Friends: Only My Division Members as of Now Pet: Roland Commands are listed below: Zanpakutou's name: Jo'oryu (lit. Queen Dragon) Shi Kai: Zetsumetsu saseru, Jo'oryu! (lit. Exterminate, Queen Dragon) The sword doesn't appear to be all that difference, except around the guard of the blade. Instead of the zanpakutou's normal guard, a golden crown shaped guard appears, two silver ribbons hanging down from it. The ribbons have purpose, however as they serve to directly target the opponent. This allows for distance between me and my opponents, allowing me to instead send a wave of reiatsu at my opponent instead of being forced to fight close range. The crown also has a purpose, as well, being able to extend into spikes to skewer anyone that get close enough, the points of the crown will extend and wind to my whim but takes reiatsu everytime a new 'direction' command is given. Other Shi Kai Abilities: +Kin'iro Meikyu (lit. Golden Labryinth) : Instead of being an actual maze for people to get lost in, it's a maze that will hold me within it, to hide me from others. Though the 'golden maze' is apparent, where I'm at in the maze is not known, even when trying to track me down with kidou or other means. I am still able to attack while in the labryinth, however. +I'm also able to stab the ground and make spikes come up from the ground (similar to Ichimaru Gin's special move in Heat the Soul 4), although the main difference between the two is that where and what length the spikes come up is all controlled by me Ban Kai: Tairyo-gyakusatsu ano taishu, Jo'oryu! (lit. Massacre the masses, Queen Dragon) This form is rarely used, as I rarely have the need to use it, since my Shi Kai is more than enough to finish off my opponents. The sword takes on its ultimate form as a giant, but slender dragon. The dragon itself has black scales and golden yellow eyes with two horns atop its head. We are able to fight separately, with the dragon roaming in the air above me. My blade changes into a large broadsword and I am granted a knight's armor. While in her true form, Jo'oryu is able to extrude poison from her mouth and nostrils (an ability similar to Mayuri's zanpakutou). The masterful dragon is also able to shoot massive beams of reiatsu from her mouth. The outer skin of the dragon is too tough to be cut by anyone's zanpakutou and mosts people's Shi Kai will only cause a light scrape against one of the scales, which will only tickle her. If you're going to come at this Ban Kai, make sure you're at least in Ban Kai mode. Other Ban Kai Abilities: +Ryu Shinseki (lit. Dragon Family) : This generally comes out when using Ban Kai, especially so when the battle becomes more intense. A variety of dragons randomly surround Jo'oryu. They usually consist of dragons which surround her and dragons that will attack for her. Members of the Dragon Family: -Kankyohakai (lit. Destruction of the environment) : Can destroy, alter, or change the environment around the battlefield for whatever is best suited for Jo'oryu or the other Ryu Shinseki that are around (Shows up only when needed) (Each Hogosha dragon appears like this, with slight variation on the color on their chests) -Hogosha Ichi (lit. Guardian One): Those in the "Hogosha" family are all black dragons (similar to Jo'oryu) who's sole purpose is to attack the enemy. The Hogosha dragons are all male. (Very commonly show up) -Hogosha Ni (lit. Guardian Two) -Hogosha San (lit. Guardian Three) -Hogosha Yon (lit. Guardian Four) -Saegiru Ichi (lit. Block/Interrupt One) : The two Saegiru dragons are often seen swarming around Jo'oryu herself, blocking any attack which comes near her even if sacrificing themselves in the process. Saegiru Ichi returns to the battlefield faster thatn Saegiru Ni. Saegiru Ichi is a green dragon while Saegiru Ni is gold and blue (Very commonly show up) -Saegiru Ni (lit. Block/Interrupt Two) -Genkaku (lit. false optical impression) : One of the two dragons that shows up by itself. Can create any illusion within its grasp. Genkaku is larger than Koji (see below) but smaller than Jo'oryu or any of the other dragons. Even Genkaku's skin and scale appearance don't seem to be real. -Koji (lit. orphan) : Koji was abandoned ages ago until Jo'oryu took him under her wing. Koji considers Jo'oryu to be his mother and Jo'oryu considers Koji her son. Although Koji is by far the smallest dragon in the bunch (smaller than even Jo'oryu's head) his power is far greater than any single one of them. He can fire off cero-like blasts. He, however, has no armor or thick skin with which to protect him. It's fair to warn that if Koji is messed with or harmed, Jo'oryu shows no mercy. Other Abilities: [link to Katana Kubikazari pic] Katana Kubikazari (lit. Sword Necklace) : There are eight swords which needs to be completed for this set, with each sword's hilt having dragons wrapped around them and securing around her neck, becoming a 'sword necklace' of sorts. This is by far Jo'oryu's strongest and ultimate form. She will also have a total of eighteen wings (her two original wings, plus two more wings for each sword on the necklace) on her entire body. Her form (and the necklace) only comes about when the other dragons (Koji in particular) are in extreme danger. If Jo'oryu gains more than four sets of wings, she becomes next to impossible to control and will seek destruction of ANYTHING nearby at all costs. Anytime Kankyohakai changes the environment, the types of dragons that can appear also alters. Such as the "sand dragons/skull dragons" that appear when the field is a desert area: Or if the area is sea and the sea/water dragons emerge: Character History: Fanatic Taichou's true name is not known, though her nickname throughout the academy was "GF" and when she became a captain, she became known as "Ms. Fanatic" and "Fanatic Taichou". As a human she led an ordinary life, nothing special, and in fact rather secluded as she had only one friend. She died protecting that friend. You see, GF was attending an event that her friend was against. She apologized to her friend but her friend wouldn't listen. Her friend ran off, storming through an intersection where a bus was coming. GF shoved her friend out of the way, getting hit by