THE "NO SEXTING ACT OF 2007"

SECTION I.
Whereas, many teenagers are sexting. Sexting refers to the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronically, primarily between cell phones. Up to 20% of teenagers admit to sexting. Whereas, texting nude photos of one's self is against the law and considered child pornography. Whereas, any child under 18 shall not view, send, or exploit sexual photos.

SECTION II.
Whereas the sentencing for a sextor under the age of 15:
Probation, Warning, Automatic placing on sex-offender list.
Fine of $250

Whereas the sentencing for a sextor under the age of 30:
Shall receive a automatic place on their local sex offenders list, and shall pay a fine of restitution to the courts in their local, county, municipal jurisdictions.

Whereas any sextors over the age of 30 shall receive:
$Fine of 1000
And at least 1 year of jail time in their jurisdiction.

1. Any adult pressuring or forcing a person to sexting will be treated as a sexual offender and given a imprisonment sentence of at least 5 years.

SECTION III.
Whereas if any adult sextor "sex-texts" any child under the age of 18 shall receive automatic place on the sex offender list, and shall receive at least 5 years of jail, or prison time depending on their local judges, or arbitrators.

Whereas, any sextor shall receive a spot on the national sex offenders' list as well.
PASSAGE UPON 1/2 MAJORITY OF HOUSE AND SENATE, THEREAFTER GOVERNOR'S SIGNATURE:
