Sheena's was born into the world alone, her father had gone off to war and perished, while her mother had died giving birth. She was raised by an elderly woman until the age of six, when her village was attacked by a horde of undead. Fleeing to the neighboring town, Sheena then became a street urchin and stole from others until one day she found a rucksack lying in an alley. Hoping for food, or perhaps even some coins, she was disappointed yet surprised when she discovered that the bag only contained hay and a large egg. Sheena looked around to make sure she hadn't be spotted, and just when she lifted the egg out of the bag it began to crack. Alarmed she quickly stuffed the egg back into the sack and ran off.

The following day she returned to find the rucksack still there, while doubtful she approached the rucksack and opened it only to find a snake-like creature lying in a pile of eggshells. Intrigued she reached out at the motionless creature. Perhaps it was dead? She reached in and lifted it out of the sack, and gasped when it made a small screeching sound. She looked around to make sure no one had heard before returning to her usual spot.

At the age of 16 Sheena enlisted in the royal flying corps. It was unusual for the army to allow the enlistment of a common street urchin, but the large wyvern by her side had swayed the votes in her favour. Sheena had grown attached to Kyrie as it was most likely the only friend she had in the whole world. Others however we're not so fond of the wyvern, as it's presence disturbed the pegasi.

One day Sheena returned from a drill only to find Kyrie bruised and bleeding. The creature greeted her in it's usua; cheerful tone, but it was obvious it was in pain. She looked around the stall to find bits of glass and rocks lying about. Upset she thoroughly cleaned the stall and attended to the beasts wounds before reporting it to her commander, only to be told, she should "keep her eyes on the foul creature." Unfazed she packed all her belonging and moved into the stall with Kyrie, ingoring the sniggers and insults that were hurled her way. Life was hard, but her childhood had been worse.

But even that ended when an unknown army was discovered within Halfsburgs borders. According to intel it was an Allston force, but there was no hard evidence. Sheena was told to act as a decoy by flying towards the enemy, while the others who had been stationed elsewhere circled from behind, a company of myrmidons and soldiers had been placed below her, so that the risk of being shot down would be decreased. Being her first major battle, Sheena was bursting with enthusiasm, she'd show the others how strong her Kyrie was. The signal to move was given and she flew towards the enemy encampment, almost immediately alarms went off, as she saw people scurrying about. She was about to swoop down when an arrow zipped brushed her cheeck. Shocked she spun around and barely dodged a volley of arrows. Had they been ambushed, she looked around for the footsoldiers only to find that not one was in sight. She hesistated, she could either continue her mission, or leave and be accused of treason. Determined, she charged into the enemy encampment and smiled as a few soldiers fell to the ground in a puddle of crimson liquid. This was too easy, they didn't even seem to be trained. Just when she was going in for a second swoop another volley of arrows flew towards her. Realizing this too late, she tried to swerve away, but it was obvious she wasn't going to make it. She closed her eyes preparing for the worst, when she felt Kyrie sharply rise, followed by a cry of anguish. Sheena opened her eyes and noted that they were slowly loosing altitude. She sensed Kyrie was in pain, but where the arrows had gone remained a mystery.

Kyrie finally landed with a loud groan, Sheens quickly hopped off to find the mystery arrows embeded deeply into Kyrie's underside, she was about to treat them, when she sensed others around her. It was the soldiers and Myrmidons that were supposed to have supported her. She glared at them, but Kyrie's treatment came first. She quickly pulled out a vial, but a man quickly ran up to her and knocked it out of hand. Enraged she looked up at the man. "By act of treason you are under arrest" the man shouted. Anger turned to confusion. She had done her job... She didn't resist as two men grabbed her arms and dragged lifted her up. The man who had spoken then lifted his spear, and pointed it at Kyrie. Alarmed Sheena stuggled, but the men beside her retained their iron grip. Sheena watched helplessly as the man jabbed at her beloved wyvern over and over again. Cheers went up around her.

It was when the beast gave it's final cry and stopped moving that the men beside her loosened their grip. Immediately she broke their hold, snapping one of the soldiers arms in the process. A small skirmish resulted and moments later, Sheena was thrown beside Kyrie. She ignored the insults being hurled at her, she looked around 12 were critically injured, and another 6 lie motionless and unattended. She looked at the dead and couldn't help a smile when she saw that the man who had spoken earlier and killed her Kyrie lie amongst those she had slain. She closed her eyes content.

She'd awaken much later, her whole body aching under the protective wing of her wyvern. Slowing moving the wing aside, and was met with the sight of complete carnage, dead men in their dozens lie everywhere. She turned to face her wyvern and noted the claws encrusted in dried blood. She smiled as a tear came to her eye. The wyvern was clearly dead. She held Kyrie's head in her arms cradling the same way she had cradeled Kyrie many years ago. She kissed the head of her wyvern for the first and last time. "I'll be with you soon."
