It was getting pretty late when you had arrived in Millenia Town, but the sandy beach seemed to be calling your name and you couldn't resist taking a midnight stroll along the water's edge. As you walked along, looking out into the ocean and across the dark waters, something out of the ordinary caught your eye. Out in the waters, among the waves, was a living creature with a shimmering body. You continued to watch it for a while, quickly noticing that it was swimming over to you! When it reached the shallows, it waddled out onto the sands and you were finally able to get a good look at this sparkly being. Luckily for you, you weren't a Twi-girl, or else you'd be entirely let down over the fact it was not your own blood-sucking Cullen. Instead, it was a purple-colored water spirit known at Alternia as an Eauesprit. However, the typical coloration for this creature was blue, this one was oddly colored and you'd be finding out why just in a moment. The water spirit approached you quickly and leaned into your leg, giving you a friendly nuzzle followed by a pleasant Squeeee. This was a rarely seen female Eauesprit and it would seem as if she was taken by you! However, would she accept your friend request or would you have to battle her to fully win her love? Better yet, if you battled another trainer and won, I'm certain she'd gladly let you catch her. So, what will you do now, Lover Boy? Wild Pokemon Encounter! ![]() { Eauesprit } | ![]() Level 6 ![]() Fake Tears, Lick, Bubble |

"Ohhhhh!" coo'd Maxi, his eyes practically melting through sheer cutness, "You're the most adorable thing I've seen since I last looked in the mirror!" Stooping down, Maxi took a closer look at the Pokemon that had taken a liking to him. There was a faint sing as he hit a button on his PokeGear, the Pokedex feature springing to life and explaining what he was seeing before him. "An Eauesprit, huh? And a pretty rare female, at that!" He turned his attention back to the adorable little water ghost, and smiled broadly. "Wow... it's so weird that you found me!" Glancing to the right and left, the beach appeared empty - it was night, after all. Not many people to wander the beaches during the wee hours. "Would you like to come with me, little lady?" questioned Maxi, reaching back and pulling out one of the Pokeballs he currently had with him. "You're just way too cute to battle. If you wanna see me work, though, we can go find someone for me to show off against?" Though he doubted anyone would be nearby, it was the only way if the little Pokemon wouldn't accept his request to catch itself - Mixy couldn't use anything but a simple pound attack, and thus wouldn't be able to hurt the little water spirit even if Maxi was horrible enough to want to! "Hm..." he mused, staring at the seemingly non-responsive pokemon. "Maybe..." Reaching back, he removed yet another Pokeball - this one occupied. Tossing it gently towards the shore, it opened with a *click*, a blast of red energy shooting out and forming into the shape of a small fish-like Pokemon. Mixy dropped gracefully into the water, swimming rapidly in a circle as she turned to her trainer - the oh-so-graceful Pokemon seeming to glitter in the moonlight. Maxi pursed his lips - Mixy was such a show-off, much like himself - a Pokemon of impeccable taste. "Mixy..." chimed Maxi, in a faux high-pitch voice, trying to get on the little fish's good side. "Finn?" replied the butterfly-tailed fish, sliding one eye half open coyly to stare at Maxi - if she had a nose it'd surely be turned up at this point. "Could you have a chat with our new friend here? I feel like she wants to join, but I'm not sure" he dropped the Pokeball in front of Eauesprit, smiling warmly at the little spirit. "It's up to you, little one" he said, as Mixy began to converse with the Pokemon. "If not, we can go find someone to battle." Edited by JadedMemory, Aug 8 2012, 07:44 PM.

The female Eauesprit backed away as you called out your pokemon, but quickly warmed up to the Finneon. Eauesprit were quite friendly and enjoyed to play, so it was no shocker to see that she was interested in making friends with your Mixy. "Eee! Sprit!" The water-spirit called out as she joined in a conversation with your gorgeous fish. The two talked back and forth for a while, before the Eauesprit turned and nodded her head in the direction of a passing trainer. Obviously, since you were not capable of actually talking to any non-telepathic pokemon, you'd have to read her signals. From the looks of it, she wanted you to first prove yourself capable of being her trainer. Looking to the direction that she was nodding to, you'd spy a pretty little thing taking a midnight stroll on the beach. She had to be a swimmer from how well-built her body was... Her long, moon-colored hair was wet and dangled loosely down her back to just past her well-shaped hips. She wore a bikini, but not one of those skimpy ones, just an average, light green bikini with a lotus flower design printed on it. As she neared closer to you, she turned and gave you a smile. "Oh... Hello! I didn't expect to see any other people on the beach this late at night. You must be like me, then." The girl laughed out as she gave you a friendly greeting. She held a single pokeball in her hand, which wasn't noticeable at first because she had a towel draped over the same arm that just so happened to mask the fact it was there. However, it looks like she's a trainer... So, will you ask her for a friendly battle? |

