While Dan, Bromf, Galahad, Althea, Kaivai and Dalainah are reunited in the LMG Reunion Hall, discussing the continent’s current situation, suggesting tactics to use and making decisions, a group of soldiers marches north into the Hall. They are armed, determined, and don’t look like they want to join in on the reunion, rather they want to interrupt it.  Guard: "Marshall, there’s a large group of soldiers approaching from the south. The leader has his face covered and seems to be a nomad." Dan: "Are you sure he’s a nomad?" Guard: "He has a bow and a yellow horse, what else could he be?" Everyone stands up and goes outside to see the soldiers arriving at the front gates. The leader dismounts from his horse and reveals his face, which was covered in an orange scarf with a sun in the middle. Dan: "Commander Elati, I should have expected you to come. I know you’re not joining us voluntarily in my Reunion Hall, so I’m expecting an explanation from you, now. You just interrupted our meeting." Elati: "Come on Dan, why the cold and suspicious greeting? I was just passing by here, and decided to drop by and congratulate you on becoming Marshal." Dan: "I know that would never be the reason, Elati. You were always trying to force the king into giving you the position, and you always felt deep jealousy towards my accomplishments as mercenary. If you were coming here for something other than impeding us from doing our job, you wouldn’t have come with all your men." Elati: "You have a wrong idea of me, Dan. I come in peace to give mere congrats, but I see you have changed over time." Dan: That’s because I’m not the trusting person I was before. I know you well enough to understand your intentions and predict your moves before you make them. I’ll give you one last chance, because I will not forgive you again. Leave now or we’ll have to force our way out of here. Elati: "I don’t know why you want us to fight over nothing. I’m telling you, I’m just visiting because I happened to be around here. And you’re the one who should know well that that was an error of mine and it happened because of the rush at the moment." Dan: "But I was still alive and everything could have been avoided or undone by you. You really wanted me dead and have come here for that reason. I should have left you die then, because it would have saved me some time now." Elati: "I don’t know why you insist on fighting, but if that’s what you wish, then so be it." Dan: directs himself to Elati's soldiers "Soldiers, if you have been forced to fight for Elati and will like to save your lives, you may leave now; you have my permission,... which is of higher authority than your commander." looks back at Elati "The rest of you will have to face us." Elati: "You think they’ll leave because you say so." laughs at Dan "I pay them, I control them. We came here to eliminate you and your puny party, and we’re not leaving until your bodies lie motionless on the ground. You’re outnumbered by a force far stronger than any army you could ever hope to organize. You could never win. You actually believe my soldiers will leave when overwhelming odds are at their side? And why should you even care for my forces, they wouldn’t join you if you spared their lives, and they can’t either. " Dan: "I hate to stain my blades with the blood of the innocent, as well as I hate to stain it with the blood of unworthy scum like you. You’re wasting our time, and I hate that – Army of Light, prepare yourselves for battle. Protect the castle and your allies. Don’t let any of Elati’s soldiers near the throne and treasures, and fight anyone who takes arms against you. I want to finish this before sunset." [Note: The map is to let you see the setting and how many enemies (and of which class) are on the map. Some enemy thieves will appear later and try to pilfer the treasure chests.] |

Sadly money sways the soldiers minds, but if greed drives them, I will glad clense the army of such fools. The sheer amount of spears may become an issue fast for me, but I did not come to this place to die. I'll leave Elati to you Dan, do you have an formations for our defences? |

Dan: I'll leave the guards to protect the hall and treasure room. The rest of us will force our way towards Elati. Kaivai, you'll be our frontline, since you can sustain some damage and tear up some lances. *Kaivai nods and moves forward* Galahad, you stay near the wall and weaken the enemy lines, it's shade and the trees will provide you cover. Dalainah, fly east and bait in some soldiers. Avoid the archers. Dalainah: Ok. *takes off on her Pegasus* Dan: Althea you stay in the back healing everybody. Avoid getting hit. Althea: Ok, don't worry, I'll be fine. Dan: Bromf, you an I, will move behind Kaivai and take on anyone in our way. |

Dalainah: *while flying on her Pegasus notices someone near the treasure room* Commander, there's a thief behind the trees in the east. It's heading towards the treasures. Dan: No. *gets angry* Dalainah, try everything you can to stop him. There are important items in that treasure room and we can't let him get them. Galahad, Dalainah will need your help, you're the only here more skilled at quick and deadly attacks. |

Dan: I know that, Galahad. And you don't have to kill him if you don't want, just weaken him enough to not enter the treasure room. *Kaivai goes up to one of the soldiers, breaks his lance and pushes him to the floor* Dan; That reminds me. If you need to buy new weapons or vulneraries, there's an armory and a shop nearby. I have some 6000 sparks, which is enough to split and give everyone 1000 sparks. [Note: You may change your inventory in your profile at any time free of cost (but while in character, they do cost). Sparks are for the General Shop.] |
