Endy hadn't really gotten used to this place yet, but he was wearing his bookbag, and several notebooks. Pencils of all sizes and descriptions were inside his pockets and his bag. All kinds of colors, all sorts of hardness. The mainly-empty books themselves are as schizophrenic as the pencils, some spiral-bound, some leather. Some were pretty much Moleskines.

His eyes scanned around the city as a whole, making notes of locations with the knowledge that they might not be there tomorrow. His headache had faded and he was debating staying out at least part of the night. Maybe he and Belle would be able to help. He didn't know for sure yet.

But there were people. And he watched them.

Novaix sighed and put his hands behind his head, looking around the street with indifference. He was considering going off to train on some wild Pokèmon, but just didn't really have the motivation right now. There was plenty of time on his hands later, anyway.

He idly stared up at the sky watching Tonyaro speeding around, exercising his wings. Tonyaro was feeling somewhat energetic, but was content practicing his flight patterns and speed for now. That was good, thought Novaix. At least one of us isn't too bored.

Novaix sighed again and slumped down on a nearby bench, focusing individually on random members of the crowd, wondering if he could be bothered meeting someone for once.

The insect was not doing much damage, nor was it overmuch in the way. But it was still a chest-height insect monster with blades on its primary appendages. Compared to a knee-height plant with a temper, it was pretty obvious that there would be trouble. Trouble that might invoke the zero-tolerance policy. Then again, New Haven was small. And the City was large enough. Endy's voice was low, but somehow had a quality that made it audible over the crowd. His eyes locked first on Tonyaro, then on its trainer. His voice was hollow, lacking something in emotion without losing it in force in his monotony. It was not by any means a pleasant voice to hear, when seen spoken by a teenage boy with narrowed eyes. "Get that insect out of my way, or meet me outside New Haven in ten minutes."

The ultimatum was clear, and Endy had every intention on following through on it. His mind was made up about this one and his sketching had stopped, momentarily.

Novaix blinked a few times, frowning and thinking intensely. After a few seconds of careful thought, he lazily rolled his head to the side to stare at some teenage punk. Mind, this 'punk' was about the same age as him, but Novaix tends to view people as younger than they are. Or, well, viewing himself as older. More mature. You know. So, Novaix viewed him with the same view you'd view chores or school or something equally boring and tedious. He slowly extended his hand to the air and shook it erratically. Tonyaro's eyes dashed down, and he hovered down to meet his master, who by this time had managed to haul himself off the bench.

He folded his arms in a way that appears similar to ancient Egyptian mummies, but hey, this way gravity didn't get annoying, and then he walked over to Endy.
Never heard Tonyaro called an insect before. Don't quite know what to make of it. Novaix then put his hands behind his back and leaned on a nearby tree on the nature strip. Tonyaro stared between the trainers. Why couldn't he just continue flying around? He wasn't bothering anyone that high in the crowd...

Tonyaro tends to forget he can't hear too well...

Endy was not what one would have considered "compassionate" in a situation like this. The bug-like monster had annoyed him for no very good reason and since his Belle ate insects when given the option to do so. So he stood and watched Novaix and Tonyaro. He started to turn away, shrugging when about to go on his merry way, offering no words to Novaix.

OOC Note: Sorry this is so short, I had to post on my girlfriend's iPod Touch.

Novaix became alert at the figure's motions. He figured, using his incredibly fine-tuned interpersonal skills, that from this somewhat annoying trainer's actions, appearance, and speech, he was a fairly studious, yet confident, type. He doubted such a person would abandon a research site, or whatever he was doing here, from only such a minor inconvenience. Not only was Tonyaro fairly high in the sky, someone like this would probably be more willing to fight him and request that he leave. Novaix raised an eyebrow at the figure walking away.

'Hey, you. You going to actually fight, or are you just a theoretical trainer? Doesn't too well for your reputation to run away from a fight you started. I'm sure from the proud way you carry yourself that it's something that matters to you, even a little.'

Novaix sneered at the trainer before him. He took the time to tilt his hat down, and got off the tree, taking a few slow steps.

'Or was it that you were heading over to The Trail now? Shows what you know, you're going the wrong way.'

Tonyaro looked on as his trainer talked to this other trainer. He could tell that they were hostile towards each other. He couldn't even see the enemy trainer's Pokèmon anywhere. Maybe it was something big and destructive he couldn't bring to the city or something. It could even-oh, no, wait. He saw it now, it's some lousy twig. It was probably only as long as his leg, except as thin as the flesh on his arms. Except for the head. It's like some sort of disproportionate FREAK.

Hhhey! Youhh louhhsy twig thhhing! Rehhhckon you're strohhng enoughhh to tahhke me ohhn? Ai couhhld prohhbably slaice youhh in hhhalf with one ohhf thhe clawhs ohn mai feet!

The trench-coated trainer folded his arms, raised an eyebrow and smirked, and his weaponised dragon-bug kicked off with needless force and hovered in the air, his feet at about head-height.

Belle's retort was a simple one to Tonyaro, her voice as regal as her bearing. "You would have to hit me first. For you, that is a simple impossibility."

Endy smirked and folded his arms over his chest, turning back to the other trainer. His face had actually changed into something devious and sly, the hunter placing himself before his prey. He shrugged lightly, his shoulder movement not changing the look on his face while he remained silent. Belle stepped to his side and waited patiently for orders. They both remained silent now, waiting, daring the others to step up to them, to bring the challenge forward. They didn't actually have a type advantage here, but poisonpowder would hurt it, and Belle was more than capable of evasive maneuvers.

Following the shrug came a solid stare, waiting patiently for Novaix to move.

Tonyaro widened his eyes somewhat, his wings abruptly stopping their rapid motion, a resounding thump as he landed on the floor. He stared dumbfounded for a while at the Bellsprout. His eyes visibly blinked with feeling a few times, and then a wide, killer grin slid across his draconic face. His teeth separated leaving a thin gap as he drew breath thinly and erratically as if he were choking. Tonyaro opened his mouth wide and inhaled, slowly closing his eyes and turning his head to the sky. He took one last breath inwards, and exhaled violently, laughing insanely and holding his scythes outwards.

'ThhhAHAHHHAA! Youhhve no ideahh whho youh're tahlking thoo!' Tonyaro crouched as he said those last words, and, crying out, kicked off, cracking the pavement. He dashed straight into the sky, and slowly turned around to come down to the surface to somewhere down the end of the street in the distance. After a slight pause, he sped down the street, laughing in the moment he was close enough to be heard.

'It looks like Tonyaro's eager to get to the fighting. Your Bellsprout must have really amused him to get him like this.' Novaix adjusted his trenchcoat and turned around dramatically, and pointed off into the distance. 'That mountain trail. I'll meet you by that dead tree. And if you don't show up, well... Tonyaro's quite persistent. He's bound to find you outside the city eventually.

The trainer adjusted his trenchcoat for like the 4th time this conversation, and started to walk away, Tonyaro landing gently besides him and walking alongside, chuckling and wiping his eyes with the back of his arm.
