It was pointless to struggle or resist as the leather bounds had you tied down and there wasn’t any escaping; the scientist was free to have his way with you. ‘Just relax,’ he whispered softly as the head of the small needle pierced your skin, ‘we only need to get a little sample.’ His facial expressions seemed almost psychotic as the tube slowly bubbled with your blood. ‘That’s good, see, we’re all done now,’ He giggled, his grin stretching from ear to ear like an Insarden as he flicked the side of the tube and placed it down on the counter next to a random Pokeball. He began to loosen your bounds as he glanced around the room, stopping before you were fully relased. ‘Where are your clothes today? You’re not expecting me to let you leave here like that, are you?’ His smile had faded now as he pushed the rolling chair backwards and exited the small room.

Now was your chance… You slowly wriggled your way out of the loosened binds, the friction tearing away a few layers of skin off your wrists and hands in the struggle but at least you were free, all you had to do now was get out of this room, find your bidoof and make a run for it. As you stood up and stepped towards the door, you noticed the scientist had returned; standing in the open doorway with a fresh pair of clothes hanging over his right forearm. Mind you it was nothing that’d suit your prehistoric taste. ‘Oh, so you think you’re just going to make a run for it? I thought we’d taught you better than this,’ He reached in to the left pocket of his overcoat, pulling out a Pokeball similar to the one on the counter. ‘If you want your bidoof, you better put these clothes on, now! I don’t have all day!’ It seemed like he was getting pretty agitated too, throwing the clothes towards you as if you were some sort of walking washing basket.

The scientist tossed the ball in the air once more, swiping at it mid-flight the ball enlarged and opened, releasing a small beam of translucent light that formed in to a somewhat larger sphere that was oddly enough the same color as the Pokeball.

You have three choices, grab the Pokeball on the counter and fight your way out, conform and throw on those superb jeans and grey v neck or just use brute force and beat the man silly; this scientist is a wimp, I’m sure you can take him. Whatever choice you make, I have a feeling you might want to take the ball on the counter either way, you never know what’s inside.

BiBi escaped his bonds with a small struggle. Chaffed skin was of no concern compared to the Ember attack he'd taken several seasons ago. Even that was of no concern now that his mother was missing. He searched the room, but could not find his mother, only a red and white egg.

The door opened, and the Doctor entered again. The man threw cloths at BiBi, who in turn glared at the man. The cloths smacked into his chest and fell to the floor with no attempt to catch them. This seemed to anger the Doctor, who threw out a red and white egg as well. A Pokemon suddenly appeared.

With lightning reflexes, BiBi went from stone-still into action! His hand grabbed the small egg in front of him, and in the same motion, he threw it at the Doctor's face! A beam of red flashed, and BeeDoo landed on the floor. The appearance of his mother had surprised BiBi, and this was one of the few times he showed it.

"Mother!"

BeeDoo turned her head, seeing her son. "My son!" BeeDoo was happy, and BiBi knew it. He also knew that here, in the land of man, Pokemon fought Pokemon. He couldn't take on the red and white Pokemon to defend his mother.

"Mother, stop the Pokemon. Growl, Bite it, please?"

Now BiBi turned to the Doctor. "You..." BiBi seethed. "You trapped my mother. Now you pay."

BiBi rushed the Doctor, his fist clenched. He took a swing at the man's stomach, hoping to double him over. BiBi didn't stop his charge though. No, he was going to slam the Doctor into the wall while he was at it!

Your sudden movements into action; the capsule at the doctor's face made a satisfying crack as it collided with his nose, a sudden fountain of blood erupting from it; followed by your swift attack on the Doctor was more than enough to take the Doc off his feet in surprise. Your fist found his soft midsection, sharply driving all the wind out of his lungs in one explosive breath. It felt good to punish this fiend for capturing your mother, surely? With sheer brute strength, you thrust into the Doctor, his body crashing against the wall and a resounding crack filled the area. His arm was sat at a funny angle now, and you could tell that you had broken at least one bone in the weak bastard's body. Good.

Meanwhile, BeeDoo turned her attention to the Voltorb, knowing that through all your training against the wild pokémon back home, the doctor was no match for you. She didn't know a bite attack, but that didn't matter. She knew that you wanted her to deal with this odd ball shaped pokémon and so she kicked into action. A menacing growl rumbled in her throat, rippling through the air to intimidate Voltorb's attack into dropping. It didn't work, however. Voltorb's Soundproof prevented the attack from affecting Voltorb!

