[tab-class=profile-info][tabsection][tabs] [tab=Appearance] ![]() Hitoki reaches in at a tall six feet and four inches (tall compared to the rest of his family) and appears to be made of lean muscle. His figure is trim and trained, obtained through years of dancing and working out. He is extremely proud of his physique and will train endlessly with his pokémon to keep both himself and them fit. Because of this, there is not an ounce of fat on him and he often proudly displays his well toned form with tight fitting shirts (most often unbuttoned enough to show off his chest if he feels like it, which tends to be on warm days so he can use the excuse of it being too hot). Toki's hair used to be long, sweeping in soft waves around his face, the ends resting just short of his thighs when wet; he recently cut it shorter to keep it more under control. He rarely grooms it, simply running a comb through it to get rid of any knots and then letting the wind do as it will with it. This sometimes makes his hair look shorter as it is windswept and laying all over the place. The colour is black naturally, but he tends to dye it alot. His left eye is somewhat lighter than his right, revealing his visual impairment. He often covers this eye with a patch to hide the scar as he believes it makes him look revolting. When it comes to attire, Hitoki has the same liking for dark clothing as his twin and will more than likely not pick out an outfit in black or a dark gray. His preferred style is a black (or white) vest or short sleeve shirt that cuts low enough to show the curves of his chest muscles. He likes to add a black waistcoat from time to time over this to contrast if he is wearing a white shirt. Black pants or stonewashed jeans accompany this, usually with a chain that connects to his belt and holds the pokéball of his starter in a silvery cage-like contraption so he can reach it easier. His belt has several indentations where his other pokéballs clip for easier access than being in a bag or pocket. To finish off his attire, Toki usually sticks to dark trainers for comfort and running and a black jacket for cooler weather. He sometimes accessorizes with a black and gray checked tie and wristcovers, along with a black bandana. Just as with Seraria, Toki also has a somewhat decorated body. Over his left eye is a scar that runs from just below his hairline to halfway down his cheek. Three piercings adorn his right ear; two hoops through the lower and a single gold cuff through his cartilage. The left bears two lobe piercings, one silver, the other gold. To finish off his similiarities to his twin, an inked black dragon spreads along his left lower, outer forearm. A similiarly styled decoration covers the left side of his chest. The dragon is almost identical to the one on Seraria's hip. Hitoki's body bears one more tattoo; a pawprint on his right wrist that he got when he first turned nineteen (it looks alot like a growlithe pawprint, showing his bond and love for his original starting pokémon).[/tab] [tab=Biography] Hitoki grew up with a breeder mother and a trainer father alongside his twin sister, Seraria. From a young age he was expected to follow in his father's battling footsteps and at the age of ten, was given a newly hatched pokémon as a present. This was his father's way of bringing him into the ways of pokémon and battling; Toki was forced to train the poor Growlithe every day until both pokémon and trainer were exhausted. This wasn't the life Toki wanted, nor did he want to force the little puppy to work so hard. Yet he had no choice. His father was an overbearing man and Hitoki was nothing but a child. What could he do? For the next five years, Hitoki trained hard with his Growlithe (by then they had decided to call her Candere), increasing her strength and speed alongside Hitoki's own. They formed a bond so inseperable that they could easily read each other's body language. Rarely apart, the duo would even spend the night beneath the stars together, Candere listening intently to the fairytales Toki would tell her every night. Though he resented his father for the way he forced them to train, Hitoki was grateful for him bringing the adorable growlithe into his life. However, everything changed when Hitoki and Seraria reached eighteen. Both twins inked their bodies and pierced themselves, causing their father much disappointment. On top of that, Aria left the family daycare, frustrated by their father's behaviour. Their father therefore turned his rage onto Toki in the form of severe training regimes. After a month, his father began to insist Candere evolve. Neither Candere nor Hitoki liked this idea and ran away that night, fleeing as far as they could. Toki knew he'd have to go back to at least say goodbye to his mother... yet he couldn't take Candere back there. He made a choice. The most heartbreaking decision he had ever had to make in his life. As the sun began to set, he held Candere's pokéball before her and told her they had to part. Candere didn't understand as he explained how his father would force her to evolve by using the firestone he had obtained for her himself. Toki didn't want that to happen. Candere refused to leave, even though Toki tried to push her away, tears falling freely from his dark blue eyes. Promising he would one day return for her, Hitoki smashed the Poké Ball with all his force and turned his back on his best friend, running before she could follow. Candere, heartbroken at having to leave, wandered into the wild, never to see her trainer again. Toki didn't return home that night; instead he spent it beneath the stars, high in a tree. He felt empty with Candere. It was as if a piece of him was missing. He didn't go back for her, however. If he did, his father would just force her to evolve and that wasn't what Candere wanted. Next morning, he made his way back home. On the way, he came across an injured nidoran. It was smaller than average and bore several painful looking gashes along it's flank. Natural instincts kicking in, Toki picked up the injured nidoran, intent on taking it back home to tend to it. However, an angry Zangoose burst through the brush and attacked the Nidoran again, knocking it unconscious. The Zangoose was so full of rage that Toki was certain it was aiming to kill the poor male nidoran. Instincts took over and he threw himself over the Nidoran, shielding it from the Zangoose's fury, recieving a nasty gash down his back. Enraged further, the Zangoose lashed out again, scoring a hit across the boy's face, blinding his left eye. Still, Toki refused to let the Zangoose get to the Nidoran. The wrath-filled pokémon raised it's claws again and was about to deliver another blow when a small yellow mouse rocketed it out of nowhere, taking the Zangoose off it's feet and ploughing it into a tree where it lay unconscious. The pichu turned to Toki and he recognized it immediately. Seconds later, his mother came into view and with the aide of her Jynx, she took Toki and the injured Nidoran home. It took several months for his eye to heal under the ministrations of his mother and three months more for him to regain some of his eyesight. He would never be able to see perfectly out of that eye again, but his mother couldn't have been prouder of him. His father was furious that he had released Candere and forced him to release the nidoran back into the wild as soon as it was strong enough. Finally, having had enough of his father's ways and after a heated argument where he blamed his dad for being the reason his sister left, Toki departed the family home and set out on his own [/tab] [tab=Personality]Whilst being more into battling than breeding and whatever it is that a co-ordinator does, Toki shares the same passion and love for pokémon that his mother and sister do. He despise the way his father trains his pokémon and wants to prove that you can bring out their full battle strength through kindness; not strict training regimes that leave them exhausted. He is highly curious about just about everything from nature to girls to boys and everything above and beyond (particularly the boys and girls). He is a charming young man who gets close to others by either flirting or just giving general compliments to ease them. He is kind and yet determined and won't give up the chase once he gets started; no matter how many obstacles get in his path. Some might think of him as a pervert or a user but if he ever falls in love, that person would own his heart and he would be devoted entirely to them. An extremely playful young man, Hitoki finds it easy to get on with people and usually manages to make friends pretty fast. Toki rarely loses his temper as he is a very laid back kind of guy. The only thing likely to make him flare up is brutality towards pokémon of any sort.[/tab][/tabs][/tabsection] Edited by Tari, Sep 16 2014, 04:06 PM.
