Once you have registered your country you are almost required to do the following. I. Research Your Country If you don't know anything about your country, it is highly recommended you learn about it and know its pros and cons before your account gets deleted. Although I am not a big fan of Wikipedia, I do accept it as an information source, but please do be wary of misinformation. One thing I recommend is searching on Google for information on your country in the 11th century A.D. and finding an academic site such as Princeton, Harvard, etc. I think that would be much more acceptable and respectable than Wikipedia. II. Make a Factbook Once you know your country, you are required to make a factbook under the "Glossary" section of the forum. If you do not, prepare to be stripped of membership. The format can be found here. III. Make an Internal Events Thread Country-RPs like these usually have internal affairs thread that catalogue a country's events in it, such as a political scandal, the death of a king, or something as simple as the prices in the market. All internal affairs AND foreign affairs threads go in your country's respective geographic sections on the forum (ex. England goes in the "British Isles" section). Note: I would not allow other players posting in an internal affairs thread. IV. Make a Foreign Affairs Thread Foreign policy, is as important as domestic policy, you can present your RPing in a different number of ways but we recommend simply doing a foreign affairs section of your forum for those emissaries from other players coming in. As players come in and ask for an audience with your sovereign, it is highly recommended that you make a new topic in your section for the meeting. Note: Due to the perilous times in those days, a ruler would never go traveling out of his kingdom. V. Have Fun One you have done all of the above, it's time to roleplay and have some fun. If you need more answers, just search the forum a little bit or ask me a question on the Help Desk of the forum. Thank You for Playing, Charlemagne Creator of A.D.