The ball moved at high speed then, charging directly at BeeDo who barely managed to dodge it, turning to slam her own body into it, anger boiling to the surface. Her motherly instincts were taking over and she was adamant that she was going to beat this little shit and help you get out of here safely. The Voltorb was sent flying backwards, crashing into the wall and forming a large crater. It was momentarily stunned, before it weakly rolled away from the damage it had caused.

Come on BiBi. Not much longer and you'd be able to make a break for it!

BiBi's fist smashed into the Doctor's breadbasket, forcing the air out of the man. It felt good to crush him. This... man, who had trapped his mother in the egg. A quick follow up attack ended with the Doctor's arm breaking. Good.

"Mother, Tackle it! Tackle pokemon!"

BeeDoo fought with a ferocity equalled by BiBi' s own. She was small, and not very strong, but she fought for family. She fought for her freedom. She fought because there was only one way out, and it was through those that imprisoned her.

"You! Stay down!" BiBi snarled at the Doctor. He held a bare, coarse foot on the man's already broken arm. BiBi knew that stomping, and twisting his foot would send any rational thought fleeing from the man's mind. Avoiding the pain would become his only concern. Not this fight, not BiBi and not BeeDoo.

BiBi was tempted to knock the Doctor out now. Rage burned in his heart to do it. But, the man knew how to get out of this building, and BiBi did not. The man could suffer some, but BiBi needed him awake enough to give him answers.

"How us leave?!" the wild man growled.

I assure you now, BiBi - there is a way out of this place. As you have so rightfully said, this doctor would know the way. "How us leave?!" you growled ferociously, stamping further upon the poor doctor's arm. It was no surprise that you hardly cared about this man's well-being, especially since he was seemingly the one that had strapped you, a 'wildboy', into this foreign contraption. All you needed to know was directions from this vile man. No matter how much the doctor considered sitting up, you slammed him down back upon the floor - which, normally, would be a valid reason not to say anything to you.

This was different, however. Something to do with a broken arm, can't imagine where that came from, can you?

"...go out of -wheeze- this and look for a green sign above the doors. That's the exit..." the doctor murmured through coughs and hacks. A normal civilised person would know that a green sign was a fire exit. You were no such person, however - so looking for a green sign above a door was the only thing you had to go on. You would have knocked this poor doctor out now that you had such information, but it appeared that he managed to do that himself! With no real need to continue battling the Voltorb, you made efforts to leave this hell. Leaving the doctor to his injuries, you picked up BeeDoo and slammed the small door open, leaving it hanging loose of the door frame! Though you were hesitant to do so, you also hung onto the 'egg' that your mother had been so cruelly captured in.

The other civilised folk within the Research Centre were too stunned at a show of immense strength to consider attacking you - so without further delay, you began looking above each and every door in the building, trying to find that green 'sign' that was your ticket out of this place. Thankfully for you, the place was rather small, so it wasn't very long before you found the place you were looking for - and charged out of the building.

Just where were you now?

Well, this is pretty good for you.

You've stepped out of a busy Research Centre, only to find yourself staring at the outskirts of Millenia Town! Considering your rather 'minimalistic' attire, stepping into a busy street would have been a nightmare. I presume you would like to get out of garish civilisation and back into some form of wilds, wouldn't you BiBi? Being on the outskirts, you could quite easily head north, towards the Joukai Pass. However, if you had some desire to go back into the town and see what civilisation was like, you could easily head south.

I have a feeling I know which of these options you will choose, BiBi - do you?

BiBi and BeeDoo burst out of the building, finding they were at the edge of town. Quickly, BiBi assessed the situation. The wilderness was north, while the city was south. Instincts screamed to run north. But, BiBi's reasoning told him that going south might teach him more about the red and white egg his mother was trapped in.

He made the decision for now, they'd go south and east. He'd skirt the outside of the city, watching the civilization. Maybe he'd see something useful. They'd go south and east until they found the ocean. From there? Who knew.

It was as he watched to the south that he saw a plume of black smoke. "Smoke. Fire. Mother, we help."

BiBi wasn't asking. He held his mother in his arms as he dashed south, through the city. He leapt over small, metal tubes full of human refuse. He dodged around other humans with shocked faces. Something near the ocean was burning, and fire could mean someone was hurt. One scar in particular reminded him of that.

