fomorii was riding through the woods of nightwood, he had been told the last known location of the army of light and wanted to go join them. when a rope was pulled taut i n front of his horse. he was thrown from the saddle, and landed painfully on his arm. bandits rushed from the udergrowth at the side of the road. he leaped to his feat and drew out his bow. however to his dismay he realised he could not draw back the arrow because of his arm. he dropped the bow and started jabbing at the bandits with an arrow. he realised that his efforts where hopless when his arrow was snapped in half. now surrounded he was getting desperate he charged at the nearest bandit hoping to throw him of balance and make a break for freedom. the bandit saw the move coming and raised his sword. fomorii could not stop he knew he was going to die. The swordsman was suddenly encapsulated by a black cocoon of dark energy. Fornorii's momentum carried him into the dark sphere and was carried through to the otherside, unharmed. The raiders suddenly noticed a mysterious fog, creeping across the ground with invisible feelers, encapsulating them in a damp cloud of thick mist. Edited by zoiboi94, Sep 26 2008, 03:33:32 PM.

fomorii taken by suprise by the lack of sword piont, lost his footing tumbled head over heels into a bush this caused a spark of agonising pain in his arm.

An apparition suddenly appeared infront of the bandits, they stared - then started cowering. One took a potshot with a throwing-knife; the knife disapeared. The confused knife-weilder scratched his head, then collapsed onto the floor, the knife protruding from his spine. Meanwhile, the confused Fornorii was startled to find that crouching in the bush beside him was a man with a startling appearance. He was in deep meditation, cupped between his hands was a cane of dark ivory topped with a large emerald. |

fomorii thaught about asking what this man was doing but decided no to because he looked like he was in a deep chain of thaughts. fomorii drew out another arrow and chaged out of the bush and stabbed the the arrow wit all his might into the back of the nearest bandit. he ran off again into the bushes the otherside of the road. |

formorii spun on the spot and ran towards the closest one, he leaped into the air over the swining axe and planted both i his feet in the bandits face.

The beguiling man pointed his cane at the other axe-weilder, the weapon was clamped firmly to his side; he could not move his arms. The raider started kicking about with his feet, then when that failed started rolling about on the floor. |
