Here you are on your own and you chose to come to Millenia Town... A decent choice, I suppose. You and your Snubbull made your way through the streets, gawking at the tall buildings that seemed to be all around. Millenia wasn't as superb as Kijutsu in the skyscraper department, but they did have a wonderful ocean view to make up for it. There were docks with boats, a fish market, and even a beach to go soak up the sun... And tell everyone to lighten up. Maybe tell them that you've got no one to blame, that every time you feel lame you'll just go soak up that sun. Ahem, back to that beach over there. So, it was a pretty cool place to hang out. There were a group of trainers just hanging over there, a couple girls around your age were sprawled out on the sands in itty bitty bikinis. They were simply sunbathing, nothing more about it... Besides the two girls, there was a guy a little older than you with what seemed to be a younger brother and sister nearby. The younger ones were splashing each other in the shallows of the water, while he simply stood watch over them. Nothing all that interesting was going on, but I'm sure you could go talk to some of the people and make a friend or two if you really wanted to. If human interaction didn't spark your interests any, there was a fish pestering a Surskit off towards the docks. From what you could tell, the fish had a bit of pink on it, but the rest of it's body was blending in with the waves it was near impossible to figure out what it truly was. Kinda curious though that a fish would be trying to eat a Surskit though. Maybe the fish was bigger than you thought. Care to check it out or would you rather mingle with those pretty gals in the itty bitty bikinis? Oh, there's also a random Bidoof just standing on the docks and drooling like an idiot. Have fun, Trainer!

Soren looked at everything going on, there were multiple people on the beach, so he could probably find a trainer to battle, and then there were a few pokemon. He really liked Surskit, but he figured he could catch one later on in his journey. The trainer didn’t really know what to do, and so he continued down the beach with his Snubbull. It was kind of crowded, but Soren quickly figured out that if you walked down by the waters edge you avoided most of the people. He wanted to catch a pokemon, but didn’t really know what he wanted.. He knew that he would more then likely run into a water type, and so he started thinking of all the possibilities. Squirtle, Krabby, Staryu, Lapras, Totodile, and Marill would be nice to have. Soren didn’t plan on sticking in Millenia for very long, and so he wanted a water pokemon who could maneuver on land as well as in the water. The trainer and his Snubbull would continue down the coast looking for a possible battle. Every so often, Soren would glance down to see if Snubbull was still at his side, he didn’t want to take the chance of losing him. For all he knew, some guy with a Tangela could put them to sleep, and while he was unconscious, steal his pokemon… now that would suck. Anyway, the two continued searching for some pokemon, which hopefully wouldn’t take too long, but |

.: Millenia Town .: Beach So, you're looking for a water-Pokemon that was suitable for land as well? That's a tall order. You might have been better off just fighting all those wild Pokemon to make your Snubbull more powerful, but to each their own. I'm not here to tell you how to do your job. I just hope that you find what you're looking for. As you walked along the beach, you kept one eye on sea, and the other on Snubbull. Out in the surf, something caught your eye. It was blue, and round. Long tentacles flailed around it. Could this be the horrible monster Cthooloo?! Your heart skipped a beat in anticipation. Oh, no, sorry. You probably guessed that as a simple mod, I can't spawn Cthooloo for you. No, out in the surf you've spied a Tentacool. ![]() Level 4 ![]() Hmm... Tentacool were good Pokemon, but maybe not what you were looking for. If you want the Tentacool, go for it. But if you keep walking, you might find something more interesting. As you walk, you come to a beachside tavern called the Wailmer's Head. It's a tall building, with weathered, wooden siding. Outside of the tavern a few guys lean against the building, drinking beers. Two of the guys are pale, wearing sunglasses and wide hats. They had the look of tourists. But, the guy they're watching has his Pokemon out. The Koaloon darted around the beach, grabbing tanning lotion, sodas and other items from the pretty girls nearby. Then the guy "has" to return the item, and maybe try to get a number from her too. Might be fun to knock this guy down a peg. Especially in front of the tourists. :koaloon Level 6 ![]() Well, if the jerk at the tavern wasn't your cup of tea, it looked like you had one more chance. Nearby you heard a rustling sound. A bag of trash rustled around, and a Corphish ripped his way out. He had an angry scowl on his face, as he fought with the trash and the bag. His biggest problem seemed to be some plastic bags had wrapped around one of his claws, and he couldn't get free. ![]() Level 5

