The sections Astronomy picture of the day, The Solar System and its exploration and Beyond the Solar System are special sections where only publishers may start new threads. The reason for this is that they are sections for news and information and usually contain such a large amount of threads that it's hard enough to keep them ordered as it is, without member-created threads. You can still reply to every thread in there, though, unless, of course, it's closed (the little circle at the left of the thread is red for closed threads and black/grey for open threads). In every other section, including More astronomy, you can start as many threads as you wish. Happy posting! |

That strange thing...

Of course, if there is something you would like to see posted in the section; or if you have your own article that you think would be relevant and informative on something the publisher of that section has either not got to yet/thought of yet or glossed over briefly and not gone into depth on then feel free to pm them your ideas and articles and they will be more than happy to fufil requests or publish your work (acknowledging you as the writer of course). We don't bite- promise. |