Watching the pretty pink spirit bob it's head as if to indicate something of interest, Maxi cautiously turned to peer over his shoulder - you could never be too careful around ghost-type Pokemon. Even the cute ones were known to sometimes engage in mischief. His eyes settled upon a rather wonderfully proportioned woman wearing a bathing suit and a towel. A warm smile. Maxi rose to his feet, greeting the randomly-appearing stranger with a nod and an uncharacteristically awkward tight-lipped smile. ~I... must be like her?~ Maxi pondered, hearing the woman's rather affectionate opening sentence. Attractive? Sure. Out late? Of course. Trainer? That remained to be seen. But what a stroke of luck if she was indeed a Pokemon trainer! Maxi glanced back over his shoulder at Mixy - the little fish was clearly confined to the water in battle. An inexperienced diva of a Pokemon, any potential battle would be the first for both of them. Maxi returned his gaze to the lady, realizing that he'd been standing letting his internal monologue dominate his thoughts for far longer than was socially acceptable. "Maxi" he stated plainly, holding out a hand to the lady, "Nice to meet you! You wouldn't happen to be a Pokemon trainer, would you?" "Finn!?" came the shrill call from the shore, Mixy fighting to keep herself as close to the beach as possible despite the gentle waves slowly dragging her further out. Maxi turned to eye up the little fish Pokemon again, trying to reassure her with a wide, warm smile. In the end he just looked constipated, but all he could do was hope Mixy got the message. He again returned his attention to the woman, quickly releasing her hand from his, "Only I was wondering - would you be willing to battle with Mixy and I? Just a friendly little match - I figure I could use the help!" he chuckled, attempting to dispel the overtly creepy air that was spreading along the pitch-black beach. Millenia Town Beach Breezy - Late Night "Leah, pleased to meet you too Maxi...I take it that's a nickname?" the rather beautiful swimmer replied, accepting the hand you had offered - only for the towel to slip from her shoulder as a result, revealing the Pokéball she had somewhat concealed underneath. "Oh, sorry..." she muttered, shifting the PokéBall to her other hand so that she could accept the handshake. However, it was clearer now that she was a trainer - though her ability with Pokémon remained to be seen. Upon releasing your hand, she quickly attempted to retrieve the towel - if only to make sure she didn't lose it later. "I'd be happy to give you a battle - but let's not take too long, alright? I need some rest before dawn," Leah replied to your query, glancing over towards the horizon - it wasn't too far away from dawn. With a quick nod of your head in affirmation, she opened the catch on her own Pokéball - and in true swimmer fashion, a rather cute Luvdisc popped out, dropping into the water just like your Finneon. Given your affinity to water types, it was pretty much perfect, right? It appeared as though this battle would be taking place in the waters of Millenia Town - the question was whether you or Leah would come out on top in this seaside battle. For the sake of you acquiring that little Eauespirit, victory is essential, right?

