Emperor Ladnius: Prepare brave gladiators for the biggest fight of your life. Here in this arena in the dephts of the Pacific Ocean, you will face daring challenges and grand clashes in your quest to obtain the fame and glory you think you deserve. If you dare sought out and you're strong, brave and wise enough to enter, list your name, short description and main weapons of choice. I, as the Emperor who built this underwater arena, will decide the challenges and battles you'll face. [This is a free-style role-playing, so anything is possible and accepted unless against forum rules or the ones established in this post. Just make up your imaginary characters and join in. You will never kill the elusive Wisp. Like smoke I will slip through your fingers time and time again before planting a crosbow bolt between your shoulderblades. Your force and your mid tricks will never outmatch my skill. (So, Name: Wisp, weapon: Crossbow and limited powers of teleportation although if we are in an arena it should be enough to get from one side to the other. I want to know how this is going to work. Will we fight to the death in wich case what is to stop fights going on forether?) |

Your confidence is misplaced. We will wipe any semblence of victory from your fate, we are the ones who are destined to win in this tournament, be not fooled by our ethereal appearance, we are capable of delivering stronger blows than most men can live through. (realised I forgot appearance - white robes, arms mostly transparent and ethereal, with solid glowing white hands holding a golden staff with a sun symbol on the end, golden symbols in the shape of wings emerging from the back of the robes, head is a floating orb, with glowing white eyes without iris or pupil and a glowing white halo, its kinda like this pic but with the differences I described:  )

Emperor Ladnius: OK, challengers, prepare for your first task, which is an three mile race around the arena's interior on... one leg,... while holding a two-ton rock on your back and... your hands tied to it! If your rock touches the ground, you have to start all over again. This will not only test your strength and balance, but your resistance to pressure (banana peels will fall on top of you as you limp your way to the finish). [The trick is you can do almost anything, and you have to try to avoid your opponent finishes first. Everyone will (and have to)eventually fall or lose their rock and start over. Also try to make it fun and funny, this is not a serious role-playing. Do as you please, nobody will win the race until Ladnius says so, and he'll decide who, based on the most creative after various tries and fails. Anyone can still join in on the race late.] |
