![]() Brussels, Belgium - NATO announced today its findings that the Iranian government is supplying Iraqi militants with a number of powerful weapons, including but not limited to Katyusha rockets. ![]() This troubling news, which confirms thoughts that Iran is silently fueling the conflict in Iraq and prolonging it, brings even more to worry about for the Bush Administration. Iran, they claim, already has the capability of producing nuclear weapons, although the country denies this claim, saying that its nuclear program is for solely peaceful purposes. In a press release, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer confirmed these reports and said that NATO expresses its deepest wish that this can be resolved peacefully without a further threat to stability in the middle east. |