So she was a trainer afterall! And as luck would have it, one with a Pokemon also confined to the water. Maxi beamed a grin worth ten-thousand car headlights, admiring Leah's Luvdisc - a beautiful Pokemon. And as luck would have it, Mixy was the jealous type. Maxi's eyes darted between the two Pokemon as they squared up, waiting for orders on how to proceed. Mixy was damn near green with envy watching the heart-shaped Pokemon flaunt it's Arceus-given body. Her eyes narrowed and she bobbed lower beneath the surface of the water, her fins fluttering jealously as she observed her soon-to-be enemy. Maxi turned to Leah, "Ah, yeah, it's a nickname. Short for Maximillion." He smiled again, making the conscious effort to seem less constipated. The Eauespirit nuzzled his leg, making him jump slightly. He'd almost forgotten about it's existence, and about why he'd approached this random beach lady in the first place. "Oh, uh... right!" he turned to Leah again, realizing she didn't want to be kept waiting any longer. "Uh... I hope it's a prettyful match!" It was almost as though a clang echoed throughout the area. ~Prettyful!?~ he internally screamed, mentally admonishing himself for being 'that guy' at a time like this. His eyes bulged and he turned away from Leah, scuffing his foot in the sand and cursing quietly under his breath. It wasn't like he had to try hard to make a good impression... he just needed to be sure he didn't make a bad one. His attempt at battle talk weighing heavily on his psyche, Maxi cleared his throat and raised his head again, staring out into the water. Mixy was pretty much entirely submerged now, only the tips of her butterfly-like fins and the faintest sliver of a narrowed eye peering out at the Luvdisc. "Wh... what the hell are you doing, Mixy!?" came a call from the shore, as Maxy stared incredulously at his clearly overly sensitive Pokemon. "This is a baaattle!" he whined, gesturing for her to slip above the surface once again. She complied, but as her small and fishy form reappeared, she shot Maxy a sudden and entirely venomous stare. "Finn..." she croaked, low and raspy, like the voice of a woman scorned "Ugh" he groaned, the intense stare of the newbie Pokemon tying his stomach in knots. "F-fine! Let's start it off!" bellowed the fledgling trainer, trying to win back what little man points he'd had before this debacle started. "Mixy! Duck under the water and try a pound attack from below!" The little Pokemon stared blankly at Maxi for a moment, before she vanished under the surface of the darkened water. Now all Maxi could do was hope for the best. He turned to Leah, offering a weak chuckle and a half-hearted thumbs up as the battle finally got under-way. Edited by JadedMemory, Aug 20 2012, 01:50 PM.

Just FYI. You can't control the Eauespirit until you own it. As it stands, that's a bit of minor godmodding, alright? Millenia Town Beach Breezy - Late Night "Maximillion, huh? Interesting name! I'd like to say my name is short for something but no joy there," Leah mused, wrapping her towel around her waist. In a way, it seemed as though she was rather intrigued by you - whether that was because of you almost tripping over your words (or your shoes, it's hard to tell in this darkness) or because of some other reason was something that wasn't completely evident, in truth. "I'm sure it'll be a great battle," she admitted, nodding in agreement to your 'prettyful' comment - you truly have been taken in by this girl, haven't you? Regardless, there was a battle here to be won - and with Luvdisc calmly treading water and not quite aware that he was involved in a battle, Mixy had a perfect chance to land a decent blow upon him. As you yourself moved towards the waters edge, Mixy began to launch her assault upon the Rendezvous Pokémon, ducking as far under the water as she could, before pounding her way through her opponent as she returned to the surface - and landing a critical hit! "Luvdisc, we're in a battle my dear," Leah softly muttered to her Pokémon, seemingly unperturbed by the attack launched upon the Luvdisc she owned. "Tackle that Finneon, sweetie," she requested, bending down gently to bring her calm and gentle voice closer to her Luvdisc - and inadvertently giving you a rather good view of a certain part of her anatomy. She wasn't quite so well endowed in that area - but it was still a decent view to be had... though don't let that sight go to your head, Maxi! Moving on...with his own orders to complete, the Luvdisc set about his task, swimming at speed towards Mixy before colliding head on with the Wing Fish Pokémon - it was nowhere near as strong as your Finneon's Pound attack, but given that he was that little bit stronger than she was, it was doing a fair bit of damage. "You're not from around here, are you?" Leah calmly asked you, seemingly curious at the somewhat extravagant and expensive attire you were wearing - it wasn't too often that a newbie trainer showed up wearing stuff like you had on you, so it was hardly a surprise for her to ask, right? Meanwhile, Mixy was somewhat bemused at being struck so strongly by her opponent - and decided, on her own, that delivering some payback in the form of another Pound attack was in order. Once again, she dropped down below the waters surface, before striking Luvdisc with force. It was nowhere near as strong, considering Luvdisc was aware of his involvement in a battle - but it did some damage, at least. The Rendezvous Pokémon responded in kind, lashing out with another Tackle attack that caused Finneon to be pushed back a couple of feet in the water. "I guess our Pokémon don't like each other much, huh?" Leah mused, glancing down at the two warring water Pokémon. Neither she nor you had given out any further orders, but there were the two Pokémon, battling away as though their lives depended on it. In truth, she was spot on - Mixy had been jealous of Leah's Luvdisc the moment he had been released from his Pokéball. Anyway. Your move, Maxi - try and keep Mixy under control, will you?
