Millenia Town - Fresh off the boat Overcast, soon to storm Late afternoon Welcoooooome toooooooo Alternia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, maybe not so enthusiastically, but you get the idea. Welcome to Alternia, trainer! Looks like none of those butt munchers from home will be here to pick on you, eh? Yes, I said eh, I'm Canadian dontcha know. But enough about me, this is your journey, your adventure! You must be super duper excited to get out there and explore! Well, maybe not right now, because it looks to be storming soon. The sailors were docking all the boats. You must've arrived just in the nick of time. Everyone was being ushered into the Pokemon Centre or other nearby buildings. Looks like this could be a biggie. "Guys? Where'd you go? Guys?" Suddenly you heard a girl's voice. She looked to be about your own age, maybe a year younger. She was kind of short, standing at around 5'3'' but that wasn't really a drawback on her. No, in fact it helped. It made her look pretty damn cute. She had chest length brown hair and cute brown-green eyes. She was wearing pretty standard clothes for summer, a white tank top and a nice pair of shorts that just so happened to show off a little of her butt. Hey, that's the style these days, dontcha know. I'm gonna stop saying that now. Under her tank top you noticed a lime green bikini top. She must've been on her way to the beach with some friends. Don't think THAT'S gonna happen today. Well, those clothes weren't helping her now in these pre-storm winds. On her belt you noticed a Pokeball, and on her head you could see a Ducklett was perched, looking pretty distressed. Hmm, she seems to have lost her friends in the shuffle of the crowd running for the city. She seemed pretty frightened, not entirely sure what to do with herself. She could use some help but nobody was giving it. Perhaps this is your chance to break out of that shell of yours and make a new friend. Or not. I mean you could totally ignore her. Hell, you could stay outside in the rain if you wanted. It doesn't seem like a dangerous storm, just heavy winds and lots of rain, but nothing life threatening. Who knows, maybe that's your thing. I know lots of people who like the rain. Maybe you find it refreshing. There are certainly a number of Pokemon that do. In fact, I see a number of water Pokemon lined up along the shoreline. They must be revelling in the rain. So, what're you going to do? Be a knight in shining armor to this damsel in distress, or ignore her entirely and play in the rain with the Pokemon? Or something entirely different, it's totally up to you. "The world is your " as my fellow voice from the heavens Silas would say, so get explorin'!Girl Wild Water Types

August's feeling of relief died as soon as he got off the boat. Sure, he liked the fact that everyone here was a complete stranger and that they would hopefully not pick on him. That was one of the main reasons he had come to Alternia. Once he had stepped off the boat and gotten rid of his worries, he noticed a storm was brewing. August looked around and saw the sailors docking the boats, and that didn't worry him as much. He knew what had to be done in coastal areas when a storm came. The thing that did worry him was the scene beyond te docks. It had to be bad if people were rushing into buildings to get safe. Where he was from, people sucked it up and used an umbrella. This storm had to be big, and there was no going back from here. August was broken out of his daze of soaking in his surroundings when he ears the cry of a girl. She seemed to be looking for her friends, and in this hustle, August didn't blame her for losing her friends. He thought about going over to her and asking if she needed help, but then he realized he was a girl, and a pretty darn cute one. He always had trouble with girls. August thought about the pros and cons of approaching her. He could help her, and that makes everyone feel good inside. He could also approach her and somehow find a way to embarrass himself. After a moment of internal conflict August shook his head to subdue his thoughts. I do need to be a gentleman, and it is the right thing to do... he thought to himself. He finally mustered the courage and walked over to her. Inside he had hesitation, with only a few feet to change his mind. Slowly August approached her, hands in his pockets and shoulders tucked. "Um, excuse miss, do you need help finding someone? I couldn't help overhear you calling out for your friends," August said. As soon as he did, he mentally slapped himself. Saying that you knew exactly what she said makes you seem like a creep. But August shoved his thoughts into a corner of his brain. He couldn't unsay anything so he decided to accept his stupidity as he awaited her answer. OOC:// Jeebus, I'm waiting till I get home to post again. This post (measly compared to my old style, I'm a bit rusty) and my registration have been done through my phone, and it's frustrating. Edited by Ghost Patrol, Jun 6 2012, 09:03 PM.

