Would one still need to have the necessary ranks in Enchantment to actually make use of this perk or is this an exception? |

To actually Enchant them, they would either need to have the Lv. to do so, but the 1/1 Material is an ongoing effect. Note that someone else could do the Enchanting on your arms. |

So I have to dump some Ex into Enchanting so as to actually make proper use of this perk >_>

| Yes, if you want to Enchant your own limbs to get like a Fire Effect. But the perk still allows you to treat your arms like a Lv. 2 Material with 1/1 Strength/Durability. |

| But regarding enchantment, I understand that fire enchantments require Pyrokinetics or Destruction but what would regular stat boosts require? |

You can tie that into Shape-Shifting, changing your muscle shape for Strength, Speed, Endurance boosts, etc. but this would cause an actual physical appearance change. For other stats, perhaps a new branch of Magic can be invented by someone that focuses on stat increases? It can be a part of Restoration or a new branch entirely. |
