Journal for Plague Lovers, produced by Steve Albini, is out on 18th May, and solely features lyrics left behind by Richey Edwards when he disappeared in 1995, so this is very eagerly awatied by fans. There was mention of them being published in book form but i'm glad the band felt able to use them and that we can here at least some of these words as intended. Topics apparently include Marlon Brando, Giant Haystacks ( no, i have no idea either, he had issues ok ), celebrity, consumerism and dysmorphia. Probably not what you'd call a party album then but if your a miserable goth like me it'll hopefully be exactly your glass of merlot. The band are also doing a short tour in May/June, starting at the Barras on the 25th, Tickets on sale Friday 27th March at 9:30. Its all up on the band website if anyone's interested. Right, i'm off to look at feather boas and tiaras!
