The Army of Light hurries up and arrives at the City of Hairt within three hours, most of them barely awake and having eaten nothing. There they found Dalainah and a group of soldiers who claim to have a hint at where the bishop might have escaped. Althea: runs towards Dalainah and hugs her “Dalainah, you’re ok, thank God. I was worried, and I prayed much for your safety. I am sorry for…” Dalainah: “There’s no need to be sorry, it wasn’t your fault. Besides we have to hurry and rescue Dan!” Bromf: “I assume you’ve found where he is.” Dalainah: “Yes, we just received a rumor of the building the bishop hid in. Dan is probably still there, because that was the place they were taking me.” Bromf: “Where is it then? We have no time to lose.” Dalainah: “It’s in an underground building right underneath us. We can access it through a nearby cave. There seems to be a lot of armed men inside and probably killed the soldiers that went looking, since they never came back.” Bromf: “Ok, then everybody, let’s get ready to charge in and rescue our Marshal. Icai, will you and the Hairt soldiers, provide us help?” Icai: “We wish we could right now, but first we have to get permission from our Colonel, who was visiting a town nearby. We will provide you with reinforcements as soon as we are allowed.” Bromf: “As I expected; there are some things that never change here. We will go in without you, then.”  [Guys and gals, please follow these 3 rules for this map to avoid problems: 1- Do not enter the room with Dan’s body on the floor without a command from the leader. 2- Don’t kill Aya (the one in front of Dan) or the bishop. 3- Read a previous chapter to be familiarized with how we role-play here, remembering not to role-play for other members except non-boss enemies.] |

He looked in front of him, at the mass of red. His hands began to shiver slightly. They were outnumbered badly. Not that it mattered much, since quality would beat quantity any day. But was this ragtag group capable of winning anything? He stood there, deep in thoughts, staring in front of him, most of these people were much stronger than him. He looked around him, he would have to pick someone reliable to follow.

"I”ll follow you” he said, not sure what was behind the door, but he would have a good look after Sai opened it. I would retreat if I found lots and lots of kangaroos...he thought, smiling. In a few moments he had readied himself mentally, standing right behind Sai. “We might need more than just the two of us.” he said calmly.

Avion: I think we should wait for backup before delving deeper. Dalainah: I'm not sure there'll be any backup. Avion: What...? Dalainah: The Nightwood Army isn'tvery supportive of us as we once thought it was. The Hairt soldiers took over an hour to act against their own wyvern riders, and three more to rally them up, believe what I said and finally respond. And I'm lucky that Icai volunteered to get you here or else you'd still be in Twonur without any news from me. While Dalainah was saying this, a shaman was readying up a blast of flux in his hand, but Kaivai managed to barge in and slash him down. Dalainah: Thanks, Kaivai. Sorry; I should be more focused on the battle. And Sai, *she said this in an almost mad, but imperating tone* stop looking for treasure, you can raid this place up when we finish with it, but opening doors might just get us into more trouble. |

Hopefully this won't end up like that RP on Saints forum (former). Where me turning evil resulted in the death of the thread. Yay, crazy Aya gets to kill you all! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A sickeningly sound echoed through the room as Imelda pulled her weapon out of the fallen soldier. Looking around she noted that the others had finished off the rest of the nosy Nightwood grunts. She let out a soft sigh as she sat down beside a puddle of blood and started into it. "Hey, not bad for a new recruit" a man shouted loudly so others in the vicinity would take notice. Imelda however ignored the man and continued to stare at the puddle of blood. The man, not too happy about this walked over to her and shouted louder "Don't ignore me you little brat." Imelda dully noted the mans words but didn't look up, if he kept shouting like that it wouldn't be any surprise if enemy reinforcements arrived. |

Sky perked up his ears "I hear shouting, but I can't tell where it's coming from. Though I suppose this is a battle, they've probably just decided we're a threat!" he said, before firing an arrow into the throat of a charging spearman. Arial stepped forwards to Rath and Sai "I don't know what the new guy can do, but I know you aren't the most combat proud of us Sai, and I would advise you don't try anything without backup from us, call if you need help." she said, before turning and swiftly slicing across the chest of an axeman who was attempting to sneak up behind her. |
