After an intense battle with Elati's men until sunset, the members of the Army of Light prepare to go to sleep. Dan is on the town getting some food. Althea: wakes up confused, looking around the Hall "It's night already." Dalainah: sitting right beside her "You've slept for three hours after the axe knocked you out. Are you feeling better?" Althea: "Yes, I feel... rejuvenated and..." looks at the bandages on her arms "very strange." Dalainah: "That's normal. Three hours ago, we thought we had almost lost you. Are you hungry?" Althea: "Yes, I feel like I could eat cow meat." Dalainah: "Don't worry Dan's off getting some food, including some vegetables for you." Althea: "Is the battle over?" Dalainah: "Yes, everything's finished." Althea: "Did Dan say anything about tomorrow?" Dalainah: "He hasn't decided if we'll leave tomorrow morning as planned or wait another day for you to rest." Althea: "But I'm fine now." Dan: "It's great to hear you're fine. But you still have to rest." Althea: "I don't want to slow you down and I'm not in bad shape anymore." Dan: "No, you have to rest. Besides it will give us more time to prepare." Althea: "Who knows what could happen if we wait one more day? Please, I want to go. I will not go into the battle or make foolish risks, I'll stay behind to heal. And my left hand's alright, it's just a scratch from the fall." Dan: "But you're in no condition to walk a long distance." Dalainah: "What if she rides with me on Fridmond?" Althea: "That's a good idea. Please, Dan, if I go with Dalainah, it will all be fine? I'll be resting all night and day." Dan: "Ok, we'll start when you wake up and finish. Now, eat some food, village healer's orders." |

*Bromf walks past the door arguing with a guard, about not being woken for his watch. He sees Dan and Althea, smiles but gives an apologetic look for the noise* *Speaking to the guard* Lets take this away from here. Don't look so scared, I will only be reliving your men of their duty. *Outside Bromf excanges watch with a guard who leaves quickly with the other, from his possition Bromf notices Galahad sitting at his window looking out into the night*. |

That guard made sure no one woke me for the watch duty that I had asked to be part of. He said I needed to rest, but I will have none of that, so I have relived another of his duty instead, since he will not have rested since the battle ended and would then have had my duty too if I had not woken. I suppose I should be greatful for the extra rest time, and that these mens vigalance is strong. I will make a point to appologise to him before we leave. How is Althea, I saw she has come around, I appologise for making so much noise when she must still be in a fragile state. |

Dan: She's doing well. She wants us to keep on and head tomorrow. I still think she should rest more. Dalainah offered to carry her on her Pegasus during the journey. |

Hmm as noble as it is, I think one more day will do more good if she stays here. Even riding on a pegusis will be hard for her. Besides if we lost her on the march we would not have a healer to see us home which could jepodise the whole group. Besides we will need to dispose of the carrion you left on the street which may take some time. Did you look in the bag around his neck that I threw to you? His horse is in the stable too for you to deal with as you see fit as well. |

Dan: I can't let her die, she's my friend and she left her position and life as cleric to come here because of that. I'd prefer to leave Althea here than lose her in battle. And I don't care for not having a healer, we started without one... Eh, I guess I'll wait one more day. Tomorrow we'll use the free time to practice. I'll go to sleep now. Good night. |

I left after my lover died. She was killed by a pack of werewolves, the attack was unprovoked and she walked alone and unarmed. I could not save her, I found her dismembered body about a small glad where we used to walk. The leaves were painted red with her blood. I was haunted by that memory while I lived there and so asked to leave for a while. I was given the task to keep watch on the outside world while I sought peace. I am still haunted in my sleep but not so much, but when I do and after I wake I feel the desire to impart justice to the fiend that did it to her. And any who stop me will feel my blade. I met Dan a few years ago and since his aim was to seek out fiends and remove them from this world, I agreed to help so I could find the beasts from my past. I have killed many but not yet found any leads, so continue hunting. Why did I not die when she did? I will not die becasue this life is the one she loved so much. I never knew my parents, and have no memory since I was found by her and the counsil of druids her parents were part of, they took care of me and raised me. But I fear that if I die my soul may never find rest, and it will be cursed to roam the world because I never had a known oragin. |