Millenia Town - Fresh off the boat Overcast, soon to storm Late afternoon Well, well, well, it looks like you've decided to face your fears and talk to this girl. Of course, you may have just totally creeped her out, because I mean who just listens to random conversations? Still, in this sort of situation where everyone's yelling and rushing you can't help but overhear some things. Yeah, maybe that'll be what she's thinking. Or maybe not, I don't know. Well actually I do, but you don't. You'll just have to find out. The girl looked at you with distress in her eyes. She didn't really care that you heard what she had said, she was more happy than anything that someone was trying to help her. Her Ducklett, on the other hand, immediately distrusted you. He gave you a death stare, as if he was daring you to lay a hand on her. "Oh thank you so much. Yeah, me and my friends were gonna hang out at the beach today, but then this sudden storm warning came and I lost my friends in the crowd and I don't know where they are and I don't know what to do." As she spoke her words got faster and faster as she got more and more nervous and frightened. "I'm sure they ran for the Pokemon Centre but I don't know, they could've gone anywhere." Before you there were a multitude of buildings, but people were generally flocking towards the Pokemon Centre, House's Department Store, and the Millenia Battle Camp. Of course there were a number of smaller venues that you saw people heading towards. Her friends could be anywhere. Or maybe they also got split up, it's entirely possible. "Please, could you help me? I don't wanna be running around alone in this. I hate storms." Looks like you're gonna have your chance to be a knight in soaking wet armor. The rain was already starting, albeit lightly. Still, it was a warning of what was to come. You have a few choices now. You can head to any of the three buildings I mentioned before, or you could head to one of the smaller buildings where I can see people. Those smaller places look like they could be people's beachfront homes. I'm sure those are equipped with emergency basements for storms like this, and it looks like a small crowd is headed towards one of the houses. Or you could just leave her stranded and go play in the rain or find your own damn shelter. "My name's Rebecca, by the way." So? Will you help Rebecca? Or will you crawl back into your comfort zone and leave her to the wrath of nature? OOC: I've got an idea for a little plot here if you want to keep requesting me. |

August noticed the distress in this girl's eyes after he had asked her about her friends. This confirmed that her problem was genuine, and now, August could start to trust her. However, August also saw the look in the eyes of the girl's Ducklett. It seemed to be giving him te death stare, at least the best attempt given by the tiny and cute Pokemon, and he made a quick mental note to watch for signs of an eminent attack from the blue duck. As August finished making his mental note, the girl replied. She told him about her situation, which matched up to what August heard earlier. He was about to ask about any possible locations she thought that her friends could have run off to, but she beat him to the punch by suggesting the Pokemon Centre. He looked towards the Pokemon Centre and saw the mass crowd of people heading towards and inside it. Others were heading into a department store and a battle camp. During August's observations, she asked for his help and added that she hated storms. Great, the feeling was back again. Was it sympathy? To make matters worse, it started raining. It was just a light drizzle, but it would do nothing but hinder them in their search. They needed to find shelter. August turned his gaze to a set of beachfront homes. It seemed like a fairly reasonable destination for anyone going to the beach, but August noticed that not many people were heading for the houses, and he decided that they would be the best course of action. The Pokemon Centre and the other big buildings had large crowds of people that August and the girl could never hope to sort through. Once again his observations were interrupted by the girl. Apparently her name was Rebecca. Well, they were on a first name basis, so no going back now. "Well, Rebecca," August said, hesitating before using her name, "I've quickly glanced around the area, and it seems like the most logical place to go would be those beach houses over there. They're close to the beach, and it would be easier to look over there as opposed to looking for them in the crowds near the multitude of buildings. I suggest we head there to look for your friends." He paused before reaching into his backpack and pulling out his hoodie, which he packed for situations like this. "Here, use this hoodie for the time being. It'll help with the rain problem." August extended his arm and offered her the hoodie. OoC:// I'd love to do this plot thing, do I'll make sure to mention it in the RRT. Also, the hoodie was mentioned in my profile. |

