Main Characters Name: Jin Miyamoto Age: 15 DOB: 5/29/1993 Gender: Male School: Anime High School Grade: 9th Race: Meta-Human
Appearance/Clothing: Jin isn't a super muscular, well toned physical specimen of Meta-Humanity. He's not extraordinarily tall or strong or anything. He's your average teenager. Standing at about 5'7, he's still growing. When not in uniform, he likes to wear a green hoodie and black jeans. He almost always keeps the hood up, taking it down infrequently. He's considered to be relatively handsome with his natural silver-white hair color and grey eyes. A special note about his hair and eye color is that at his current level of skill, those traits follow him when he turns into most animals. He usually keeps his hair somewhat short, hating long hair, but he likes having it long enough to just barely hang over his eyes, giving him a slight bishie/mysterious effect. The spiked collar he wears is something he got from an old friend before they moved away, and it means a lot to him so he rarely takes it off. For some reason, whenever he changes back from an animal, he'll be wearing whatever he had on before he transformed. Both of his ears are pierced, as is his nose, but he doesn't wear any fancy jewelry, just generic studs to keep the piercings from healing.

Personality: Jin is a very, very easy going individual who tends to prefer to go with the flow rather than fight against the current. Though if he sees something as plainly wrong, he will speak up about it. He's extremely likable, being very nice once you get to know him. He can be a tad on the shy side, especially with people he's never met, but if you start a conversation with him, he can be quite talkative. He doesn't like to fight and doesn't see the point in getting angry, seeing it as a waste of energy and time. And while it's quite rare for him to get angry, when he does, he tends to burn with the fury and intensity of a volcano. He's not one to hold grudges though, so once he's finished being angry, he'll have put it all behind him unless you truly, truly wronged him. He's a bit of a nerd, being very fond of video games and computers. Jin also has an odd quirk of collecting what basically amounts to garbage. Though, it may be trash to everyone else, to Jin it may be something else, something that piques his interest. He's also a bit of an artist, easily found sitting somewhere on campus drawing whatever comes to mind in his notebook. He dreams of one day becoming a zoologist, thanks to his powers. Jin is also very fond of animals, though it helps when he can become one. When it comes to the opposite sex, he's a self-proclaimed sucker for a pretty face. He always finds time to flirt with females, preferring the company of women over that of other guys. A bit of a romantic, he still believes in flowers and candy, corny stuff like that. He's a heavy believer in karma, which is why he always tries to help people when he can, believing that it will come back to him sometime down the line. An agnostic, Jin doesn't belong to any religion, but he respects their beliefs. Bilingual, Jin can speak fluent English and Japanese. Oh and he's terrified of mimes.
Special Powers/Weapons Shapeshifting: Jin has the ability to manipulate his body's cellular structure, mass, and, to an extent, DNA allowing him to transform into any animal he can think of, including people, and anywhere in between human and animal (this does not include mythical creatures). It's not uncommon to see him forgetting to transform completely back into a human, walking around with a tail or something or in combat situations giving himself a set of claws and fangs. He is capable of perfectly mimicking animals, however he cannot copy the powers of Meta-Humans due to DNA issues. On a side note, if he's knocked unconscious, he'll return to his human form with any injuries sustained as an animal remaining consistent with his human form (he breaks an arm as a monkey, the arm will remain broken when he transforms back into a human) unless his human form doesn't have that body part (he gets his tail cut in half or something). Generally, it doesn't take him very long to fully transform, maybe a couple seconds, longer depending on how much bigger or smaller the animal is. To change to just some claws or something doesn't take any time at all, maybe a second or so, since it requires very little alteration of his body. With animals, he can transform just about perfectly, though the fur/feather/scale color tends to be consistant with his hair color (silver-ish). He hasn't hammered that out just yet. With humans and metas, he can get their appearance and voice right, but can't do powers or anything like that. Technically, he could alter his body part way in transforming into a number of animals, however at this point it's too much for his body to handle. He can handle a combo of two at the moment, with three being possible only if he's careful with the animal aspects he chooses. And though he can alter his cellular structure and even his genetic makeup to shift into an animal or person, he cannot shift his structure to make himself younger physically (though he could shift to younger appearance of himself, but he would still be old). Also, at the moment, he cannot manipulate his mass, but with training he could.
Accelerated Healing: Jin's body heals from wounds and illnesses quite quickly, cutting down on his recovery time. Broken bones go from taking weeks to heal to being fully mended within a few short days. Wounds can go from being fatal to being survivable. The power allows him to regrow limbs, but it's a very lengthy and painful process as his body rebuilds the bone, muscles, nerves, etc. Of course this ability has limits as Jin can't regrow his head and if he's wounded badly enough, he'll die just like anyone else. As a general guide, his body heals about 5 times faster than a normal person. History Before Arrival: Jin was born on May 29th, 1993 to a relatively normal family in Kyoto. An only child, Jin never met his father, his father disappearing shortly after Jin's conception. Jin's mother always told Jin that his father died before he was born. In reality, Jin's father left after telling Jin's mother that he was a Meta-Human, leaving her life to try and protect her and his unborn child. Jin never had any reason to question his father being dead, so he never did. To be honest, Jin's life was pretty run of the mill. His mother's family was relatively wealthy and his mother had a good paying job, so while he never lived the privileged life, he was always quite comfortable, going to good elementary and middle schools. He took a few martial arts classes, but he never really got into them, usually quitting after a few months in the program. They aren't exactly sure when Jin's powers first manifested, but his mother started getting concerned when Jin started telling her of his vivid dreams of flying high in the sky or running through the forests late at night. She remembered that his father was a Meta and wasn't sure if Jin would turn out to be one as well. So one night, she watched her son as he slept. Jin's mother was quite surprised when she saw Jin get out of bed, sleep walking, open the window, transform into an eagle, and fly out the window. She followed Jin as well as she could as he flew around the city, only returning home when Jin flew back. The next day, she told Jin about his late night adventure. Jin took it pretty well and with some help stopped his sleep walking and sleep transforming. Conveniently, Jin had just finished his 8th grade year when he received the invitation to AHS. After spending a few months practicing using his power, he was sent to AHS, where he is now.