the bus and dying almost instantly. Her spirit lingered in the human world, not wanting to leave her family and friend. She somehow managed to escape and hide from the Hollows that normally ran throughout the town. It is perhaps due to the fact that she was able to linger so long, to hold onto her thoughts, that she still retains the memory of how she died and of the faces of her family and friend. Although it was later revealed that the family she knew wasn't really her family at all. She was the daughter of nobles, but wasn't the son, the 'heir' they sought. Her parents passed it off as a 'miscarriage' while she was left abandoned, where the parents she came to know found her and cared for her as their own. The only thing left from her life as a noble was the blanket she was wrapped in and shards she was given. These shards allow the sealing away of power or, if it doesn't seal completely, the reduction in one's power. Due to her being declined her lineage, it takes a great deal of her reiatsu and overall life force for them to work properly. However, she was eventually spotted by a shinigami and sent to Rukongai. Even though she managed to wind up in one of the better districts, she didn't want to remain in the shabby towns. And so she immediately entered into the shinigami academy. Many people didn't take her seriously, as she was just a teenager but her skills trampled down any mystery about her entrance into the academy. She was the best in her class at everything from kidou to hand to hand combat to simple knowledge about Soul Society and its workings. It's because of this that many people compared her to Hitsugaya Toushirou, captain of the 10th Division, as he was called a 'genius'. Normally people are randomly assigned to a division, but she was given a choice of divisions she would like to serve in. In fact, upon leaving the academy, she joined with several divisions for short time periods including the 4th, 6th, 11th and 12th Divisions. None of the divisions suited her so she went to see Yamamoto Taichou and submitted a proposal for a new division, her own 14th Division. It took a long time but her request was granted. Naturally she wanted her vice captain to be someone she knew and trusted, so she requested her academy buddy, Joe, to be her vice captain. She set out as the captain with one vision in mind: to create a division that's strong and sticks together...and a division which was good at more than just swordsmanship. This is why she trains each member, or has other members train the new members, up one seat. Meaning that a 4th seat in her division would have the strength of a 3rd seat or higher in any other division. She also treats each new member equally. This is why she likes to meet each new member and remember them. Each member is important to her and nobody gets left behind, nobody gets left unnoticed, everyone has their job. She is also a proud member of the Shinigami Women's Association. She also saved Roland from impending death and ever since he's been incredibly loyal to her, so much so to become her pet. It has been revealed, as she was searching for her birth parents, that she was due to be married to a man over twice her age before she was even born. That man declined the throne and wrote stories about her true lineage and was then murdered. She sought that man, if only to find out the location of her true parents. That's when the man told her what her true name was, Gurenna Fujiyama. Her instincts being called "GF" weren't that far off after all. (note: Gurenna can mean 'crimson' or 'crimson lotus flower', a strange coincidence to her Shi Kai and Ban Kai commands, "Exterminate" and "Massacre the Masses", respectively, both implying spilling blood). It was this man that then taught her the basics of the dragon arts. GF and Jo'oryu have secretly been working on a secondary form for her Ban Kai. It was finally achieved in a battle against Roland for the first time. The command is "Kuru saki ni, enjo watashitachi, Kuru saki ni, tsukaihatasu, watashiatchi jinsei, watashitachi chikara, Arawareru, Shinsei Ryu..." (Come forth, aid us, Come forth, Consume us, Our Life, Our power, Emerge, Holy Dragon...). This grants Jo'oryu her secondary form (her long, slender body) but also with armor (previously not granted to her in her secondary form) and it also makes the iron armor around GF even more powerful. A new set of dragons is also able to emerge along with the old ones. The new dragons that emerge are a factor of 100 times stronger, however. The only dragons (not shown due to page stretching) revealed in the new form are the Platinum and Titanium dragons, who are granted with armor like Jo'oryu's: Also given events, a new, tiny dragon emerged named "Naosu" (lit. heal/cure) A "King Dragon" has also been revealed when she has the espada kanji "mask" ("mizaru, kikazaru, iwazaru", literally "don't see, don't hear, don't speak". Granting her the nickname M.K.I., abbreviations for this saying) Jo'oryu History: Jo'oryu's true name is Sasaki Yakimoto. Once a former queen with a tragic past. Koji came by to see her almost everyday, all the time bringing her small gifts. He was an orphan and couldn't afford anything so he'd bring her a flower or something he made. Jo'oryu felt so close to Koji, in fact, that she took him in as her son. The council was against the idea completely, which eventually caused them to hunt her and the child down. Her loyal guardians and protectors all tried their best but were overwhelmed and killed. The men then forcibly took Koji from her arms, forcing Sasaki to watch the murder of the child before she, herself, was murdered. It is thought that the Ryu Shinseki are the spirits of those that tried to protect her that day, reincarnated into dragons as they were not able to rest in peace without protecting their beloved queen while Sasaki herself became Jo'oryu, the queen dragon. It's also thought that due to what happened to her previously, she has a "perfect defense" when it comes to battle (when GF's life seems to be in danger, Jo'oryu takes over her body and cannot be attacked). Breaking Jo'oryu's perfect defense, is what allowed GF to attain Ban Kai. Copied from 14th Division Office (c) GFanatic
