From armyofz.com As it's high time we all got together and shot each other, we're proposing an AOZ meetup day this June or July. There are currently two options - as the majority of our members have the huge pleasure of residing in the beautiful and sunny Glasgow area, option one is a paintball day at one of the many local centres where you can hunt down your friends in the woods and hurt them by firing a gas propelled cap in their ass. Obviously out-of-town members are very welcome and we'd arrange accomodation for you. As long as you don't want to "spoon" with us Weggies. Option two is a day out at Warfighters where you can get dressed up in full combat gear and act out your ass-kicking SWAT fantasies by competing in an outdoor strategy game using an advanced simulated weapon system. It looks pretty darned cool. But it's based in Northamptonshire so we'd have to arrange transport. If you think you'd be interested please post up in the forum, letting us know your preference of event and what dates you are available. Once we have a better idea which particular method we'd like to use to gun each other down like mangy dogs we can get a few quotes up. Are your trigger fingers itching yet? |

warfighters is great fun from what I've been told. check out the fragdolls video on the marketplace for some of kitts experiences when she first went. Granted 99% of people who go don't get the same extreme treatment (requiring permission to throw up, lol) but it gives you an idea of how serious these guys can be |

tbh, the activity at any kind of meet up doesn't really fuss me. mainly because unless the chosen activity is either sleeping or a LAN party chances are I won't be able to paricipate (bloody epilepsy etc etc). I know ofr a fact that warfighters just can't let me do any of their stuff (already checked with them last year). BUT, regardless of that if me & violet have the ££££ we will be there. If nothing else I can be camera man for the day |

Well, if Warfighters is the chosen venue it only lasts 10-3 with a lunchbreak so we wouldn't be playing all day. We fully intend to a have a big munch and drinkathon afterwards and spend most of the day down south, heading back late at night. We'll be hiring a minibus so will need a volunteer for designated driver to take the drunken zombies home... We had thought of staying overnight but that just adds to the cost and I'm sure we could all do without shelling out more than we have to... And only obscurd is up for doing mad things like sleeping in a wood at night with rain, bugs and werewolves. How would you and Violet get there Spectral? Obviously we'll pick you up if it's on the way (I haven't looked into the exact geography yet...) |

well me & violet are in birmingham & Violet would drive us. depending on how many people & how far out of the way it is (I have no idea where warfighters is lol) we could possibly put people up at our place over night |

Hey I never thought of that we could all just stay the night in the woods, you know with beer and......er beer.......did I mention the beer, ha ha!! Only thing is you can't plug your chosen console into a tree! but we could have beer! |

I think the only camping getting done will be the type where you just sit and wait for an enemy target to stroll on by...  So that's a whole two votes for Warfighters! And Spectral and Violet as camera crew. On the plus side I can now get 10% off the event price and any gear from the shop that anyone wishes to buy... Here's a link to the timetable so you can see the available weekends... We'll really need few more people to sign up for one event or another though. |
