George Lucas has gone and done it again! what a prick!!! saw the new CGI starwars last night and its fucking awful, it makes phantom menace look like fucking empire strikes back!!! the whole film has been dumbed down for an audience with the early learning centre. no opening scrawl! instead you get this horribly narrated cheesy narrator....its almost like a horrible spoof of the batman TV show or the news reports from starship troopers. its bloody awful!i was expecting " join us next time for more adventures! will anakin skywalker become darth vader? will anyone ever fucking notice who palpatine really is? will yoda ever get that hip replacement?" its shit. not only that but the movie has NO subtitles!! even jabba the hutt has every single word translated for him.....except jabbas gay uncle.......no im not kidding........who speaks perfect english, wears an eye mask and gold body paint and sounds like some fat tuesday bead lovin cock muncher. it just gets worse and worse, they clone wars cartoon series had us believe that clone troopers and more important here the Arc elite commandos were bad ass mofos! not anymore! they are the comic relief...almost on a par with the shitty battle droids themselves for crappy jokes and one liners. obi wan has become a pompous prick and obviously a part time thespian these days. and anakin??? ok.....he was an annoying little fuck in menace, a whiney little bitch in clones and a BIGGER whiney bitch in revenge....somehow for a couple of weeks/months during the clone wars anaking became cool. they have tried to show him as the bloody james dean of the jedi, hes cool, he doesnt give a shit and he doesnt bitch and whine anymore!!! wow i hear you say!! but it just doesnt fit in with any of the movies or other material!!! he also has a padawan?? and i swear this little bitch would have been kicked out of the jedi order in her first week. she calls anakin "skyguy".....wtf?? the whole film is aimed at 5 year olds. lucas has dumbed down the franchise for a much much younger viewer ( who will never have seen any of the star wars films ) so he can sell more toys. how you can have adult movies with dark themes like empire and revenge, both films having some serious dark moments and NOT for kids.... to being a complete and utter piss take which could be shown on CBeebies at 7am before school??? throw in huge plot gaps and pretty much everyone in the starwars universe having selective amnesia and it just gets worse. no explanation as to how ventress is in the movie considering she fell to her death in the first clone wars cartoon series. no explanation whatsoever. i hate it dont see it fuck george lucas peace out |

I saw Clone Wars last week and thought that it was enjoyable in parts. Some of the CGI, particularly space sequences was excellent. It was just like watching a new episode live action movie. I agree with you guys in respect of Anakin's padewan. What was going on there? The "Skyguy" thing is really embarrassing !! Also the constant bickering between them goes against the Jedi Master, Padewan relationship. Unless Anakin was trying to develop her as a Sith apprentice!! Jabba's gay uncle looks and sounds like Truman Capote. The resemblance is uncanny. What are they thinking about?? Yes, they truly have ruined the saga forever. It is a real shame. It could have all been so much darker and better thought out. Instead we have a gay Hutt, Jar Jar Binks, trade embargo plotlines that no ones understands or cares about, vast segments of the three original movies that look like cartoons, some really dodgy acting and cringeable dialogue. Saying that old George is a self made billionaire and probably could give a bantha track what the fans really think. He was always up against it, to match the original three movies. It was never really on was it? The only one that comes anywhere near close is Episode 3. But, even then the characters just don't gel. This is probably one of the main difficulties in the first three movies. In episodes 4-6, the trilogy's strength is the bond between the characters. This is non existent in the first 3. The Clone Wars movie was a bad idea. It really does seem like an attempt to further cash in on the saga. How much more money does it need to generate? The live action TV series should be interesting, let's hope it doesn't degenerate into more farcical nonsense. In a way I wish they would just leave it all alone and let us appreciate the original trilogy. |