Millenia Town - Beachfront Home Storm brewing Late afternoon So you decided to head to the beachfront home. Good decision, it'll be easier to find people in there than in the massive crowds going to the major buildings. Luckily for you this nice fellow opened his home to the townsfolk during storms like this. Rebecca took your hoodie and blushed slightly, thanking you. "Thanks," she looked at the hoodie and saw a label, "August." Ducklett just rolled his eyes. The two of you made your way to the house, and just in time. It looks like the storm is getting worse. Well, friends or not you guys are stuck here. You shifted your way through the crowd that was a little larger than expected, but found none of her friends. That's a shame, they must've gone to one of the other buildings. Or maybe they themselves were all separated, who knows. Well, I do, but that's besides the point. Rebecca looked a little upset, but she seemed genuinely happy to be there with you. Well, happy until this unfortunate incident. "Hey, Rebecca!" Rebecca shivered involuntarily at the sound of that voice. "Rebecca, I'm surprised to see you here." Two guys stepped out from the crowd. The first was short, had dark hair, and kind of looked like a dog. A really stupid dog. The other was taller, had orange hair, and looked like a douche. A really douchey douche. Rebecca pushed away from them and headed to another room, with you in tow. These two guys followed her in. Of course, the room was empty except for the four of you. "Jesse, Adam, I don't have anything to say to you two!" I wonder what was up with these guys. Ducklett gave them a worse glare than he gave you. "Ugh, these two assholes keep trying to hit on me. That jerk with the orange hair," she pointed to the one named Adam, "caused my boyfriend to break up with me because he thought something was going on. And Jesse," she pointed to the other, "well he's just an idiot who thinks he's god's gift to women." Well, these seem like bad dudes. "Oh please, we're just trying to be friendly here. Look, we'll challenge you and your new boyfriend to a friendly battle" What? Boyfriend? Oh no, this is a big misunderstanding. "Fine by me." Well shit. Looks like you've got a battle! With those two blocking the only exit you've got no choice here. Adam threw out a Spoink and Jesse released a Spearow. Rebecca and Ducklett took a fighting stance. You'd better get Odin out, quick! August was dumbfounded and caught off guard as Rebecca referred to him by name. One, he had forgotten to introduce himself. He mentally slapped himself for being as socially inexperienced as he was. A name was one of the most important aspects of forming a connection, and he hadn't given his. I'm such an idiot... August thought. Two, how did she get his name? August's mind cycled through anything that could have given it away, and he finally settled on a label that was on his hoodie. After heading to the house and being let in by the nice man who owned it, August couldn't seem to find any of Rebecca's friends. He expected her to be upset, but she seemed to be happy. August was confused on when expressions of emotions were used. If she was unable to find her friends, then why was she happy? He shook his head and cleared his mind. At least they were out of the storm. And then a voice called out to Rebecca. Then another. August perked up at the thought of Rebecca finding her friends, but something seemed off about this. The two guys that stepped out of the crowd seemed like the type of people that bullied and picked on August as a kid, and August unintentionally clenched his fists. His 'feeling' about them seemed to be correct, as Rebecca pulled him into another room and away from the guys, only to be pursued by them, and she explained why they were assholes. Of course, like many bullies, they casually denied being bad, and like the others, Jesse and Adam said they were trying to be friendly. August knew not to trust them. Then they challenged August and Rebecca to a battle. But one of them had referred to August as Rebecca's boyfriend. He immediately blushed at this, and he started to deny it, but Rebecca had seemed to be unfazed by the comment and had accept the challenged. August looked at the Spoink and Spearow sent out by Jesse and Adam and the Ducklett sent out by Rebecca. He released Odin in a flash of red, and the clay doll Pokemon took a battle stance as he looked at the enemy Pokemon. He knew that Odin's psychic attacks wouldn't do much against Spoink, as they were the same type. "Rebecca, if you focus Ducklett's attacks on the Spoink, I can focus Odin's attacks on the Spearow," August said to Rebecca. "Odin, use two Confusions on Spearow!" |

Millenia Town - Beachfront Home Storm brewing Late afternoon Looks like you've got yourself a battle here! Jesse and Adam both had moronic grins on their faces. They looked like they were completely confident in your ability to lose. Not their ability to win, yours to lose. They're just that kind of people. Well, I'm sure you'll wipe those grins off their faces once you've mopped the floor with them. Rebecca agreed to your plan of dividing and conquering. She gave out her orders like a pro. "Dolan, we've gotta work with our new friend here, so use two Water Guns on Adam's Spoink!" The Ducklett looked defiant for a moment, not wanting to work with you. Rebecca sighed. "Dolan, please." Finally the duck agreed and hopped into action. However, Jesse and Adam were also at work giving their orders. "Rew, use a Growl and then a Peck on that Baltoy!" Growl? On two special attackers? He really wasn't the smartest of the bunch. Adam just rolled his eyes and gave his orders. "Okay Piglet, use two Psywaves on Rebecca's cute little ducky over