Contributor Posts: 233 Group: Members Member #5 Joined: Mar 10, 2008 XBox Live Gamertag hobbes06 Wii Code 0118 6981 4565 6325	bought the new rem album the other day and after the somewhat lackluster around the sun my hopes weren't too high. but its a one listen and your hooked album and easily up there with their best work...in my opinion sadly though the run time is less than 35 minutes which to be honest is shocking considering its still full price. and they wonder why people steal music???

Anyway, yeah it's a massive return to form. That's obvious as soon as you start to listen to it. They haven't really been on the ball since Automatic sadly. I still haven't forgiven them for following up that work of art with Monster - which was pretty atrocious in my opinion (apart from What's the Frequency, Kenneth? Great song!). The following albums were pretty dull and uninspiring (although Reveal had a spark of the old magic) and I didn't even bother to add Under The Sun to my otherwise complete collection... Accelerate is pretty WOW though. I even bought the special edition. A great collection of instantly catchy and memorable songs you'll find yourself singing for days - "Baby I am calling you on that!"

I think Why Not Smile is one of the best things they've done, although that probably says more about me than anything else....lol And I couldn't be further from being a metal head, give me some "dad rock" any day
