Americans Begin to Lose Trust in House Democrats
Citizens are sick of petty fighting between Khan and Bonilla

Washington, D.C. - It all started just a few days ago, but Americans are already getting tired of it. In what could be a major roadbump for his campaign, presidential candidate T.J. Bonilla attacked Speaker of the House Imran Khan for having a presidential candidacy while also filling his role as Speaker of the House. He joined several prominent Republicans, but no Democrats, in criticizing Khan's campaign. Asking "how is he able to sever (sic) you the people as speak (sic) when he is going all over this nation trying to run for president?" Bonilla was the first Democratic presidential candidate to attack an opponent. This comes despite an alleged agreement between Speaker Khan and Representative Bonilla saying that neither candidate would attack the other.

In his speech in Washington, D.C., Bonilla told his supporters that "I did not try to get a high position because I knew I wouldn’t be able to give those positions all my attention." The only problem with his words is that he is currently serving as Chairman of the Domestic Affairs committee in the Senate. This has led to people questioning his ability to serve in that role, since he explicitly said that he would not be able to give any high positions his attention. Calling for him to resign at a recent speech, 18 year old Democrat Jacob Daniels told us that "Bonilla is in no position to be criticizing Khan when he himself holds a similar, and despite his thoughts, important, position." Adding on, Daniels noted that this is his "first election as a voter," and that he "suddenly understands why so many people stay home on election day."

Depending on how Khan had decided to handle the situation, this could have ended very badly for the Bonilla campaign. Since Khan decided to just fire back with his own, childish, immature attacks urging citizens that they "please don’t vote for Bonilla," this could just prove to be one attack in a long, tiring, Democratic primary.