there." The bouncing pig nodded and his eyes began to glow. Dolan released his two Water Guns right at Piglet, just as the pig blasted his Psywaves. Both attacks hit, but due to the chaotic nature of Psywave it was actually Dolan who dealt more damage. The little duck quacked in triumph and awaited his new orders. Meanwhile, Rew had Growled loudly, although nobody seemed to care. Odin blasted the bird with a Confusion, sending her into a weird spiral flight pattern, but she recovered and dove at your Baltoy with surprising speed. She Pecked him, dealing pretty big damage. However, Odin was a resilient guy. He retaliated with a Confusion that caused the bird to fly around the room erratically. She even knocked over an expensive looking vase. Well that can't be good. Overall you two seem to have the advantage. I wouldn't get too cocky, though. These two guys seem determined to win and embarrass you in front of Rebecca. Of course, she had a fire in her eyes as well, as if this was her moment to shine and show these two that she was not to be messed with and to leave her alone. A lot on the line here, so fight with all your heart! Team August and Rebecca Team Adam and Jesse

As soon as the battle started, August entered another state of mind. His fists clenched and he leaned slightly toward the battle. His strategic thought processes went into mind, and his eyes analyzed the situation rapidly. The Spearow's Growl wasn't too effective, since Odin was a special attacker. The Peck, was another story, however. August noticed that Odin had taken some serious damage after the bird Pokemon had dove and Pecked Odin. Even though he was resilient, something had to be done to prevent further damage. August mentally cycled through the moves that Odin knew. He had Confusion, currently his only offensive attack. If he was lucky, he could confuse Spearow. Odin also knew Harden, which could increase his defense, a handy tool against the physically attacking Spearow. August also knew that Odin could use his telekinetic powers to manipulate objects, but he doubted that Odin could do that in the heat of battle and on a relatively large Pokemon such as Spearow. After this short thought process, August realized that his strategies would be very limited until Odin got more experience in battle. He sighed, and decided he would do something both offensive and defensive. "Odin, use Harden to help defend yourself against that Spearow and then use another Confusion on it!" August ordered. A split-second later, he decided that some positive reinforcement would be beneficial to Odin's, Rebecca's, and her Ducklett's morale, as he had read about in his history books so many years ago. "Keep it up, Odin, I know you can do this!" he directed toward his Baltoy. August then turned to Rebecca and her Ducklett. "Rebecca, you and your Ducklett are doing great! If we keep at it, we can win this!" A feeling of confidence rushed over August, and he felt capable of defeating these two punks and their Pokemon. |

Millenia Town - Beachfront Home Storm brewing Late afternoon Deciding to go both offensive and defensive, eh? Good strategy. It's always good to mix things up a little. Odin and Rebecca (and even Dolan the Ducklett) heard your words of encouragement and felt, well, encouraged. They felt a newfound sense of vigour and spirit. Odin took this spirit and used it to use Harden to keep his defences up. Rebecca smiled at your words, feeling a strange rush to her head. Before she got too distracted she remembered the battle. "Okay Dolan, that was great. Another two Water Guns on Spoink over there. We should be taking these guys down in no time!" Dolan sprung into action, flying at the pig. He blasted two quick Water Guns, dealing good damage, and knocking him off his bounce. "Piglet use two more Psywaves on our little flying friend there." The little pig nodded as he got back into the groove of his bouncing. His eyes glowed and two strange rings of energy flew at Dolan. This time the damage was pretty big, but it could've been worse. Dolan was getting tired, but so was Piglet. Who would win would come down to whoever attacks first next round. Meanwhile, Jesse was slapping himself for being so stupid. Of course they don't use physical attacks! "Stupid... Okay Rew, use two Pecks on the Baltoy, and make them hurt!" Rew the Spearow cawed out and flew at the Hardened Odin. The damage was mitigated slightly by the defence boost, but was still quite hurtful. Before she could use her second, Odin used his close proximity to her as a chance to blast Rew with a close range Confusion! The damage was good, however the best part was sending that bird into a Confusion! She was flapping around and had no idea what was going on! Her second attack only ended up hurting herself! Looks like you've got the upper hand here. Play it smart and you could have the win! Team August and Rebecca Team Adam and Jesse