As he tracked through the soft sand of the beach, Soren spotted a Tentacool out in the ocean. Although they weren’t good at first, when they evolved they became quite powerful. Maybe one day he would own one, but today wasn’t that day, and so the trainer kept on. A few minutes after spotting the Tentacool, Soren came across a bar. There were a couple of people outside, and one of them had a pokemon that he had never seen before, but he was still on the hunt for pokemon at the moment, and so like he did with the Tentacool, Soren pressed on. As he walked passed the tourists and the other guy, the trainer heard a noise, and that’s when he saw it. When the little lobster-crab looking pokemon ripped through the garbage bag, and smile sprouted across the trainers face. A Corphish would be a perfect addition to his team, while he preferred a Krabby; Corphish was just as strong if not stronger and would make an awesome partner. Soren would take a few steps towards the pokemon, and would then crouch down. The Corphish had what appeared to be plastic bags wrapped around his claw, and Soren knew that he had to help the pokemon get them off. ”Hey there, you need some help?” he would ask, Soren then took a few more steps towards the pokemon, ”I’m not going to hurt you, just help you get those bags off of your claw” he said once more, this time with a smile. Hopefully Corphish would understand, and allow him to remove the bags from his claw. Maybe then the pokemon would join him, only time would tell. |

Millenia Town Beach Mid Morning As you offered to help the Corphish, he growled angrily, shaking the bag, hoping to dislodge it from his claw. He blew a Bubble attack up at the bag and into your face, unaware of the fact that you were even there and trying to help. His eyes widened as he held his claws over his face and started to cower slightly in your presence. It seemed like he didn't know you weren't going to hurt him, despite your promising him you wouldn't. Poor thing even started to shake. Aww... Well, with it being still now, and somewhat scared, would you try to help it again? Or was the bubble blowing too much for you and would you actually sulk off to some remote location? Or the beach bunnies are still around... Hey, there are options. But I'd make a choice if I were you, and quickly before Corphis runs away. Speaking of Corphish... It looked up you with a completely apologetic look. In fact, he looked completely scared. As you could hear, some one was coming up the beach. And it looked like it was a trio of 6 and 7 year old kids. The Corphish looked up and circled behind you to cower. So it appeared that the cause to the problem appeared. So THAT's how the baggie got on Corphish's claw! Well, go get'em tiger! |

The trainer was shocked at the pokemon’s reaction towards him; he was just trying to help. The poor crab was scared, and Soren didn’t know what else to really do to try and make it feel better. It had obviously had a few rough run-ins with people, maybe even other trainers, but Soren could change all that if Corphish would trust him. It was then that three kids would make their way over towards them, and once it saw them, the Corphish panicked. Soren watched as the Corphish hid away from the trio of children, so they were the reason for the bag. Well to be honest that pissed him off. Soren stood in front of the defenseless crab, and stared at the kids. Anger filled his eyes, and he was on the verge of snapping, ”Did you three put that bag on this Corphish!?” he asked angrily. Soren couldn’t stand people who physically harmed or messed with pokemon who entertainment, and so he would not let the kids off so easily. The trainer would then remove two pokeballs from his pocket, and with the press of a button, made them expand to fit his hand. Soren tossed the orbs into the air, and soon two new pokemon would stand before him. One was a male Nidoran, and the other a Pichu. Sore had received them both from trades, and would hopefully now get to use them in battle. ”Hello guys” Soren began, ”I’m Soren your new trainer, and this is Snubbull” He said, pointing to the pup. Upon hearing his name, Snubbull jumped in front of Vlad and gave a happy cry of his name followed with a smile. After introductions, Vlad would then show his team the scared Corphish. ”This is are new friend Corphish, and he’s in trouble. Those three kids tied this bag to his claw, and so I need all three of you guys to cover me from those kids while I try to calm Corphish down and remove the bags. I don’t know if they have any pokemon to battle or not, but still keeping them away!” With his pokemon protecting him and the Corphish from the trouble-causing trio, Soren bent down and looked at the pokemon ”I’m not going to hurt you, but if I don’t remove those bags then there’s a possibility that you’ll die out here, and I really don’t want that to happen. Please.. Please let me help you” he begged. Soren silently prayed that the Corphish would understand that he wasn’t going to harm him like the kids had done, and would allow him to remove the bags. The trainer wasn’t lying about the dying part either. There was a high possibility that Corphish wouldn’t survive the wild with only one claw usable, and so he would do his absolute best to get this pokemon to trust him. |