Name: Ryu Musashi Age: 21 Race: Meta-Human Grade: Graduated Birthday: December 10th
Appearence: Ryu Musashi
After recent events, Ryu left AHS, no longer wearing the modified school uniform, seeing how he no longer has any ties to the school. He underwent a makeover of sorts, putting his trenchcoat away in storage. Now he wears a more casual, human outfit, allowing him to blend in with the rest of humanity.
Personality: After a year of being away from the school, away from fighting, from strife, from violence, and from loss, Ryu has finally found true happiness. He got a job as a dock worker, lives with a kindly old priest and his granddaughter, and has settled down. His mental state has finally caught up with his physical state as the young man has matured and grown up. He has accepted the fact that his family and friends are gone and, with therapy, moved on. However, recently he has been feeling restless, missing the adventures from his youth.
Special Power After being attacked by a Marshal from the Nation of Advanced Humanity, Ryu's powers remanifested themselves. (Note: This section is still under construction)
Creation and Manipulation of Matter: The first of Ryu's original two powers, Ryu has the ability to create matter out of nothing in addition to transforming matter into other forms of matter.
Manipulation of Energy: Ryu's second original power, Ryu has the ability to manipulate the energy within and around him, the most common way being the firing of energy blasts.
The Musashi Family Fighting Style: The entire fighting style revolves around complete and utter randomness. Ryu can use it correctly but seldomly does. It requires the user to completely empty their mind and attack with their instinct to prevent from having their moves read and tracked. Ryu's Grandfather, Misawa "Crimson" Musashi invented this style when he fought Korukushin to counter Korukushin's mind reading power.
History: On December 10th, 1988, Ryu was born to two seemingly normal people who were...normal people. Both of Ryu's parents were normal, everyday humans. However, Ryu's grandfather, Misawa "Crimson" Musashi, was a Meta-Human and in his prime, easily one of Earth's strongest. Crimson was one of the only people who could boast that they not only survived, but were able to fight to a draw against Korukushin. That was when he was a young man; at this point Crimson's best years were behind him, so he was invited by his loving daughter to live with them. Ryu's parents always had trouble making ends meet and with the addition of a son and grandfather, things became more complicated. Matters didn't approve when they adopted the son of their close friends, Kenta. It may not have been wise, but they thought it was the right thing to do. Because of all these mouths in the house and very little income, Ryu's family was forced to live in a shack in the outskirts of Tokyo with many nights, Ryu going to bed hungry. Anyways, growing up, Ryu spent most of his time training under his grandfather along side his adopted brother, Kenta, learning the Musashi Family Fighting Style. Ryu picked up the style quickly, easily mastering it. Kenta eventually mastered it, but it took him a great deal longer due to his tendency to zone out at randomly.
The time Ryu spent training under his grandfather are some of Ryu's favorite memories as he idolized his grandfather, thinking he was the strongest man on Earth. All Ryu ever wanted was to be as great a man as his grandfather. Sadly, Crimson was still an elderly man and he wasn't getting any younger. One day, Crimson fell ill and he never recovered from his illness. However, before he passed away, he gave his trusty trench coat to Ryu. This is why Ryu treasures his trenh coat above everything else and gets quite angry, if not violent, when people touch it or mistreat it. Anyways, Crimson's death sent Ryu and Kenta into a tailspin. Kenta took the death easier, getting permission to leave home to meet with newly discovered family elsewhere in Japan. Meanwhile, Ryu took it the hardest. He would spend days at a time away from home, on the streets of Tokyo, fighting gangs. He was young and angry and he took all his youth rage out on the people around him. However, one day, one of the gangs Ryu had been antagonizing had caught him in a trap. He was overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the group and it looked like he was going to die. That's when his powers manifested. In the blink of an eye, Ryu had destroyed a city block, killing every member of the gang who, just moments before, were about to kill him, along with a number of innocents who were in the area. Ryu himself fell into a coma.
Ryu woke up from his coma three days later, in a hospital bed. The explosion had been blamed on a gas leak. No one ever suspected Ryu of what he did. The day he woke up, his parents were there with a letter from Principal Mori, informing him of what he was (a Meta-Human) and Anime High School. Normally, Ryu's family wouldn't be able to afford to send Ryu to the school, however, due to Ryu's potential, he was given a full scholarship. Anime High proved to be the biggest influence in Ryu's life. His time at AHS would see Ryu: Lose both his parents, gain and lose countless friends and enemies, fall in love, become one of the world's strongest Meta-Humans, travel to many different dimensions and worlds, get married to an alien woman, have a child, kill his teenage daughter, lose his mind and go on an insane killing spree.
Today, Ryu lives in Kyoto with a kindly old priest and his granddaughter. Despite having no need to work (he has a nearly endless supply of funds in his bank account), Ryu still wakes up at sunrise every morning and works at a dock as a manual laborer. However, Ryu's story may not be over just yet...
