http://isaa.aten.org.uk/activities.php become a member of the Temple Of Aten's International Society for the Awareness of Aten Akhnaten, the Great Pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, founded the very first monotheistic religion in the world, known as "Atenism", and its central message is love of the One God and the motivation to show compassion on all life. All people, regardless of who they are or where they have been, has within the innate sense of the ever-present and all sustaining God of the Universe, and if they so choose, they may seek to commit themselves to the One Eternal God, in so doing receive the eternal bliss of living in the Paradise Worlds created by Aten for His beloved children. Through our selfless devotion to the One God and our doing no harm in thought, word and deed, we transform ourselves and our environment, making a better place. This is all starts when we remove ourselves from being the center of the universe and restore Aten to His rightful throne both in the universe and also in our minds and in our hearts and souls. Through living a God-centered life, a life rooted in compassion and wisdom, we can become the children of Aten, and be made new in His Presence. |

I have looked at this site. Some things are interesting, but I am not so sure about other things. |

I can see comparisons with other religious organizations, sometimes good and sometimes bad. I would say the Temple of Aten is ...um ... interesting. |

I've read this site too - some..rather different...ideas. Nothing's changed on their site in a very long time,(I've kept checking now and then),and their International Society for the Awareness of Aten page is no longer operational (I saw that page a while back - it looked actually pretty interesting, before it was drastically changed, then shut down.) Does anyone know if they are still even an active group? (edit: I'll save anyone who might read this some effort: as of 2012 -13,or possibly even earlier, the Temple of Aten/Orthodox Atenist Assembly is now a defunct group, their websites no longer exist.)
