Well, the board finally went online today after some glitches here and there. I've had to start learning HTML code all over again... It's just the basic bare bones at the moment and will be developed over the next couple of weeks. The main website to accompany the forum will be added later. And the membership should grow beyond me and Nacho at some point... Finally, the banner in place is just a stop gap. If anyone has any Paintshop skills they want to flaunt then we'd welcome any contributions. |

The Army has grown! We're glad to welcome Hobbes and Spectral from the LRUK. And Spectral has kindly agreed to keep us up to date with all important game related news. We've also added a new section with links to our friends in other clans. |

It's been a good day for the Clan of the Dead. And no one died! We're glad to welcome Chilliflame, Dude, obscurdbyclouds (or lemoncurd by clouds as I like to call him), Puggyz and Violet from the LRUK. You people just can't keep away! Have you thought about seeking serious psychiatric help? A special big shout of thanks to Violet for designing our new banner. We think it looks awesome! Graaaargghhh! Also, finally fixed the problem with adding new theme colours. We should have unique theme soon but in the meantime members now have the choice of the default theme and one other (it's green!). Don't say we're not good to you! Because if you do Spiff will break your thumbs. If you're reading this you should know by now it's not that interesting. Go do something else... |

A quick hello to our new member Infernal Affairs. We thought we were going to have to trick him into thinking this was a Rhianna and Jessica Alba fan site to get him to join. He likes to stay "off the radar"!  As we're trying to be balanced and cover all areas of media and gaming it's maybe a bit much for Spiff and I to keep all the sections alive with info. Spectral already came over to keep the Xbox News up to date so we came up with the idea to have an editor for each gaming section... So we have: Xbox 360: Spectral PS3: obscurd PSP: Spiff Wii: hobbes Other consoles: Spiff As he's gadget obsessed, Infernal has offered to keep the Technology section up to date and post up things like iPhone wallpapers and good gadget deals on Play.com etc. 40 quid for a lightsaber just now! Bargain!  Of course this doesn't mean if you have something to say, ask or report that you have to hold back or contact the section ed. Just post it up there! We'll start really advertising the site tomorrow and hope to draw in new members. Thanks to everyone for their support so far. |

Yep, it's time for more news laced gobshite from me. Is anyone reading these updates? Do you care? Am I talking to myself? Shut it you. Right, we looked at adding a chatroom today but the forum won't support it. Apparently there's one on the way so that'll be nice, won't it? We can all chat and exchange recipes or even organise a game or something... While I try to come up with a unique site theme I've added another one created by someone with more time on their hands than me. Do you like black? Missing the colour scheme of the LRUK forum? Well, just select the theme Black As Night from the dropdown at the bottom of the main page and hey presto and you'll get a black theme that would make Darth Vader feel all cozy. If he wasn't an emotionless cyborg absent-father type. As for new members we're glad to welcome Jess, or Jessibel as he's known (dude, you still have a girl's name! I'll change mine to Mrs Dalekmofo and we can have tea parties and discuss kittens! ). He's another crossover from the LRUK. I'm not sure he wants to be here yet though as he's "NOT A FAN OF CHANGE!!!!!!!" or so he seems to scream at us in his first post like Charlton Heston knee-deep in sand and monkeyshit at the Statue of Liberty. I'll let Spiff explain the reasoning behind this site to you mate...I put an ad on the Xbox Live forums today and some other places so we might get some new recruits that play on all consoles soon. I've also been hanging with the Crazy 88s clan and they'll be over soon to "cause mayhem" and "talk sh*te"...  Anyway, I'm off. It's Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles night and it looks like something might actually HAPPEN in tonights episode... I can't believe you're not shutting up! |

just an idea, if its not too much trouble, a spell check option would be good, since well i dont know about anyone else, but my spelling is awful these days |

Consider it done mate! The board doesn't supply a spellchecker. If you use Mozilla Firefox or the Google Toolbar they have spelling add-ons. However, I've added a spellchecker service from SpellingCow to the site. Just tick the Spell check checkbox below your post and it will check your spelling as you type. The incorrectly spelled words will be highlighted. Just click on them to get a list of possible matches... Hope that helps. |

Not much to report today. Except it's the weekend! Woooo!!! Are we all drunk yet? I know I am!!!  For all you lovers of things black I added a new theme - Dark Wall. Which is pretty dark. And has a wall in it. So the title is good. But none of these are particularly satisfactory if you ask me but seeing as users are apparently quite happy with the default one I won't lose any sleep over it! I also added some submenu links to the big three monster consoles main websites and of curze tha spuellchackerr requstad buy hoobbes. New member alig666 is in da house! Welcome! He had spiff and I scratching our heads as to his true identity before we realised it was Alistair. He's keen on the site as a source of gaming news as he's not too happy with the trade magazines having porn at the end. I know how he feels. I prefer magazines with porn all the way through But seriously, I think it's to protect his young son. Who's the main gamer in the family and by the sound of things could probably easily take us all down in combat games like Steven Seagal on a chocolate milkshake sugar rush. Anyway, have a good weekend folks and see you online soon... |