.: Millenia Town .: Beach .: Morning As you approached Corphish, the little water Pokemon backed away. He didn't seem to understand that you were trying to help. He just kept shaking his claw, grunting at it. As the young children came closer, Corphish backed even further away, heading towards the water. It wouldn't be long before the lobster was in the sea, away from those children, and lost to you. Speaking of the children... The trio saw you, Corphish and your Pokemon. The mixture of emotions was plain to see. Excitement, anger, fear, and sadness played on each of their faces. A dark-skinned boy, maybe seven-ish, with a surprisingly big Afro approached you cautiously. "Hey man! Whachoo doin' wit mah Co'phish? I dun caw ih m'self!" Crap. This kid's from "da hood" and has a bit of a speech impediment. Don't you wish you had an English to English dictionary right about now? If you puzzled it out, this kid just admitted he'd put Corphish in the trash can, and was probably responsible for the bag wrapped around his claw. "Yeah! Dat's ower poke-mon!" A pale skinned, blonde boy chimed in. "I tink it poke-mon battle time!" "Co'phish? Beat dis fool up!" The last child, the one in the back, stepped forward. "Itookdadsgeodudeandnowimgoingtousehim!" And with that, the kid threw out a pokeball, releasing Geodude. "GeodudepunchthemandbitethemanohyeahthrowrockstoothenEXPLOSSION!" Geodude looked around, somewhat confused. Eventually he decided he'd just stand guard between you, your Pokemon and the kids. He stood, hands on- well, not hips exactly- but you got the general idea. Of course the wild, and terrified, Corphish wasn't about to follow the kid's orders. In fact, it backed even closer to the water's edge. As much as you didn't like the thought of it, you may have to capture Corphish to help him. Otherwise, he might just flee. Soren listened to the little brats as they spoke, but he would show them how to treat pokemon. As soon as the youngster sent out a Geodude Soren smiled. He had just received a pokemon through a trade that would beat the hell out of the rock with arms. The trainer reached into his pocket and pulled out one more pokeball. He would then expand the ball by pressing the center button like he did the others, and then send it hurling into the air. A flash of red would be seen as the energy blasted from the ball, and onto the ground. The energy quickly took shape, and within seconds Soren’s new Shroomish would stand in front of him with the rest of his pokemon. The plant looked a bit confused, but there wasn’t time for any proper introductions. ”Hey there Shroomish, I’m your new trainer, Soren, and right now I need you to battle that Geodude.” Soren knew that the pokemon would follow his orders, but the trainer kind of felt bad for the pokemon, but like the others as soon as this was over, and Corphish was safe, Soren would make sure to introduce himself properly to his new pokemon. ”Ok Shroomish, let’s hurry and get this over with I want you to start off by focusing on your Special Attack, and then use Absorb on your foe twice! It may not be a very powerful move, but at least it will cause your opponent some damage, and heal you in the meantime!” Soren knew that he had this battle in the bag, but something else needed his attention as well.. Corphish was trying to escape! He really didn’t want to have to hurt the defenseless pokemon, but it appeared as though he had no other choice.. ”Pichu, your up next! We can’t let Corphish escape into the ocean; it’ll die out there! So we have to knock it out and catch it. Like Shroomish, I want you to start off by focusing on your Special Attack, and then use two Thunderbolt attacks on Corphish! If it attacks back do your best to avoid them, you’re still a baby and I don’t want you to get hurt! Now let’s go guys, we can do this!” |