August flinched and clenched his fists as he saw Spoink unleash his Psywaves upon Dolan. He knew they the damage must have been pretty impressive, and he figured that Dolan would get knocked out if Spoink got in another hit or two. Now he was a fork in the road. August could surely finish off Spearow if he focused solely on the bird Pokemon, but in doing so, leave Dolan to be defeated by Spoink. After his momentary lapse in attention, he noticed that Odin had been able to put Spearow into a state of confusion. "Good work Odin," August said as he watched Spearow hurt itself. Something clicked in his head, and he realized that he had more options with Spearow confused. Odin could strike Spoink and help out Dolan, then focus on the lesser threat. After going over it in his head a couple of times, he decided it was the best course of action. "Rebecca, it would be in Dolan's best interest for him and Odin to swap targets. I can tell he's on the verge of being knocked out," August said. He quickly realized that she might take it as an insult to her ability to train her Pokemon. "I'm not trying to insult you, cause you and Dolan are doing great. I'm just- Urgh..." August stopped as he tried to find the correct words. After a second's pause, he gave up. "Odin, move as fast as you can to Spoink and strike him three times with your arms as hard as you can! Try to focus your hits with the hardest points of your arms!" He hoped that Odin would be more physically damaging due to his hardened body, but he didn't know for sure. With his commands issued, August could only hope that Odin would succeed in keeping Dolan from fainting, and hopefully the battle would be over soon. OoC:// Is it possible to apply Harden to physical attacks, such as Strike? I would assume that a toughened exterior would hurt more, but if not, oh well. Millenia Town - Beachfront Home Storm brewing Early evening Switching up your targets, eh? I like your style. Keeping the enemy on their toes. Well, sir, let's see if it works out for you. Using Odin's Hardened body to Strike Piglet was an interesting idea. It managed to counteract the attack loss from before, however there was still that pesky level difference to contend with. Rebecca nodded and Dolan was up for the idea of a switcher. "Dolan, two Water Guns on Spearow, quick!" Jesse and Adam were caught off guard, expecting the battle to commence as it had been up until now. Adam managed to catch on quickly enough, however. "Piglet, two Psywaves on Baltoy, he's our new target!" By the time Piglet had summoned the energy to attack, he'd been hit by two Strikes from Odin. Still he held on, blasting two Psywaves at the spinning top. The first was weak enough for Odin to fight through, but the second was quite debilitating. In fact, Odin barely held on! Any stronger and he would've been down and out. He fought through the pain and delivered a strong third Strike, nearly taking Piglet down. Your enemy was strong, however, and held tight. Meanwhile, Dolan and Rew were having it out. Rew was hit by Dolan's first Water Gun before she was even given any orders, but Jesse quickly jumped into action. "Rew, two Pecks quickly!" The Spearow flew in and smacked Dolan hard with his beak, dealing some decent damage. Dolan was about to use his second Water Gun when Rew suddenly dove into the ground! She hurt herself in her confusion and was out! Looks like you're halfway to victory here! I wouldn't celebrate too soon, however, because Adam had a smile on his face. "Piglet, use another Psywave on that Baltoy!" No! There was no way Odin could survive this! "Dolan, Water Gun!" The Ducklett scrambled to move first. Piglet summoned his psychic energy. Odin had no chance to dodge. Dolan brought forth the water and..... Victory! The Water Gun just managed to get there first, knocking Piglet out! Victory was yours! Battle Results Wow! What a battle, and what a finish! Rebecca jumped up and down in joy and gave you a hug! "We did it, we did it!" Even Dolan looked happy to have fought with you. Looks like he's warming up to you. A little. Adam and Jesse were a bit downtrodden, but not enough to stop being irritating. "Well, congratulations. You know how to get little creatures to beat one another half to death. Bravo." What a jerk! Before anything else could happen, however, someone came into the room. He was a young man, in his early twenties it seems, and he looked pissed. He looked around and saw a feather from a Spearow next to the shattered vase from before and his face contorted in horror. "Okay, who here has a Spearow?" Before Adam could tell him not to be such an idiot, Jesse raised his hand. "That vase was a gift from my grandfather! Out, both of you!" Is he seriously kicking Adam and Jesse out into the storm? It seems he is, because an angry looking Zangoose appeared behind the man, ushering the two of them out. I guess he didn't care about you two, you didn't break any of his stuff. Once they were gone Rebecca visibly relaxed. Of course she tensed right back up again once she heard the thunder and saw the crack of lightning. Suppose you'll have to spend the night here. The man from before returned and got everyone's attention. "Alright everybody, feel free to spend the night here. The authorities said the storm should only last trough the night so you can be on your way tomorrow morning. Feel free to use this machine to heal your Pokemon if they're injured and have a good night." With that he left upstairs with his Zangoose. People were moving around, getting to the machine to heal their Pokemon. You should probably do the same. Rebecca walked over and healed Dolan up before coming back to you. "Thanks for helping me out there. Those guys are such jerks." Look at you, ladies man! The storm raged on through the night, and eventually you two fell asleep. You awoke to early morning birds