The Army of Light RPG is a series of tactical role playing games developed to play on the computer by Mercenary of Light with the help of his friends and other members. The gameplay is based on strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, but with new characters and an original story that members of this forum create, develop and will later experience.

In an undefined time period, Sky and Arial have met up with Arial's old mistress, Lyssian and are hunting for the source of the monsters plaguing the lands, during their quest at various points they encountered Nathanial, Formorii and Sylvanus, who joined them. Their quest has brought them to the mountains north of Lantel. They are currently on the trail of a rumoured Dark Lord that they have heard about in some nearby towns, on a thin mountain path with a steep, near vertical drop to the rocks below on one side.. Sky - "Brrrr, why couldn't this suposed dark lord make his home somewhere warm, like the beaches of Citileford?" Arial - "I dare say because that make a less than ideal lair, what with the hundreds of people who flock there every sunny day. Besides, that would be too easy." Lyssian - "The cold is good for you young Sky! It strengthens your endurance and discilpine! So stop whining and keep moving!"

What I am wearing is not verry suited to this weather. If I had had some warning I could have bought myself a coat to keep me warm and some better padded boots" Jeremy: "You really do moan allot don't you friend." Nathaniel: "Jeremy you are able to talk like that only because you have that robe wrapped so tightly around you. Anyway I thought you were particularly bothered by cold. How is it that you are walking along like it was a warm summers day." Jeremy: "Because Nathaniel I do not have such a big mouth as yours to let the heat out" Jeremy laughed at his dear friend and patted him playfully on the back. Nathaniel simply grunted and continued walking. (OoC: If we aren't meant to have assistants at this point I will edit this post)

Nathanile wipped out his bow and fired into the mongolls. He was rewarded with a choking sound and a thump as one of the mongolls fell out of the sky. Jeremy: "There is simply no way to please you is there Nathaniel." Jeremy readied his sword and crouched near Nathaniel waiting to pick of any Mongols that got too close. Nathaniel: "I would be perfectly happy if I was not on the side of a cold mountain and I was not being attacked by vicious creatures" He fired another arrow into the Mongolls but his arrow whized past the side of a Mongulls head. The Mongoll flew down towards Nathaniel. (Ooc: Ill leave this open but if everyone has more important things to do Jeremy kan kill it for me.)
