Administrator Posts: 310 Group: Admins Member #4 Joined: Mar 10, 2008 XBox Live Gamertag invaderspiff PS3 Username invaderspiff	hey folks! just got out of hospital!! not much fun let me tell you. had what looked like a bug bite on my left forearm on the underside. just a small raised bump i had had for a while. on Monay it was a bit red and sore and as the day wore on it was starting to swell turn red and burn like hell. i didnt sleep the whole night with the pain, was running a fever and shivering sweats. went to A&E around 6am to have it checked out and they were unsure what it was but gave me a dose of anti biotics and i went into work around 9am. i wasnt feeling too good and as the day wore on the pain got worse and i was almost in tears. had to have a word with my boss and explain and was sent home but before leaving the office i called the docs and got an appointment to get it checked again and have a 2nd opinion. got to the docs, she took one looks at it and said "hospital" turns out is was cellulitis which is an infection of the soft tissue. it had tracked upmy entire arm and you could see this red line running straight up and under my armpit. got to the hospital and was looked at by the docs who confirmed the symptoms and explained the only thing to do was to keep me in and dose me with anti biotics via and IV drip. ended up in for 2 nights being hooked up to and IV which wasnt much fun. was in a ward with mainly old men who were hooked up to oxygen and others who kept shitting the bed. one young guy was in with a collapsed lung he wasnt so bad. boring as hell!! night time was terrifying as i wasnt sleeping and i have watched too many horror films to be kept in a hospital! aanyway im rambling on now. i got out yesterday and im now necking oral anti biotics and some heavy painkillers, im pretty off my face hehehhe. on the plus side some young nurses were sweet on me and i was looked after quite well just felt a bit awkward being asked for a urine sample from a hot twenty something nurse.......imean.....how do you look cool and suave in that situation???? anyway im back home and should be back in work as of monday. spending a lot of time on the ps3 and 360 so if anyone wants a game of something give me a shout. peace out bitches.
