Basic Information: Pokémon Name: Caterklysm Pokémon Sprite: [By Xia]Optional Image: Old versions Species Information: Pokémon Species: Mechanical Pokemon Gender Ratio: 100% ![]() Weight: 1831.4 lbs. Height: 9'11" Type: ![]() Abilities: Aftermath Iron Barbs Hidden Ability: Heat Affinity: Fire type attacks heal 1/4 HP. Ice type damage is multiplied by 4. Special Abilities: Wall Climb Production: Steel Cable Species Description: Species History: Caterklysm is a man-made biomechanoid pokemon based on the common caterpillar, as well as large snakes, such as Onix. The being has an exoskeleton becomes an ultra-hard tempered steel shell. Antennae turn into radio antennae; the mouth turns into an industrial strength press and general muscles between the segments become mechanical piston powered, somewhat awkward in appearance as compared to the natural muscle system, but much more powerful and slightly faster. The circulatory system is a mixture of molten metal pumped by an industrial pump. It seems that some of the models are created primarily for usage in cold environments and have extreme weakness to overheating, whilst rarer models are tempered for living in hot environments. The portion of these pokemon in the wild conform to this split based on exterior design, in captivity it appears to be based primarily on the ball used to catch the pokemon; hot environment Caterklysm being caught in dream balls. Cataclysm's body is covered in sharp metallic spikes. Like all most man-made pokemon, they are rare in the wild. They appear to eat; incorporating some eaten metals into their bodies. As well as being quite the weapon, it is capable of producing an ultra-strong steel cable from it's upper body. Populations exist in extreme environments of the planet and in the Abyssal Prison. Upon being knocked out, their body breaks into separate separate sphere, which are reintegrated when healed. Rumor has it that the mad scientist who created them has a base somewhere on the planet; that they somehow evolve from existing pokemon, and that this is not his only creation; but none of the rumors are confirmed at this time.
