The daytime... OF THE NIGHT.
Ooh, Eternal Sunshine... One of my all-time favorites, with Donnie Darko. :D

Last movie I watched (repeatedly) - Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. It's too adorable for me not to love. ^___^

8.5 out of ten... Would be higher, but the fluff-factor is a little overwhelming at times. :3

Teeth: I was at a British Theater and I saw the words "Sexualized Gore"

Indie Horror film/Dark Comedy. Christian girl takes a vow of chastity. Dawn is treated as a haplessly naive girl by every male she encounters; the males are predatory. It doesn't work out well for them, as this girl has reached the next stage of evolution, look up Vagina Dentata.

I loved twisted concept: any film in which a girl graphically chews off guys' junk with her privates is a 'must-see' in my book! We never get to see her "gift" though. This is a cautionary tale, that if you're going to round 2nd base - make damn sure she wants you to.

Watched The Comebacks earlier today and I must say it's probably one of the better recent spoof movies out there. Now I'm not saying it's anything Oscar worthy but it definitely had some honest good laughs. The Comebacks is basically a take on all the inspirational sports movies that have popped up over the past decade like Remember the Titans and Coach Carter. David Koechner (guy from several Will Ferrell movies) does a pretty good job as the head coach but I think Matthew Lawrence makes the movie as the sucky quarterback. Or maybe it's the kid in me that used to watch Boy Meets World that is clouding my judgment. Anyway recommend this is you want something fun and light hearted with quite a few good laughs.

Repo The Genetic Opera

Never in my life have I watched an Opera before. I've seen 2 musicals in my life Sweeney Todd, and Phantom of the Opera. I only liked Sweeney Todd. If only for the music alone, this is a very addictive movie. I'm gonna get the sountrack ASAP. It's a rock opera, hard to describe the genre for the plot. But they are striving to be a cult classic. Highly recommend checking it out.

*pulls out harpoon gun from trechcoat* I said check it out.

Let the Right One In- 8/10:
Fuck Twilight, this is the vampire love story you should watch. It's a very creepy and odd story of a young boy who falls in love with a mysterious girl who turns out to be a vampire. As I said, it's pretty strange, and a tad bit creepy (although I can't say it's scary). Its got great atmosphere and acting, and a pretty good story.
My only real complaint is that it is a bit too slow (but not intolerable). Oh and it has one extremely weird nude scene, it's very brief...but seriously weird. I'm not sure why they included it either, as it raises some questions, but really doesn't add anything to the story.

Apart from that though, this is a great film. If you don't mind slow building vampire stories, I highly suggest you give this film a shot.

Watched Bolt for the third time and well, obviously I really liked it. Disney's best non-Pixar movie in recent years. It has a very predictable premise but that doesn't make it any less fun or addicting. Hey it's for kids but that doesn't mean adults can love it as well. John Travolta and Miley Cyrus actually do a great job as Bolt and Penny respectively with some acting that almost brought a tear to my eye. Honestly one of my favorite kids movies ever. I'd almost place it up there with the Disney classics and the Pixar greats. But while it certainly does make me feel happy and content inside, it just doesn't hit me the same as those ones. And that's the only reason I knocked it down to a:

The kiosk I work at now has a display that plays Bolt all day, so I have now seen this movie entirely 10x through, but still have yet to see it with sound. From what I gather, it would be a really good movie. Maybe I'll find a copy to watch somewhere.

Most recent new movie I've seen lately: Star Trek
As a non-trekkie (and someone who never cared for the series even), this was a really good movie. It's got some good action that is only bad when the camera moves too fast to see everything going on in some of the fights. As for dialogue, it was still very entertaining. One of my friends said it best, "It's Star Trek for our generation".

Watched Drag Me to Hell last week and I must say it was probably the most fun I've had at a horror movie in my entire life. Loved Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy and I must say that this almost lives up to them. Now first you need to know that this isn't an extreme horror movie. You'll be laughing as much as you'll be covering your eyes. Some of the scares are so outlandish that you can't help but crack up. And the scares in the movie are relentless. You think you're safe cause you just got scared, but then it'll hit you again and again. Definitely the most scares per minute in any recent horror movie. Only downside is the only decent acting and the somewhat ludicrous story line, but you'll quickly forget about that once the movie picks up. Definitely a must see for a Raimi fan, Evil Dead fan, or horror fan.
