Consequence: Party Rebellion

Democrats around the country are furious at the defection of three top-ranking Democrats from their party, Thomas Pratt, Chelsea Evans, and Will Sauthoff, including also Sean Sauthoff.

Hundreds of Democratic party leaders are expressing outrage at the defection of Chelsea Evans, the party's own chairman from the political group, many are taking to the streets, protesting at their congressional offices. One protester even was arrested by D.C. police for illegally trying to bomb the office of Thomas Pratt, professing to the congressman's extreme unpopularity in many political circles.

While Pratt may be taking much of the anger, all of the rebels are being targeted at politically, personally, and financially. In interviews conducted by CNN and NBC, dozens of voters who voted along party lines are furious at Rudy Thompson's switch to the Democratic Party, this has severely hurt his chances at his gubernatorial race in South Carolina, where he was expected to win as a Republican in a solid conservative state.

More anger is pointed at Sean Sauthoff, an actual standing governor of Pennsylvania who was admired by Democrats for working against election fraud on both party lines by putting measures to stop gerrymandering and redistricting by ruling parties in his state. Now, his switch to the little-known Modern Whig Party has prompted the Pennsylvania Democratic Party caucus to declare a "ALL NAY" on his bills that he proposes, which will probably herald the end of Sauthoff's governorship.

Will Sauthoff, a relative of the governor's, has gotten less publication as a defect because of his relative unknown in Congress.

Consequences
Sean Sauthoff loses support of the Democratic Party, so any one of your bills will be voted down, I suggest you either switch back or have to face resignation.

Chelsea Evans will not be getting funds from the Democratic Party, most of her bills should be voted down in Congress and her salary as DNC Chairman cut, she will also be unable to attract big crowds for rallies and protests.

Rudy Thompson will lose his race for Governor of South Carolina.

Challenge: Education Vouchers

Nancy Knox, a 42-year old mother from Nashville, Tennessee, has just sent her special-needs son to a well-known private school that helps children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. Although the tuitiion is somewhat affordable, she needed much financial help for her son, and she got it using a government program called education vouchers, where the tuition is paid by the government using taxpayer money.

Before going to the Learning Hook school, Knox sent her son to a local public school where he made bad grades and was bullied by other classmates for his disability, "It was hell", said Knox, reminiscing about the experience, "I'm glad my son is getting a quality education out of that horrible academy."

Education vouchers, while they do some good, are widely criticized by teacher unions and state governments as stealing money from failing schools that need propping up. The debate on school vouchers is complex and there is a divide in both parties about it.

Challenge
For Congressmen: Sponsor legislation or campaign against or for school vouchers, you will get $20,000 for your service by groups on both sides.

Challenge: Abortion Case

Hundreds of pro-choice supporters have been furious with the recent dealings of the Roman Catholic Church concerning pro-life stances.

Just recently, a 10-year old girl raped by her stepfather was excommunicated from the Catholic Church for trying to have an abortion, instead she had the babies and gave birth to twins. The doctor who encouraged her was also excommunicated, the rapist was not. This case has been severely condemned by pro-choice groups and there have been protests around Washington D.C. calling on more legal adoption acts.

Challenge:

Congressmen who vote on abortion bills get better popularity ratings with the pro-choice lobby.

Mayors who enforce legal abortion have a better chance of re-election.

Governors making pro-choice laws are more popular especially in liberal states.

DNc leaders who act on this, through a rally, making a pro-choice bill, or participating in a protest, will get $50,000

Clinton endorses Bonilla

Bill Clinton, the former President, has officially endorsed TJ Bonilla for his presidential campaign. The news comes when the Democratic Party is in a fallout due to the exits of Governor Sean Sauthoff, congressman William Sauthoff, and former DNC Chairman and Congresswoman Chelsea Evans. This vacuum has left Benjamin Thomas as the chief player within his party and many wondering when the bruising campaigns between TJ Bonilla and Imran Khan will end, although the candidates have said nothing of each other negatively, there has been huge tension within the party.

Clinton's endorsement of Bonilla has shown signs that the Congressman is widely supported within his own party, although that does not signal that Imran Khan will be losing. This pledge of support is extremely influential and beneficial for Bonilla's campaign. On his endorsement of Bonilla, Clinton explained "I really appreciate everyone else who is running, but TJ is a good leader and a good man, he follows his heart and understands the American people. My type of guy."

Spartanburg, South Carolina - Representative Rudy Thompson, formerly a Republican, announced today that he would be switching his party affiliation and would therefore become a Democrat. The reasons for his sudden change of heart are unknown, but speculators and political pundits claim that they may be related to the Democratic majority in the House or the likelihood of a Democratic President following the 2008 elections.

While he said in a press release that none of his policies had changed, and that only his party affiliation had, many of the people he was elected to represent aren't so sure. "We elected him with an 'R' next to his name," said trucker Zack Hudgins, a resident of Greenville. "And now he's gone and switched that affiliation, leaving the people who elected him behind," he continued. Hudgins also echoed the call of local Republican leaders for Thompson to resign, claiming that "Representatives are elected to represent the people who voted for them. He's shown us that he's not interested in doing that."

Americans Begin to Lose Trust in House Democrats

Americans Begin to Lose Trust in House Democrats
Citizens are sick of petty fighting between Khan and Bonilla

Washington, D.C. - It all started just a few days ago, but Americans are already getting tired of it. In what could be a major roadbump for his campaign, presidential candidate T.J. Bonilla attacked Speaker of the House Imran Khan for having a presidential candidacy while also filling his role as Speaker of the House. He joined several prominent Republicans, but no Democrats, in criticizing Khan's campaign. Asking "how is he able to sever (sic) you the people as speak (sic) when he is going all over this nation trying to run for president?" Bonilla was the first Democratic presidential candidate to attack an opponent. This comes despite an alleged agreement between Speaker Khan and Representative Bonilla saying that neither candidate would attack the other.

In his speech in Washington, D.C., Bonilla told his supporters that "I did not try to get a high position because I knew I wouldn’t be able to give those positions all my attention." The only problem with his words is that he is currently serving as Chairman of the Domestic Affairs committee in the Senate. This has led to people questioning his ability to serve in that role, since he explicitly said that he would not be able to give any high positions his attention. Calling for him to resign at a recent speech, 18 year old Democrat Jacob Daniels told us that "Bonilla is in no position to be criticizing Khan when he himself holds a similar, and despite his thoughts, important, position." Adding on, Daniels noted that this is his "first election as a voter," and that he "suddenly understands why so many people stay home on election day."

Depending on how Khan had decided to handle the situation, this could have ended very badly for the Bonilla campaign. Since Khan decided to just fire back with his own, childish, immature attacks urging citizens that they "please don’t vote for Bonilla," this could just prove to be one attack in a long, tiring, Democratic primary.

Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi still alive after airstrike US military says

Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, is still alive, says US military commander, David Petraus. The news came after an airstrike in November of 2006 left many thinking that Al-Qaeda's commander in Iraq was dead, but not so. In a video released this month, Al-Zarqawi said to his fellow "fighters" that he was still alive and would continue fighting against the American crusader in Iraq.

This development has scared many Americans already frustrated with the Iraq war, to directly denounce it. One man in Missouri, Adolph Foster, has called the military a "failure in killing a top-level enemy commander".
