The following is a list of TCG exclusive items, with a link to an image of the card and a suggestion on an actual use in this highly game influenced setting. In some cases I have done a very basic item renaming; in most I gave them an effect that is different that it's card's effect due to the card effects not making sense here. Also, in all cases, I have appended a suggested rarity and value BASED ON THE EFFECT I GAVE IT; if you like using the TCG item, but not my effect and would like to suggest a new one; that'll also have to change. Hold-Items: Anger Crystal - [Held Item] Holder gets +2 Attack; +2 Special Attack, but is confused every time it switches in (or gets Tricked into holding it). Effect wears off immediately when the item is no longer held.$1400 uMod Bubble Coat - [Held Item] Single Use. A pokemon holding this has no weaknesses. Breaks when hit by a normally effective attack or one that would normally be super effective. Can be repaired by recycle. $350 gMod Charitiable Coin - [Held Item] A pokemon holding this can put damage caps on any of it's own attacks. $600 Mod Cursed Powder - [Held Item] When a pokemon holding this is knocked out by direct damage, the attacker loses 1/4 of it's HP. Does NOT stack with Aftermath. $1200 uMod Energy Restore - [Held Item] The holder regains 5 ENG at the end of every turn. $1600 uMod Guard Crystal - [Held Item] Holder gets +2 Defense; +2 Special Defense, but also receives -1 Attack; -1 Special Attack every time it switches in (or gets Tricked into holding it). Effect wears off immediately when the item is no longer held. $1400 uMod Mysterious Crystal - [Held Item] A strange crystal made by the lake trio; grants the holder the ability to meet most legendary pokemon on equal ground. Cannot be Bought or Sold Admin Normalize Crystal - [Held Item] Holder is normal type. Effect wears off immediately when the item is no longer held. $2000 uMod Ninja Sash - [Held Item] A pokemon holding this may force itself to switch at any point during a turn.$1200 uMod Protective Orb - [Held Item] Multiplies the effectiveness of the opponent's super effective attacks by 0.75; does not stack with Filter. $2000 uMod Revenge Claw - [Held Item] Single Use. When a pokemon holding this is attacked with a move that makes contact, the opponent recieves recoil for half damage dealt. Destroyed after use. Can be repaired by recycle. $200 Mod Seal Crystal - [Held Item] Cancels the holder's and one opponent's ability, as long as this item is held. Cannot cancel Klutz or Wonder Guard. $700 gMod Strength Crystal - [Held Item] Holder gets +2 Attack; +2 Special Attack, but also receives -1 Defense; -1 Special Defense every time it switches in (or gets Tricked into holding it). Effect wears off immediately when the item is no longer held. $1400 uMod Use Items: Area Heal - In double and triple battles; has the effect of Full Heal on both or all three pokemon, respectively. Outside of battle; may heal whole team's status problems.$800 gMod Level Max - A highly concentrated syrup made from Rare Candies; instantly raises any pokemon's level to match your current team highest. $5000 Admin or Event Perfume - Makes pokemon more likely to appear for 10 posts. $250 gMod Poketurner - Switches the current pokemon, regardless of circumstances (can bypass effects such as Wrap, Ingrain, Shadow Tag and Spider Web. Breaks after use). $250 gMod Power Spray - In battle use item, any pokemon this item is used on ignores the target's ability when attacking. $350 Mod Pokeballs: Aqua Ball - The original manufacturer of these balls is unknown; the ones in Alternia were reverse engineered from one found on a trainer that came from Tohea. An altered premier ball; works much better on Water, Ice and Poison pokemon. $150 Mod Magma Ball - The original manufacturer of these balls is unknown; the ones in Alternia were reverse engineered from one found on a trainer that came from Tohea. An altered premier ball; works much better on Fire, Ground and Dark pokemon. $150 Mod Split Ball - A peculiar pokeball; when thrown it attempts to catch all pokemon in a wide area. This causes the pokeball to split into several regular Pokeballs; all pokeballs that fail disappear and this ball cannot be recovered after use. $150 gMod Berries: Durilum Berry - Single Use. A strange berry that's naturally filled with helium. Grants the Pokemon holding this immunity to Ground attacks. Will burst if attacked by anything but Ground attacks. Recycle cannot repair. Growth pattern matches #36-#64 on the Owning Land thread. $50 Mod Fluflion Berry - Single Use. A light and fluffy berry that allows escape from any battle, by lightening the eater and letting it run away. Recycle cannot repair. Growth pattern matches #36-#64 on the Owning Land thread. $50 Mod Memkin Berry - A strange berry, known to refresh the memories of those that eat them. Allows a pokemon that eats one to learn a move that was part of it's moveset in an earlier form, but not it's current one. This move must be tutored within five posts, before the berry's effect wears off. Growth pattern matches #36-#64 on the Owning Land thread. $100 gMod Poketech Items: SP Scanner - [Poketech app] A special scanner designed to detect rare pokemon. It cannot identify the specific pokemon or type, but indicates if there are any rare pokemon in the area. Activating the scanner can make it easier to find a RANDOM rare or gold rare pokemon; it does not assist in quests for specific pokemon, however.$2000 uMod Transciever - [Poketech app] A wireless headset allows one to send and receive phonecalls through the Poketech. Allow for quicker and more complete IC communication through the device. $500 gMod Other: Fossil Egg A fossilized egg. Revives as a regular egg; that hatches into a random fossil or ancient pokemon. $3000 Admin Shield Crystal - A necklace that casts a powerful psychic barrier, that if kept by a trainer protects him and all pokemon standing BEHIND him from area of effect moves from the battle in front of the trainer. [In other words, gives the trainer and pokemon out of their balls, but not in battle the same protection as pokemon in their balls.] $500 gMod Time Crystal - A rare fragment created Dialga. Speeds up post counters x 1.5 within a close area of the crystal; may influence up to six pokemon. [Cannot be Bought] Sell for $7500 Admin or Event Victory Medal - A ceremonial coin given to Champions; prize for defeating the elite four, or winning certain prestigious tournaments. [Cannot be Bought] Sells very high. Event Edited by Bcadren, Sep 26 2011, 01:43 AM.

