240 killed on market bombing
This Tuesday, 240 Iraqi civilians were killed as an insurgent group ripped a blast through a market in south-western Baghdad. Iraq has reached a level of violence not seen since the start of the war.

Attack in Baghdad leaves 20 dead
Once again another terrifying attack in the capital of Iraq. The toll is about 400 wounded and 70 killed, several US Marines were also killed.

Two bomb explosions in Mosul, Kurdish-Sunni tension
Two bomb explosions racked the city of Mosul yesterday, an estimated number of 24 civilians, 12 police, and 6 marines were killed. On the other hand, Sunnis and Kurds are fighting over perceived oil supplies in northern Iraq, although the fighting is not violent but civil.

Attack in Afghanistan, Kabur region
10 American marines and several NATO officers died today as several dozen militants attacked them with a well-arranged weaponry. There has been little comment on the huge assault by the military yet.

Market bomb in Mosul
Several bombs exploded at a street market in Mosul, killing several hundred people and 23 marines.
