The small boat and its' occupants sailed quietly down the river, cutting through the water with very little sound. The elves quickly dropped their military appearance now there were not civillians to look important in front of, and broke off into idle chatter. Two of the elves sat down near to Renhoc and Reika while Arya was in the cabin. "So you the two who've been giving the princess a hard time?" one of them - a blonde male elf with deep blue eyes and short hair asked The other, a brown haired woman with green eyes clipped him round the back of the head "Hey! They have a right to their opinion you know, from what I hear they have every reason to be a bit disgruntled, if not furious at Arya. For people who she set out to find, she isn't exactly treating them with the best courtesy." she said, "I apologise for Aaron here, he's a bit strongheaded, I'm Sonea." Aaron huffed "I never said it was a bad thing" he muttered "Probably doesn't want them to get a God Complex..." |

"Trust me, sir, its impossible for one who served under the lash of the kingdom's military to get a God complex. Unless of course, you're the one swinging the lash. Which I was not." Renhoc returned. "It is a pleasure to meet you. And I mean no real harm to your princess, its just my belief that everyone needs to be given a hard time on a regular basis, otheriwse they grow complacent and weak willed. Its also very fun to give people a hard time. My name is Renhoc," he said, aiming his words as much at Reika as at the two elves, and offered his hand to Aaron. |

Reika frowned at the two as they start idle chatter with Renhoc, she had been told from a young age to be wary of two types of people, those who were hostile, and those who seemed too understanding. Especially in circumstances like the current, while she could only guess, Reika assumed humans weren't very common around here, and visitors would be limited if any. Yet these two approached them as if they were used to interacting with humans. Furthermore both had implied that their own princess was to some degree at fault. Perhaps they were just being friendly, but even that would serve little to no purpose once they reached their destination. Reika sighed, "God complex huh" she thought to herself, "Isn't that the definition of royalty?" |

Aaron took Renhoc's hand "I suppose" he said, shrugging "And I wouldn't say all royalty have god complexes, generally kings and queens do, more so than their children, of course magical superiority is another reason, not a good one I admit, but sometimes these things get to people. I would like to think that Arya acts less superior than most, she is my friend, and she does all the work of a soldier." Sonea nodded "She is our friend, but that could mean we subconsciously turn a blind eye." Aaron shrugged "Maybe..." Sonea elbowed him in the ribs "Anyway, why are you being so protective over her all of a sudden - am I not good enough for you?" she said, pouting Aaron hastily shook his head "No no no! You know you're the only one for me!" he said, "hmmph, it would be nice if you reminded me of it once in a while" Sonea said, folding her arms "Ok then, but you asked for it!" Aaron replied before pulling the surprised and giggling Sonea into a kiss One of the older elves shook their head "Those two just can't let go of each other can they?" he said, as Arya came up onto the deck "I'm sure you were like that when you were their age" she said, laughing at the elf's blush Erandil meanwhile was admiring the beautiful forest, in an almost trance-like state, so was caught off guard at the sudden laughter and nearly dropped his pole. He turned to see what was going on, a confused look on his face as he saw it was the elves laughing, he didn't even know elves laughed! Then again, he didn't know much about elves, or come to that even other nationalities of humans. |

Mia was close to Erandil, she was beginning to feel strange, there was a sharp pain in her head as though someone was scratching from the inside, and it didnt feel very nice. |

Erandil noticed the slightly pained expression on Mia's face "You alright?" he asked "I'm not entirely sure what happened with that demon regarding you - but I gathered it wasn't good, is that whats the matter?" |
