Contributor Posts: 233 Group: Members Member #5 Joined: Mar 10, 2008 XBox Live Gamertag hobbes06 Wii Code 0118 6981 4565 6325	im not too sure on this to be honest. been a pro evo fan for years and i like the fact that they have tried to make a football game on the wii utilising the controls but then again it could fall flat on its face and give the anti-nintendo people more weight behind the its just a gimmick controller. have a look at the videos pro evo 2008 the release date seems to be the 28th of march. i think i'll wait until then and i have read some reviews before i buy this, but if it gets anything above average then i'll definitely give it a try. anyone else looking forward to it?

Contributor Posts: 233 Group: Members Member #5 Joined: Mar 10, 2008 XBox Live Gamertag hobbes06 Wii Code 0118 6981 4565 6325	quick review...awesome but really hard. after years of just pushing buttons though and cutting through defenses its a great addition to the series and once i get used to it im pretty sure i'll be ignoring the 360 update and getting this one. don't get me wrong a few things could be better, the defending is awkward and maybe just because im not used to it feels a little less than stellar. you dont directly control the defender just postion him on the pitch, make him man mark or put pressure on the attacker, but so far it all seems down to luck more than anything else, as i said though maybe when i get the hang of it i'll be drooling over that too as we've come to expect the graphics have been described as ps2.5 which is pretty accurate, but to be honest you spend too much time trying to control one guy while you have your forwards run into space for that killer through ball you don't notice them much. the commentary is well, pro evo commentary so its awful and probably best switched off. haven't tried it online yet to see what lag is like