I just went through all the items and decided to make a list of all the items that might be even remotely acceptable. I hope that most people will agree with me! I may or may not post a small note about the item based on what I think about it. Remember, this is just a basic list; if you think an item is worthy of being put on this list (or unworthy of being on it), that's your decision. This is mine. Anger Crystal-- Only thing I can say about this is that it might be a little too powerful with the attack and special attack bonuses, EVEN WITH the confusion effect. I'd suggest calling it "Berserker Crystal" and adding the -1 Defense and Special Defense effects to it. And then... hell, it may be a Gmod item then O.o Bubble Coat Charitable Coin-- I don't see the practical use of this on a Pokemon, but it may be useful if you swap items with your target or something, and thus put a cap on the opponent's moves. If that's the case, this would certainly be a Umod item. Cursed Powder Guard Crystal Normalize Crystal Protective Orb-- I'm a bit iffy on the idea that this is a Umod item, but that's just me. Revenge Claw-- Due to the nature of this, make it AT LEAST Gmod. Seal Crystal-- Interesting. This means that both the holder and one target gets an ability sealed, right? Strength Crystal Area Heal-- This is NOT a Gmod item. Because we can have literally as many Pokemon as we can carry in a battle at once, this should be Admin. If you were to limit it to two or three Pokemon as targets, I'd still say this would be a Umod item. Perfume-- I don't know much about the nature of items that draw Pokemon in, but I'd say this could actually be moved down to Mod. Poketurner-- To be safe, I'd suggest making this Umod. Power Spray-- Perhaps this could be a one-time use item? Split Ball-- The idea that this is not only a Gmod item AND only $150 amuses me. Umod+ AT THE VERY LEAST, and I still don't think this would be accepted. Transceiver-- Since we just post about calling people from our Poketechs, I don't really find a huge practical use for this. It seems a lot like a Bluetooth to me; it just frees the hands. Fossil Egg-- Ehh, iffy on this one. Shield Crystal-- Because we sort of just move Pokemon away from battle, this is rather unneeded. Unless the ref is in a bad mood, he/she won't mess with these Pokemon unless it's part of a plot (or plot starter). Victory Medal-- I feel like the Admins would already have a version of this locked somewhere Anyway, there you go. I didn't bother with judgment on the sale price of the items, except for the Split Ball one. |

