FANDOM Original. That's right folks, she's NORMAL. NAME Jolene 'Jollie' Dumoi GENDER Female AGE twenty APPEARANCE Small, pretty, sophisticated; all these words have been used to describe our little Jollie in the past and it isn't false commentary either. She tries as hard as possible to acheive something that even resembles modern fashion. She's done the flaps, she's done the feathers attached to her hats and the beads and her current look: the short and perfectly done hair mixed with red lipsticks. ×HEIGHT 5'1 ×BUILD Tiny ×SKIN TONE Pale and white ×HAIR COLOUR Brown ×EYE COLOUR Brown ×FACE CLAIM Felicity Jones ×ACCENT/PHONETICS A crisp and clean voice with a bit of a ring to it. There's a Southern sound to it that is controlled and hardly noticible unless she calls you 'hon' or 'rosie,' which she occasionally does. HISTORY A small town girl, Jollie (pronounced 'Joe-lee' not 'Joly') was a bit of a tomboy as a child. Though pretty, she wanted to wear shorts in the summertime and ended up having her hair chopped off every summer by her own request so it wouldn't get tangled in the Georgian bushes and trees. Her mother, Amelia, did not approve but was always reassured by Jollie's father, Cornelius, that Jolene would one day out-grow the childish games invented by the children. Though Jo loved her parents, she couldn't say that she didn't sometimes wish she was away from them. Even as she grew and became more girlish and a bit more submissive, she still wanted to be away and independant. It was for that reason that as soon as she graduated high school, she began to journey towards a goal that was unknown. At first, she wanted to be an actress for the stages but when she came upon an actual stage and nearly lost her stomach at that, she decided to set her standards a bit lower. Hitching a train, she went for the first town they stopped in which . . . Didn't work. It was a small town in Colorado where she soon got a job typing when she figured out that she was rather fond of it. Not just typing either, typing up editorials and stories and all sorts of fun things. This was the only good that came from that small Colorado town. Even her best friend, Susan, ended up being bad news after Jol mused about something she honestly shouldn't have been musing about. Three trains and several weeks after quitting her job in Colorado and she, a single 20 year old female, was now in Madswit. She found a home in the tenements and lives in room 004 which is, compared to most of the rooms, nice. She found work as a lobby clerk for a paper of questionable nature and when the money coming in wasn't enough . . . Well, she took a most gracious job offer. ×RELATIONSHIPS She's currently single. OCCUPATION 'Dancer' by night at the Clap Trap and clerk for the Clap by day. PERSONALITY She's always been a bit of a fighter for the downfallen spirit. When the boys teased the girl with the skirts that had been passed down one too many times, she did something about it (normally involving rocks and spitting); when she needed to learn to spell the word elephant else her daddy would give her a spankin' for failing the spelling quiz, she learned it; when she moved as far away from home as she could and found out she had no money at all, she got some. What she's not very good with is being let down. Like when the taunting continued regardless or when she studied for an hour but spelled elephant with a f or when, instead of getting a proper job or a husband, she got 2 jobs, both for places of a questionable nature. She gets rather sulky when things like this happen. Jolene is generally known for being a bit snarky with a wit that is somewhat slower than she would make it seem. She tries to seem smarter but in all actuality, she's pretty normal in the intelligence department. Over the past few months she's been working at the Clap, she's gotten extremely used to raunchy remarks but still gets rather angry when the men bring up the work she did the night before (She works at the Trap all week including weekends while only working at the Clap Mondays through Thursdays). She is known to most of the people in Madswit as Jollie. She is a generally good person with good intent and problems with relationships (her last and only Madswit boyfriend was dumped after seeing him at the Trap . . . And not to see her either) One of the things she's not known for in Madswit is her old musings in church about life's futility or her easily changed mood when around certain other types of people. She's been very optimistic lately, all things considered. ×QUIRKS ×SEXUAL ORIENTATION Heterosexual ×OTHER She expects normality. When she doesn't get it, she freaks out. Reality is a very stable thing for her. She doesn't like it being twisted or redefined in any way. SECRET WORD Your face LIKES
