Technical Machines
Developed by Silph Co. a Technical Machine (or TM for short) is an item that is used in the world of Pokémon for tutoring a specific move to certain Pokémon. Typically the moves that are contained on a TM cannot be learned naturally by a handful of Pokémon, though there are a few exceptions. Certain TM’s can be bought in certain stores or obtained by defeating gym leaders. At any TM shop, a TM Case can be purchased to keep all of your TM’s nice and organized! Below are a list of updates to Technical Machines and their uses as of Generation 6.

  • Part II: [goto=part2,Account Locked TM's]
  • Part III: [goto=part3,Finding TM's]

Part I: Reusable TM’s
With the Generation 6 update, Technical Machines on Alternia have become reusable like they are within the games. This means that when a TM is used on a Pokémon, it will stay in the member’s inventory to be used again on numerous other Pokémon at a later time.

Part II: Account Locked TM’s
Due to Technical Machines being reusable with the update, to avoid abuse of the new system all TM’s will now be account locked. This means that members can no longer trade their TM’s to other members. If multiple copies of one specific TM is obtained by a member however, they will be refunded the price value of the TM and the extra disk will be removed from their inventory.

[anchor=part3]Part III: Finding TM's
Below is a list of all 100 TM's that are known to the Alternia region. Each TM is listed with the elemental type that goes along with the move that it contains, as well as the location at which they can be obtained. TM's will be either unique to a TM Shop or from a Gym. If the TM comes from a Gym, the member must defeat the Gym Leader in order to obtain the designated TM. These aren't the only ways to obtain TM's however. Members are allowed to request Umod+ to create a plot for the desired TM. Once a member receives or purchases their first TM, they will automatically be given a TM Case for free to store it in.