I'm somewhat surprised in you there, BiBi - I had even put money down on you hightailing it North to become one with nature as you had so become accustomed to throughout your life. However, surprisingly, you elected to head South instead, which means I've just lost fifty grand - thanks for nothing!...not that you'd know what money is, let alone money of such value! I suppose your logic is suitable for the situation, though - seeing how the sphere that had snared your mother worked was a sublime decision, that could further sharpen your understanding of the society that you found yourself in. Who knew just what you find on your search for answers?

However, such matters immediately took a back seat, as you spotted a plume of black smoke in the distance - whilst you were a wild man in almost every way, the searing effects of flames were not unknown to you. The potential for someone to be hurt - or worse - was very likely, especially in such a bustling town like this. Upon the sight of this shocking blaze, you charged forward, ignoring almost everything in your path in a hopeful bid to save anyone who had been snagged within it's terror. The scars of loss were all too real in your mind - you couldn't afford to let anyone else fall.

Surprisingly, the docks appeared rather quiet. It appeared as though many of the people who could have been involved in this ordeal had long since escaped. Yet there was still one person left - someone who could not have been any far removed from the wild and unfettered civilisation you had been involved in (before your capture by the wicked scientists and psychologists, of course).

Your journey continues forward, BiBi - but there are times when such journeys cross paths with others, whose fates align with yours. This is one such time. Just who is it, though, that has slipped onto your winding road?

It was rather bizarre, in a way, seeing a ruffian from the wilds of an unihabited island coming across a reserved and almost civilised young woman with a dual personality that would make even the most accomplished psychologists scratch their head in disbelief. In all honesty, I'm not sure what could happen for you both - but I can be assured that this is most certainly not going to be a repeat of the Tarzan and Jane stories that would be the first port of call in scenarios like this!

The building you had both seen burst into vivid red flames had caused no issues to anyone - aside from probably a frustrated marine engineer realised a good few hundred grand's worth of stock was worth less than the paper used to commission it! Furthermore, the young man that had emerged from the wreckage had vanished, as though he had never been there in the first place - you, Katelyn, probably can't get his words out of your mind. At least, however, you have a new partner in Munna - that could be ever useful in dealing with the wild man that has entered your view!

To BiBi and Katelyn Baudelaire, I leave you with this - the floor is yours. Don't kill each other, alright?

Today was going to be just great. She had only been there for barely a few minutes and not only had she witness an explosion the size of—well a really big thing, probably mars know that she thought about it, but also got a such a cute little Pokemon. Kat would be sooo jealous. This Alternia place was turning out to be just wonderful! And there was so much more to explore too, maybe she could go to one of the Safari Zone she briefly glanced over on the map, or even the mountainous region to the west (which she had highlighted in orange as it complemented the blue coloration neighboring cities.) Either way she looked at it, she had a lot of things to do and such a long time to do them in. THIS WAS GOING TO BE FUN.

So much fun that she barely took notice of a certain engineer who obviously was not as pleased by the unfolding disaster as she was. Nor the half-naked man who found companionship in that of the Bidoof.

Okay, I was kidding, she totally noticed the Bidoof. Actually if she were to round up all the Pokemon she thought were cute and then found it within her dwindling attention span to number them from cute to cutesierest Bidoof would be a solid “cutie pie” (give or take a few cutiemarks). So what had happened next was only to be expected.

LOOK AT YOU! Who’s a cute little woodchuck? You are you are. You have such little legs and a precious little body! I mean really, who would have thought such a small creature like you could be so cute! And what’s that you got there? It’s teeth, large buck teeth! I bet you can eat so much with that. Not that I’m calling you chubby, that would just be silly. I mean really who could just leave just a precious little thing like yourself all alon-“ Bonnie prided herself in many things, artistic ability, creative ability, and for generally not being a sourpuss like a certain someone who shall not be named. As you will notice “attention to detail” was not listed, which explains why poor little Bonnie was now noticing the barely clothed ape child before her.

Natives. She had read about them, well not really read, more or less Katelyn read while Bonnie exaggerated the available information beyond belief. Apparently they were dangerous, uncivilized, and stunk. Who could be better first friend! Bonnie would first have to try to communicate with him. There in lied the problem…

“Heellooo”, she began dragging out her words in hope that slowing her speech would magically breach any language barrier. “I aaaam Bonnie, Bon Eeee! And I like your Bee Doooff. Where’d you get it? Why’d you get. Not that I really want to know why, I just think it would be interesting to know. That’s not creepy right? No of course not, do I look like the type to be creepy? Well maybe sometimes, but that’s not my fault, Katelyn is such a spoilsport! Honest. Not that I would lie, nope not me. Wait, who are you again? “ And as with most thing, after a mere few seconds she forgot why she was speaking so painfully slow and returned to her usual sporadic and incoherent sentences.

