Galahad: "Commander", he hailed, "The thieves have all been dispatched, none more should come, but to make sure we emptied the treasury. I did not have time to look it all over so I don't know what was there. Though I did find these." Galahad hands dan an elixir and two vulneraries. "I thought they may be needed. How fares the battle?" (I'll be gone for the next three days, so one of you guys can take over. I don't care who does. Just don't let me die! And don't talk too much. Schuss!) |

Kaivai: *Takes on the knights, healing constantly* Dan: Now Elati, I think it's time for me to undo my favor. Elati: *draws an arrow on his bow and directs it at Dan* I think you've got that wrong, Dan. It is you who will die tonight, at the moment the sun has set. *shoots the arrow which barely misses; prepares another an attack, but Dan moves up closer and attacks his horse. Elati moves backwards and shoots, hitting Dan this time on his right arm.* Dan: *takes out arrow and almost falls on his knees, he takes his sword on his left arm and attacks. Kaivai and Galahad go in to help, but Elati's very strong and agile, evading Kaivai's axe and his horse taking few damage from Galahad's sword.* Elati: See, not even three against one can defeat me. *prepares one last arrow against Dan, but Dalainah and Bromf drop in and make it miss. Dalainah succesfully slams Elati off his horse.* Uuhhh. *Dan takes out a black bottle from his pocket and Elati's eyes get filled with fear. He tries to pick himself off the ground, but he can't.* NO, DAN, I'm sorry, please, spare me... please. Dan: *the sun has set and the night's getting darker* I know there's no hole or enemy army around here, but I'm making sure you go through something similar. *throws bottle at Elati's chest, breaking on impact and spilling a dark blue-purple liquid on him. Everyone looks surprised or shocked for what he did instead of killing him directly.* Now, let's go back to the Hall and rest. I'll leave this worm to rot on the floor and bury it tomorrow morning. [Bromf can take over if he wants. The chapter's about to end.] |

Leaving him for the carrion of the night? Are you sure that is wise he could lure all kinds of fiends into the village. *Bromf goes and inspects the body covered in the strange ink* What is this solution Dan? *He cuts away a chain around his neck and pulls it free revealing a small bag. He throws it to Dan* Maybe there is something of value in there of his at least it feels hevey enough to pay for any damages to the village. I would search further but I do not want to find out what this ink would do to me, maybe in the morning. *He turns to see Galahad leap the wall and return to the halls. He picks up the nomads bow and gives it to Dalainah for safe keeping.* *Bromf waits with the nomads body until guards arrive from the hall to relive him of his watch, and goes out of the town to fetch the horse which was grazing in the fields near the town, he rides it back into the courtyard of the hall and puts it in the stables insuring it is well fed. Then he goes to have someone tend to his injuries and ease his weryness. When he arrives he passes Galahad at the door, who nods at him <to which Bromf returns the gesture> then disapears down the halls*. <I'll take over for SN.> |

Dan: *goes up to Bromf, and speaks to him in a low voice, that’s almost whispering* That was a rare poison I got during my time as mercenary,... not from Lantel, if that’s what you’re thinking, but from an enemy nation. They use it on their weapons to bring a slow death on their enemies, or just to weaken them. It dissolves and acts fast, but it kills hours later. Your only hopes of surviving are through an experienced healer, and even then, the agony will prevail. *goes up to Dalainah who’s sitting in the floor along with Althea and a village healer who a guard asked to come* How’s she doing? Village Healer: She’s doing ok, she just needs some rest. The elixirs and the bandages worked together to prevent more bleeding. She’ll wake up in a few hours, by then give her something warm to eat. Dan: Ok, thanks for coming. *now goes up to the throne, takes out his sword from the scabbard and begins breaking the wall* Galahad: What are you doing? Dan: Breaking the wall to get some treasures. Dalainah: What? But we got all the great treasures from the treasure room. Dan: Yes, but I didn’t hide the best treasures in a chest, were it would be obvious prey to thieves *the bricks finally break down, and Dan takes two small bags inside a hole on the wall* Dalainah: What could be worth more than an elixir and still fit in a small bag? Dan: These. *takes out two blue bottles from the bags* Two bottles of Afa’s Drops. Dalainah: Afa’s Drops? How did you get those? Dan: That’s a secret, but I hid these gems until the moment I needed them most. The drops have magical properties that enhance our abilities. And there’s enough drops for each of us. Kaivai: I’ll pass, I don’t deserve as much as you do. Dan: You do deserve them. Kaivai: I’m powerful enough to not need them right now. Please, don’t. Dan: I respect your opinion, so we’ll split fifty-fifty between the four of us, 2 drops each.• •A normal Afa’s Drops gives a 5% boost to all stats, or 40%. Two give a total of 80%, which divided by 4 (Dan, Dalainah, Galahad and Bromf) is 20% for each character. These four characters receive 20% to add to their growths (the members can either add 20% to one stat’s growth or 10% to 2 stat growths). The Afa’ Drops is a very rare item that will only be given twice (or maybe more), the first has gone to the members who began the community, and the other time(s), when I find it appropriate and the receiving members deserve it for over-outstanding work in all areas. [Note: I gave it to Dan and Dalainah to make it fair.] |

I will use mine to improve my chance to hit and my health then since they are the areas I am lacking in. But now if I am permitted, I would like some rest, unless I am needed to on the watch. Wake me for my shift when it comes. |

Dan: You'll have to apply your drops over your chest (for health) and hands (for accuracy). I'll apply mine to my hands (for accuracy) and legs (for speed). Dalainah: I want to be stronger and more skilled at magic. Where do I apply mine? Dan: Over your forehead. And you, Galahad, what abilities do you want to improve? Galahad: I'll choose which soon. |
