Mercenary Lord

Who are your favorite FE lords (you may vote for 3 in the poll)? This is not just statwise, but overall stats, personality and appearance. I've only played FE 7 and 8, so I'll pick from those games (I know a lot of the other FEs, mostly of Fe 6 and 9's stories, but not played them). Lyn - I picked her because of stats (awsome Skill and Speed) and appearance, because her tough-but-no-really-tough personality is boring. She's predictable on her actions and she seems like a carbon copy of video game tough girls. Hector - He was made a little original, not acting like a "regular" noble and more like a brute. He's cool and sometimes harsh and funny, but always pawning everything with his great stats. Ephraim - The best FE lord ever. He's awesome, cool, daring, strong and resistant. He's also smarter than other lords, including his sister. His supports are either funny or interesting. |

Eliwood for story mostly A support with Ninian all the way. besides he can get some good stats all round, it would have been nice to premoted him sooner. Ephraim mostly for being a good fast spear user, which form the bulk of my team in SS. And Marth because he is my Super Smash Brothers charecter when people unlock the content <unlike the other day where I was zelda...who I liked> |

I would have picked Eliwood for story and (part of) his persoanlity, but he and Roy are almost the same except that he has Ninian. |

I like Lyn for her differences from the traditional "royal lord" carbon copy, and because she uses katanas... I like Hector for his style in fighting and personality |

Lyn cause she's cool and hector cause he rocks. I didn't like Eliwood and Ike was kinda lame. And Miciah needed more exposure. She got shoved to the back after the first quarter of the game.

Lyn because of both her stats and personality. Wasn't exactly original but I liked her nonetheless, plus her story was not bad. Hector, putting the fact that he seems to kill everything aside, his personality as a more simple minded brute was appealing. And he shone especially brightly when compared to Eliwood, who was a bit more quiet and boring. Ephraim, he looks nice? Another lord I enjoyed playing as because of their stats and their personality. |

Lyn- I got her up to 20/20 through massive munchkining/grinding/power leveling/ no-one else in my group was good, and she owned everyone. Plus she was kind of like a swordmaster lord. Overpowered and Turbospeed. Ephraim- Was, is, and always will be the best Fire Emblem lord. Too bad his Final Boss was so easy. Oh well. My Ephraim was lv 13 at the end of 7x. I soloed it on hard mode, adding later problems. Also he seemed like more of an actual leader than most other lords. Ike- I blew all of money making him a godly forge sword with maxed out stats. 15 MT 18 AVD 9 Crit 3 WT. Plus he gets to be responsible for two final boss deaths. (Marth does not count, as he did not absolutely have to kill either boss.)(Though technically only Ike had to kill the second boss, but you get my point.) Also he is the first lord to actually fight a dynamic one on one (sort-of) battle that can be won or lost. |

Ike I hated from the sheer fact that he's gotta be the worst example of a mercenary in the world. And I didn't care much for the games he was in. Ephraim is just a freaking tank. Plus if he's your main lord he can basically be a thief because you can just take a key out of your caravan and use it on a door or chest whenever. I was also disappointed by the pitiful stats of the Demon Lord. All-powerful evil my butt, that guy was a push-over. Soren's got more evil power than that guy. |

I dont know about his utility as key-master lord, since I rarely use keys (except the ones on Vaalni in the 3rd level?). Colm can do everything for free from chapter 10 onwards (I treat keys like the vulneraries, pure waters and elixirs monsters give you, more gold on your pocket). Lyn's really good, her only downside is average strength and weak character (personality/actions). |