Hopefully she wasn’t being offensive. I mean here she was fully dressed, abet conservatively, while he was probably freezing his butt off in his tunic. She didn’t want to offend any local tradition they had going on, she had heard somewhere that when that happens a trip to the local volcano is never too far away.

BiBi and BeeDoo had made it to where the black smoke was coming from. He skidded to a halt, looking around. With his legs bent, and free arm out, he was well balanced and ready for anything. Instead, there was nothing going on. That was very surprising to BiBi. The fire was already out. No one seemed to be injured, and there didn’t even seem to be a source for the commotion!

Slowly, BiBi relaxed. The only things here were a disgruntled man, looking at some wooden structure’s remains, and a small female. BiBi had been taught the differences between males and females by the doctors. He’d know about male and female pokemon, but he’d never seen a female human until recently. They wore peculiar clothing, he thought.

The female spoke very strangely. Sometimes too slow, and sometimes too fast, BiBi had a hard time following what she was saying. The most he got was her name, Bon Eeee. She seemed far too curious about his mother though. Carefully he stepped away from the female, Bon Eeee, and twisted his body a bit, putting himself between the female and his mother.

”Bon Eeee, he stretched the “Eeee” out just as she had, ”I Bibi.” Careful, he showed the girl the Bidoof under his arm. ”Mother, Beedoo. What make smoke?” he asked. It didn’t seem to make sense that a fire was here and now it was gone.

Suddenly, BiBi had an idea. He held out his mother’s red and white egg, showing it to the girl. ”You have egg? How Mother fit in egg?” Who knew? Maybe Bon Eeee could help BiBi figure out this strange artifact that had enslaved his mother.

The weird thing on BiBi's wrist started flashing lights and numbers. He wasn't sure what happened, so he smacked it with his palm. Apparently this made the thing happy, because the words "Lotto 149 Quick Pick" appeared. He didn't know what that meant. But then, green lights flashed and it made a dinging sound. BiBi smacked the machine again, and more words appeared. "Lotto 150 Quick Pick." He hoped this stopped soon.

Hello there you two, you seem to be getting on better than I expected, aren't you? Now, I just can't get my head around something here. Katelyn, it's got nothing to do with your, you know, split personalities, I can assure you. Nor, BiBi, does it have anything to do with your rather...bizarre outfit when compared to this metropolitan world that you find yourself in. It doesn't involve your surroundings either - though considering your bemusement at the fire going out as quickly as it started, it would have more sense to have something to do with that. Quite frankly, it seems rather strange, to be honest. It's something I definitely didn't expect to happen within maybe a minute of you being paired together like a Pokémon equivalent of Tarzan and Jane. What I don't understand is this.

Why am I here?

I mean come on, there's nothing I can do for the pair of you here, is there? Are you so keen for something to randomly pop out of the ether to distract the pair of you from your little conversation? Do you honestly think I have the answers you're looking for? If you were calling upon me to provide something fresh and exciting in this journey of yours before it has the chance to stagnate, you'd be sticking around these Docks for a long time! I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news to tell the pair of you - which is strange enough in itself. Quite frankly, I never expected to saying this to a neanderthal raised by a Bidoof and a posh girl with an alter-ego that acts like a loopy twelve year old!

Just carry on talking - you don't need to come back to me every time your verses have ended in the song of your destiny...

Oh fine, here's a pair of Wooper for you to take care of. Seems like a pair of fishermen had 'caught' them some time ago, but forgot to seal the deal with PokéBalls!

BiBi waited for Bon EEE to answer his questions. Maybe she didn’t know how the eggs worked either. If she did know, she wasn’t saying. BiBi’s head hurt, trying to talk with other people was confusing.

Thankfully, something exciting did happen. By the water, two blue Woopers had given the fishermen the slip! How did BiBi know what fishermen were? He wasn’t an idiot. He know how to capture pokemon that could swim. He knew how to fish, and how to use a net.

The slippery pokemon can running/sliding at BiBi and Bon EEE. BiBi was the first to react.

“Mother, Tackle (x2) the fish into submission!”

There were many things in the world that BiBi couldn’t understand. But, fighting pokemon? Yeah, he could manage that.
