FANDOM CATS the Musical NAME Mr. Jacob Q. Mistoffelees GENDER Male AGE 39 APPEARANCE Mistoffelees is an unusual creature. Sometimes he is a man, and sometimes he is a cat. He claims to be cat by birth, and to have achieved the appearance of men through his glorious skill at magic. Asa cat, he is slender and small, a black wispy cat with more tail and whiskers than anything else. He is all black except for a white white bib, like the front of a tuxedo, on his chest. His eyes are very green, and often appear to be all there is to him. Just eyes, tail, and long white whiskers. As a man, Mistoffelees looks like a cat. His hair twists down into points at the side of his head, and there is something about the slant of his eyes and the curve of his smile that makes him undeniably feline. The only remaining evidence of his cat identity, is the slightly pointed nature of his teeth, and fuzz at the top of his ears. He walks like a cat, using canes and umbrellas to make up for the lack of tail. ×HEIGHT cat small. human 5'3" ×BUILD cat slender and sleek human Slim, elastic, like a willow shoot. ×SKIN TONE cat Black, with a white tuxedo-like front. human pale. ×HAIR COLOUR both Black. ×EYE COLOUR both Green ×FACE CLAIM Jacob Brent   ×ACCENT/PHONETICS Chirruping meow, like he's always asking a question. Rather quiet. As a human, he has a soft voice with a faint English accent, and again tends to sound as though he's asking a question all the time. HISTORY: Mistoffelees no longer talks about his history. He was born to the Jelicle Cats, in a place around a corner and at the back of a junk yard. After discovering the secret of humanity, he quickly became addicted to the study of humans as an equal instead of as a cat. His interest in the 'pets' as the other cats called them, quickly caused strife between him and his community. When one day a human woman, who had become enamoured of the way he had listened to her without interrupting, followed him back to the Junkyard - the other cats gave Mistoffelees the choice between exploring his human form and leaving the Junkyard, or ceasing his unnatural experiments and staying. Unfortunately, by this time Mistoffelees had discovered that the magic he had been using was not so easily reversed. Despite the inherent and undeniable catness of his nature and heart, he found that he had an increasingly irresistible urge to change shape, a mix of the excitement of the spell and the fascination of his work. Realising that he was endangering his friends and family, he left the Junkyard, and embarked on a journey around Europe practicing as a traveling magician. He has only just arrived in America, in search of new cultures and humans. ×FAMILY MEMBERS Father - Deuteronomy, and old old male cat. Mother - unknown. Siblings - unknown. ×SPOUSE/FIANCÉ[E] None ×LOVE INTEREST None, as of this moment. ×CRUSH None. ×LOVER None - at the moment. ×GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND None - at the moment. OCCUPATION: Magician and Cat PERSONALITY: For a scientifically magical cat, Mistoffolees has the mischief of a demon. In cat form, he loves to watch pet humans incognito and learn all about them, going on to spring little secrets in conversations just for the sheer joy of the expressions on their faces. He is a weird mix of sociable and shy, loving to spend time with humans, but often timid of starting a conversation. A quietly intelligent creature, he always knows far more than he lets on, and quite likes retaining an air of dramatic mystery. He is fiercely loyal to his friends, but it is a long time before he will allow a human the privilege of that title. As a magician, he has an immense dramatic streak, and loves to show off - also possessing that most indispensable of cat virtues, the ego. Probably considered a terrible dandy. ×QUIRKS Cocks his head when listening.
