Basic Information: Name: Corsola Horn Item Sprite: ![]() Optional Image: It's an edit/reshade off of a horn grabbed from Corsola's Gen 5 Sprite. Needs Transparency. Item Information: Weight: 0.75 lbs. Height: 6" Effects: It shines the seven colors of the rainbow when held in the sunlight, making some regard it as a jewel. When the horn touches poison, it becomes discolored and crumbles, absorbing the poison and making it settle into a sand in the process. [Held-Item] If the holder is poisoned or paralyzed and is then switched out and back into battle; when it re-emerges from it's pokeball the status will be cured and a bit of the horn will have crumbled away; this works five times before the horn is completely destroyed. [Use Item] Can be used to purify water: one may be used to produce twenty Fresh Water; if the appropriate bottles are also available. Also, can be used to help clean ponds/lakes on farms to keep them suitable for water Pokemon, especially after a Grimer or other toxic Pokemon got too close to them. Production Notes: There are four large enough to harvest on the average Corsola; when they've been taken it takes twenty posts with the Pokemon in clean water for their horns to regrow. The pokemon cannot have recently battled when the horns are harvested, because of ease of them being damaged and even broken off in battle. There is a chance if the pokemon is well taken care of for this period the horn will just become too large and be shed on its own; otherwise it can be cut, carefully with steel sheers so as to not harm the Corsola itself. Sale Value: $500 Note: All numbers are subject to tweaking; I put my ideas down, but admin rebalancing is certainly welcome. I tried to be fair in value based off of Big Pearl and other production items. Only the "four large enough to harvest" is really set in stone, because that's based off of the canon depiction of Corsola, four large horns on it's back, a small one above it's eyes and shorter ones as arms and legs. Not sure why you have the effects you have, but they don't make sense to me as of right now. Perhaps elaborate on why you chose those specific in/out of battle effects? Also, as we all said in cbox, there really isn't a use for an item that purifies water. |

"Corsola's branches glitter very beautifully in seven colors when they catch sunlight." -Ruby Pokedex [Source of the Jewel/Valuable Item reference] "The points on its head absorb nutrients from clear water." -Crystal Pokedex "If the sea becomes polluted, the beautiful coral stalks become discolored and crumble away in tatters." -Emerald Pokedex The Purifying water to make FRESH WATER or to clean up after Muk was based on this. Even detached from the pokemon it'd absorb water and crumbles due to pollution; absorbing and settling the poison/pollution in the water in the process; real coral can do this on a very small level before it just dies. That combined with the pokemon's Natural Cure ability is the source of the held-item use. |

"Fresh Water" ...If we are still using the Item's creation idea that Shad made...is made from water from Aqua Ring. Racer needs to say yes or no to Aqua Ring. |

Another one of my ideas held up for Racer; alright. Erm, could you link me to the "Item's creation ideas" to prevent further duplication of efforts (or if it's hidden, just PM me which items have explanations like that.) Thanks. |

Ok...First off. You should have read it as its part of the how to play. Since you have to ask I want you to read all of the How to Play now. Item Creation Thread Basically this is just how Roku and I made our shops. Fresh Water isn't on there, its just something that was spread due to various journeys that was started by Shad. It may be in the Q&A but I'm not searching for it. |

There's an item creation thread for custom items that says "Custom Items Only" that I've read before [what you just linked]. As far as I know; there aren't any explanations of how to make canon items like Fresh Water or Charcoal anywhere. I had forgotten that character-tied custom items didn't have to go through the regular process and could be done through Admin PM, but that's beside the point; I was asking about canon items. |

As of right now only Fresh Water was the only Canon one. I was gunna list Canon recipes in that same thread, but there was an adamant argument against being able to make Canon items. Fresh Water is the only thing that was okayed before, but that has to be cleared if its still ok. |

Just to say it; I have some ideas for recipes for canon items. Couple quick examples off the top of my head: these pokemon In both cases; PAIN IN THE ASS; but may be worth it. I can just remove the FRESH WATER note here though if necessary. |

You can use it to purify Water, but without Racer's say so, making "Fresh Water" is a bit on hold. |