Charitable Coin is more like; if you choose to, you can make any move function like False Swipe. Say you had a level 30 pokemon battling a wild level 10; you can be all "Don't knock it out with this Thunder" and leave it with 2 HP left. Also useful when fighting a Wobbuffet to prevent high amounts of counter damage by choosing a lower cap to your attack. A less practical use would be like; don't do any more than 3 damage with this attack. [no particular reason]. You could also use it to set the cap at 1 and use a fire attack on a partner to thaw it without doing much damage; it's strategical uses are like that. Revenge Claw was put as Mod item, because it's single use. Seal Crystal; the holder and it's opponent in a single battle; the holder and a random (like RNGed Random) opponent in double and more battles. Area Heal; The item it's based on is limited to two; from a set intended only for double battles; I was thinking harsh cap at three for in battle effect and full team outside of battle (like Aromatherapy in a way). Power Spray; as it is right now, it's like a one time BOOST; similar to an X-Attack or Guard Spec. pokemon it's used on has the bonus of ignoring abilities, until it's switch or knocked out. Split Ball; it was low because a regular pokeball costs $60; so you'd have to successfully catch at least 3 pokemon at the same time to make "a profit" as compared to just throwing normal ones. Cases of more than six catchable pokemon being spawned are rare and even if you were spawned a passing herd of Tauros; if they had full health and each of the balls produced had the catch rate of a normal pokeball; how many you think you'd actually catch? 10%? 5%? less? Transceiver; could be practical for multi-tasking; though I kind of forgot you could already make calls, since I've never had a reason to; might be worth bumping the price down over that. On ones not mentioned: Mysterious Crystal; my first thought was a big NO (original TCG effect is blocking all damage from legends); then I dampened it and thought it might be something someone might get if there ever was a reward/nice trip to the nothingness. Ninja Sash; meant to be comparable to making any move work like U-Turn, Volt-Switch etc. when called that way. Level Max; first thought was "be a good event prize, probably can't be a normal item though." Second thought was, because it uses your current team as a cap, it's both more and less useful than a normal rare candy (can't raise your high level pokemon's level, which needs a lot of experience, but can raise up to it). [TCG effect is instant level 100, btw] Aqua Ball/Magma Ball; I know the EFFECTS are acceptable, it's just a question of whether items with those canon team associated symbols could pass really. Durilum Berry == Berry form of Air Balloon Fluflion Berry == Berry form of Pokedoll Memkin; yea I realized it might be too strong; but it's TCG effect of being able to use a move it forgot because it evolved; doesn't make sense in other canons. Time Crystal; effect wise, it does to a small group of production pokemon what an Egg Container does for an egg. Need for a legend associated for it to make sense is probably a problem though. |

Not a big fan of the hold items to be perfectly honest. I see where some of them may have a use and are plausible but I personally would not use them. That is just my opinion though. The Use Items I see more of an application for, though not quite sure about the Level Max as I feel players should work to level their Pokemon not be granted a free boost, but the others I like. I do feel the Perfume does have its weaknesses on the site as you can just ask for a Pokemon to be spawned. I aso generally spawn Pokemon even if they won't be battled to just add something. I do like the others though. Same with the balls and berries new effects and items could be useful. The Poketech and other items I'm not 100% sure on and don't really see much use for them. Well, that's my two cents. |

I agree with Miles to a sense, but I don't care for a vast amount of these items... Also, I think you are trying too hard. You've submitted, what? 5 fakemon/items/moves in the past week now? I really think you need to take a time out and just... chillax for a while, you know? Kinda overkilling it all when you post up so much in such a short amount of time. Give us some time to help you rework the stuff we have issues with, don't just post up more and more. It's pretty annoying. | |||||||||||

I stand by the choices I made. Anything I didn't put on there means that it's probably not gonna happen, especially the berries, and the Pokeballs. The thing is, the special guild Pokeballs are not gonna work because Captoris Corporation couldn't get a boost to their own specific Pokeballs (as in, no bonus toward other Pokemon types, etc.). The berries are kind of like the TMs; just not likely. Everything else in my posts stand the way I have them. Oh yeah, and you should quit using the TCG effects to prove some point, as if you graciously toned it down for all of us. It's not gonna work, plain and simple. |
