The group trained on into the day, until late in the evening. The group were all better practiced in their chosen craft, and could surpass most of the recruits after their first day of training. They were still not professional however, and the short montage could in no way replace experience and time. Unfortunately neither were available. Later in the evening they retired to their tents, and Arya left for the woods, all preparing themselves for the escape in a few hours. Wisp spent a wile rummaging through the weapons. He found himself a large axe and lifted it but he ended up dragining it allong the floor rather comicaly. He got to his knees and rummaged around in the pile, he nearly lost his hat several times when he leant down and his hands had a few scratches by the end from where he had caught against a blade. Eventualy he found a small axe. He picked up a lance and thrust it into the ground before taking a few practice blows at it. It wasnt high quality but the axe ballanced well in his hands and was confortable and easy to use. He tested it more switching from his right to left hand before rummaging in the pile for a second and deciding to use both. He watched the fight between Aya and Reika in high spirits, he was happy to be doing something. He laughed when Reika told him to 'make the kill'. The fight was almost instantly going Ayas way. He parried a few blows and made some posititve looking swings but aya always parried or dodged before he managed to hit her. All in all, the day became allot better. He hadnt been surprised by Reikas skill at fighting, although he had notcied how much happier she seemed to be with blades in her hands. He was even begining to quite like her. |
