▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ♠ PLOT ♠ ███████████ It's 1920-something, you surmise, and you're living in the lousiest apartment you could find. Why? Nobody's business but yours. You're here now though, in some vaguely North American town, Madswit. Make of that name what you will. This town doesn't have a whole lot to offer in and of itself. The booze is still illegal, and crime rates are high, but women can vote now, so that's a dandy thing, ain't it? You've got surrealism, art deco, creationism at odds with evolution, Egyptomania, and all that bushwa. What's not to love?  Années Folles is a multi-fandom board, set in a time period approximately between 1920 and 1928. Characters of all kinds may be played here, from virtually any fandom (originals too), as long as they are human, or at least appear relatively human. Animals or other creatures unable to assume a human form probably wouldn't fit in here too well. Additionally, we advise against using any characters from science-fiction, or other futuristic themes, as they may be difficult to transform to fit the era we have here. But we're flexible! |