chirping, and Rebecca's head on your shoulder. Looks like she curled up and fell asleep against you. After a moment she stirred and woke up as well. The owner of the house was ushering people out, not eager to clean up the mess that some had made during their stay. You and Rebecca left with the crowd. Looks like the weather cleared up, and everything was back to normal. Well, there was some debris on the shore and it looks like some people were a little disoriented from the sudden break in routine, but such is life. There was still the issue of Rebecca's friends however. "So...I don't know if you want to still help me, but I still have to find my friends. You don't need to stay if you don't wan to, that's fine too I guess..." Was that a hint of sadness in her voice I detect? It seems she wants you to stay, and who knows there could yet be more rewards for helping her out. Or you could go on your merry way, it's all up to you. If you do choose to help her you should probably look either in town or on the beach. They were obviously all in town in shelter there, so they could still be there, or they could possibly have walked down to the beach to find Rebecca, it could be either one. Or, like I said, you could just leave her and be on your way, but you wouldn't do that, would you? OOC: Holy hell that was much longer than I had intended. Sorry about that. August breathed a sigh of relief as Spoink fell to Dolan's Water Gun. Had Dolan not been quick enough, Odin would've been done for. Rebecca was shouting cries of victory, and she even hugged him, causing August to blush furiously. Their celebration was cut short as a man came in, angry at both Adam and Jesse for breaking the vase. August noticed a visual relaxation in Rebecca as they left. Having won te battle, August healed Odin with the man's machine, and he and Rebecca ended up falling asleep. The next morning August slowly woke up, and he noticed Rebecca's head on his shoulder. He tensed, having never been in this situation before. She looked serene, and he kept his gaze longer than necessary, so he looked away quickly when she woke up. As they left with the crowd, August noticed that the storm had passed. He quickly thought about asking for his hoodie back, but he didn't want to seem rude and demanding, so he kept quiet. He then returned his mi to the issue of Rebecca's friends. As Rebecca brought up the topic of her friends and August's help, he noticed a hint of sadness in her voice. He wondered if she was sad because of her friends, but he realized that it would be more distress than sadness. He furrowed his brow as he tried to figure out why she was sad. Damn his lack of empathy. August decided to concentrate on where her friends could be. Obvoiusly they weren't in the house, so they were either on the beach looking for her or in the town still in the buildings. He decided the beach would be the best bet, a sort of middle ground between the house and the town. It would also be easier to gradually move towards the town than to go to the town then have to go back to the beach. "Rebecca, of course I'll still help you. It would be te most beneficial if we went to the beach to search for your friends, since they may be searching for you," August said. He made a split second decision to do something risky and he placed his hand on her shoulder for comfort. "Don't worry, we'll find your friends." Instantly he wished he hadn't done that, and he feared the possible repercussions. OoC:// It's fine. My post may suck since muse isn't exactly strong in my dorm's laundry room. |

Millenia Town - Beach Clear Skies Morning Rebecca immediately cheered up when you decided to stay with her. When you placed your hand on her shoulder you couldn't help but notice a tiny hint of redness in her cheeks. After a moment she nodded. "Okay, thank you so much." The two of you heeded further down the beach. It was getting warmer outside but she was still wearing your hoodie. Maybe she likes the feel of it or something, I don't know. It didn't take you long to find her friends. Then again, it wouldn't take long to find anyone who was screaming for help. Rebecca recognized her friends' voices and dashed over to where the sound was coming from. "Help! Someone!" "Please, anybody!" "Help us!" After a moment you saw three girls huddled together. One was short with chest length straight brown hair, one was tall with similar hair but with bangs that hung over the front of her face, and the third was medium height with curly blond hair. All of them were in similar clothing as Rebecca, a loose tank top with shorts and a bathing suit underneath. The reason these girls were cowering in fear was pretty obvious. In front of them was the most menacing Frillish I'd ever seen. It must've been upset by the storm and was now in a rage. When the girls saw Rebecca they instantly looked relieved. The short one called out to her. "Rebecca, thank god! Please help us!" Rebecca looked distraught. Her Dolan couldn't do much damage against a Frillish with Water Absorb as its ability. "I'm so sorry, I don't know what I can do!" Then she turned to you. "August, please, can you help my friends?" You'd be at a disadvantage against a water/ghost type, but nobody said anything worth fighting for would be easy. What will you do? Save her friends? Or will you just run away and let them deal with their own problems? Level 10
