Dead Wastes - A Plan for the Future

Purifying the artifacts would definitely be a notable goal. However, I am wary of the rune cannon; though it is powerful, whether we would be able to use it is a different matter. Capturing it is still important, since it denies it to our enemies; however, we do not know if it is mobile, and so pinning all our hopes on a mad dash to the south may just leave us overextended and weak. I would like to grow; the first place to settle would be the oasis (ooc: 0809), and then to look to the rocky outcrops (0609) when penetrating further into the desert. However, it is also prudent to grow east and west towards the obelisks; with the support of other Lords growing their lands alongside mine, we can gradually grow across the edge and create a buffer.

(OOC: I think tbh we're all 'in' persay
Role: Controller...thing...sort of...but not really... I just... throw summons at things and turn into a bear. So I spose more of a psuedo striker.
Helpfulness: Arianna herself isn't that helpful against the undead unless its like,an undead animal she could probably do something. The rock she carries in her pocket however, is particularly helpful.

Do we have a log of how many obelisks we have active? I have neglected to note this down... I suppose the question there is whether we continue to 'light' the obelisks or not?

Actualy, scorpions are quite a threat on the wastes, but im not sure how druids/scorpions work.

And the generals said that they want to slowly light the becons, currently, the obelisk hinders the enemy enough to slow them down, but not enough to force them to break through. We will discuss this with them, as it effects them the most.

Actually, the obelisks also affect the Lords quite strongly as well, as once activated their presence bolsters the production of the lands around them.

More investigation in general would definitely be a noble goal, though; you have my support. (OOC: Less undead specific here, and more either Shaman support of others or Warden support in terms of being in the way and general corraling of the enemy.)

I believe we currently have 3 active obelisks (the one directly south of unity city and the ones to the left and right of that one). I for one am hesitant to activate more obelisks at present, there are still lands Asthvan can settle under the effects of the obelisks without needed more to be activated. If we continue to activate them we will force our enemies in the Dead Wastes to take a more direct approach (such as the cannon). There is not much point in activating more of them until the lords are ready to expand in that direction.

As for attempting to set up a team, I would think that while we all wish to deal with the threat, it is unlikely that we can reliably go out into the dead wastes as there are other threats and administration that will also need to be done.

The reason I want a team is so that things like my resist 18 Necrotic and 18 Radient dont go to waste. Im sure other members of athesia specialise in the eradication of the undead, Paladins and Invokers. So I would like a collection of people who know each others stengths and can stratigicaly move thought the wastes. Rather like an elite squad. I dont expect them to go on every mission. But if they are needed they can be called upon.
