I've been a huge Counting Crow fan for years, and bought this last week, i have to say its fantastic. As the title suggests its sort of split into two parts, the louder, rockier stuff is at the start (Saturday Night) and is some of the best stuff they have ever done, the second half (Sunday Night) brings the pace down considerably and while not as immediate as the first half dozen songs fully cements Adam Duritz as one of the best singer/songwriters around. He is one of the few singers these days you believe has lived his lyrics and makes music because it is something he loves and not just to make money and that kind of quality is rare. I couldn't recommend this higher, well unless you have only ever heard Mr Jones then you should buy August And Everything After first :)

I've always been a fan of August and Everything After but couldn't really get into their later stuff.

Unfortunately an ex-girlfriend was a big fan. I don't like to be reminded of her and sadly listening to the Crows does just that - particularly Hard Candy. Which is a shame as it's a fairly decent album (if a little on the bland side IMO).

I once had a couple of mates that went to see them in concert. Adam Duritz thought it'd be hilarious to sing Time and Time Again er, time and time again. Endlessly for about 15 minutes. One mate had general zero tolerance for anything and nearly blew up...
