Are you bored? Do you need some recipes for a Thanksgiving meal? Do you just want to slaughter a turkey and eat it? Then this is the game for you. Brought to you by PETA (the guys who say they want to protect animals and use shock tactics to “express” their message), this game is an unauthorized parody of the (in)famous Nintendo Wii/DS cooking game series Cooking Mama. Even if you don’t like it or never have played a game from the big-eyed Mama, you have to admit this is a pretty good, detailed copy that might entertain you for a few minutes. Mama's madder than usual, though. But be warned, this game is trying to persuade you to see the injustices committed to animals by showing you just how to cook a Thanksgiving turkey. LOL!! Oh the lengths these freaks go to. I don't think they realize this has been going on for countless millenia and animals do it to each other every day. Their money could be far better spent furthering humanitarian work to tormented creatures that actually have emotions. |

Hmm I don't really recognize any humor in this, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is a serious issue, or any rubbish like that. I just can't see how it's funny. @SN Better used on creatures with emotions? like humans? I beg to differ, a turkeys life is equal to that of a human, it's the egotistical society we live in that portrays humans as more important. Nevermind the fact that there's enough humans in this world as it is. That said, I had chicken for dinner..... Which indicates that I don't think a turkey's life is as important as humans, but rather a humans life is as worthless as a turkeys...... Ah damn, the strange people are here to take me away in a straight jacket again. |

The humor isn't in the game. Its in the way PETA tries to further their cause and get people to join their efforts. I would disagree. A human's life is far greater than that of any animal's. I'm going to say that it isn't entirely right to kill animals for food, but it is the natural way of the world, the human race is naturally a predator - an omnivore to be exact, and limiting your diet to just veg isn't going to stop the animals being killed, only deny you what evolution (or God if you believe that - I have nothing against that) has put on your plate through natural selection. Now, time to throw a blanket over my head and hide from the theological debate! |

I think the game is funny but only because of the base of the game. I have played cooking mama on my cousins ds one verry boring day of my life and this game is almost an exact replica but realistic. Also I noticed the Tofu turkey was easyer, anyone else notice that. Verry subtle but a good play. Ethics dont come into it for me. |

I'm not giving a theological debate,a ndi can guaruntee that if I don't no one will. But as you say, it is the way of the world. No matter what you think of animals as far as their equality to humans, they are still prey and we are still predator. We would be doing them a grave disservice if we didn't eat them. There's also the fact that the meat indiustry is HUGE and provides alot of jobs for alot of people and it also keeps money flowing through the market. I'm not saying I'm against or in favor of this, but PETA surely needs to change their focus and tactics. Animals do feel (we're all animals), but the human species is regarded as far superior just because most are more intelligent than any other animal (but some have a healthy brain and act too stupidly or recklessly, that animals should be preferred over them). And yes, gangreen, the tofurkey was the easiest part of all, the game just wanted to avoid making you meaner than Mama in the first 3 parts (I managed to be meaner than her in all except 1 task). The people who made the flash game must be Cooking Mama fans, I had played the Wii game and it runs almost the same way. Also, eggs bleeding when you smash them  !?!? |

Okay now I get what's supposed to be humorous, but I'd question if this really is a Peta promotion, or if it's a mock-Peta individual/group that made it. Since I sincerely doubt the cover of "Cooking Mama; Mama kills animals" is intended to send any message which isn't either connected to humor or a form of mock-peta. In regards to the human life debate. I started (SN started the topic, I started the debate by disagreeing) I agree with Shining and in terms of food, completely agree, there's nothing wrong with eating another creature as it's natural. I'd probably eat a fellow human if there was no other source of meat in this world. (Yay cannibalism) However in regards to the value of life, I disagree that human life is somehow important. And definetely disagree that Anyone who has kicked an animal knows that animals feel pain, and anyone who owns a cat probably know how they can be very easily pissed off. While it's quite likely animals (animal = exclude human) have a lot less complex emotional mentality then humans, they do have emotions. On the flipside, I'd say humans have too many emotions. @MoL, what do you mean by "Most humans?" XD. Though you have to keep in mind that's a human ideology that their life is worth more. If I were an ant, I'd most likely value my own life over some humans. It's funny that I'm arguing pro-animal, when I don't even like most animals. but as I said in my first post, I'm probably saying human life isn't really anything special. Since I don't like the majority of the human populace either. |
