Dan and Bromf arrive at the LMG Reunion Hall where some people are already waiting at the gate. Dan has met some of them from the LMG. He saluted them and then went to open the gate and door of the Hall. When everybody got inside, he greeted them and told them that the meeting will start in an hour to let other members come. A young lady covered in a white robe rose up from her seat and approached Dan. To the others, she might have looked like a delicate flower unfit for the dangers of war and who has never used a knive or any other weapon for any purpose besides chopping food. She wasn't like that even though she was mostly peaceful. She was an old friend of Dan from the days he lived in Nentreade. Althea: "Hey." Dan: "Hey, Althea, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other. It’s good to see you’re ok. How’s everything doing in Nentreade? I heard there were some tumults going on." Althea: "Everything’s ok, at least from what I’ve heard. My family moved to Arddizir a few months after your last visit. Father was asked to work in the Lantelian Church’s Library." Dan: "That’s great. I guess you also fulfilled your dream of being accepted in the clergy, I mean judging by your clothes." Althea: "I did get in, but I left the job recently." Dan: "… why? …" confused Althea: "Because I realized it’s not what I really wanted and it wasn’t how I imagined it to be." Dan: "In what may I help you then?" Althea: "I think you already know the reason for me coming here. I want to join the Army of Light... No, don’t give me that look, I’m serious and I can help." Dan: "I know you can help, you’re a good healer. I remember you mended my wounds when I got hurt practicing…" Althea: "…I made them worse most of the time…" Dan: "…but you tried and that matters, you were just a small girl beginning to learn healing then. I think you were also practicing some basic spells when I left. But what…?" Althea: "…made me change my mind about war? Well, this war you’re fighting is not like the other ones fought in this continent. You’re not fighting to fulfill someone’s greed or your pleasure; you’re fighting to protect others from the dark savage beasts that have invaded us. I know you’re about to face perils that nobody else has ever faced before. And you alone are leading a small army through hostile territory without the support of the other nations, something the original Army didn’t have to go through. You will need help from a healer and I’m here to offer it." Dan: "Thank you, Althea. Even though you don’t have to be here, you were always there to help me out. I appreciate your assistance, and I want you to know that if things get too dangerous, you are free to go back to your home." Althea: "But I’m not going anywhere the Army of Light isn’t going. I'm not leaving you to do this alone." Dan: "I'm not really alone, not anymore." Althea: "Good. Because I'm not going to wake up at midnight to heal black firefly burns." both laugh Dan: "I'm not that stubborn anymore." [This is a pre-chapter, a topic where members say if they want to participate in the next chapter or opt out. Here, new members can also join in and introduce their characters (everything while staying in character). A pre-chapter also serves the purpose of communicating with other members or between character and assistant (you don't need an Assistant's Aid for him/her to talk to your main character or nother member in the pre-chapter, but they will not appear in the chapter if you don't have it). This pre-chapter occurs in the LMG Reunion Hall, you are one of the people seated inside waiting if other members come.] Note: It would be a good idea that you put a hyperlink on your introduction to the character's profile/stat sheet. |

Well Dan isn't this cosy *winks*, who is she then, I remember he voice but it does not match the face I remember it belonging to. Does she know where I can get a drink before we have to go again? If not have someone find me before we start the meeting I want to have a look around to see if they have kept the halls all nice for us.

A healer, and she is comming with us then? I am sure it will do her the world of good to get away from that church, I have never seen the point of them myself mother earth and Father sky can be worshipped anywhere I was taught back home. Well I shall go and get myself a drink then. If I am not back in time send someone after me. And before any of you think it I will come back in a fit state, I will not be drinking myself silly, I'll be most likely water I have anyway. |