Millenia Town~ Beach It seems you had two battles on your hands, two battles that were being waged for very different reasons. One was to protect, the other to destroy. How would your strategies affect the outcome? Find out next week on Wayward Warrior! ... Okay, so now that you've realized that your entire existence is to entertain the masses and to make money off of selling your soul to modern media empires, we can move on to the substance of this ref! The kid in front of you had already yelled out some sort of weird cacophony of attacks that his Geodude clearly didn't know, while your Shroomish calmly received his orders and started to Focus on his Special Attack. Noticing that his Geodude wasn't doing diddly squat, the boy looked at his friends and asked them what Geodude knew. They huddled up and conversed (quite loudly), and they gathered that Geodude probably had Tackle. "OkayGeodudeusetwoTacklesandhithardandfastandraisins!" By some divine power the rocky Pokemon actually got pertinent information from the slew of words, and charged Shroomish. The mushroom Pokemon quickly used an Absorb, sucking up energy before Geodude slammed into him with a Tackle. Shroomish got up and used Absorb again. At this point Geodude was severely weakened, but he still overpowered his urge to give up and Tackled Shroomish again; this one was much much weaker though.
Meanwhile, you were facing a moral crisis closer to the sea shore. Corphish was stubbornly preventing you from removing the bag on his hand. The only thing left to do, to save him from certain death, was to knock him out so you could help him. It was an unfortunate task you were handed, but it was all for a good cause. Probably. Thunderbolt was a very strong attack that required a lot of energy to execute, so it was no surprise that after Pichu Focused on his Special Attack, Corphish was the first to act defensively. He shot Bubbles right at Pichu, which popped and damaged the little mouse-like Pokemon. The actual attack's damage was less than stellar, but the immense level difference was killer. Pichu shrugged it off and fired the first Thunderbolt, and let's just say Corphish was "shocked" ( =D ) that you, a friend, attacked him. Unfortunately, he was also paralyzed, so moving to Strike you or Pichu was not an option for him. Instead he fired more Bubbles. Pichu tried to dodge, but the attack was too wide-ranged. Pichu mustered up the energy to zap Corphish again, and it turns out two Thunderbolts at close-range were pretty effective against water-based crustaceans; Corphish was unconscious on the shore. You nailed him pretty hard, so you better have a damn good excuse for him when he wakes up. Still, all that was left was to capture him and remove the stupid bag from his hand, and I suppose that was the primary objective. Good job, Wayward Warrior!

Soren watched as his pokemon battled. First up was Shroomish, who he didn’t really worry about, because of his type advantage. Shroomish went in and kicked some Geodude ass pretty much, well, the rock type hadn’t fainted yet, but Soren knew it wouldn’t last another round.. Hopefully. Shroomish also took some hits, but thankfully the nutrients he was able to absorb from his opponent helped heal him a bit. The trainer knew that this battle was near complete, and so he would quickly shout out Shroomish’s commands, and get this all over with. ”Good job Shroomish! Now then, use one more Absorb and let’s finish this! If it dodges somehow, then use a second one!” Soren commanded. The little dual-colored pokemon gave a quick burst of it’s name before heading back off into battle to finish his duties. Next up was Sorens baby, Pichu. He had just recently got the little critter in a trade, and already he had found a place for it in his heart. The battle between Pichu and Corphish was fierce! To be honest the little mouse barely survived it, but then again Pichu was still a baby after all. The tiny mouse came out of the battle victorious, Thunderbolt had proved to be both extremely powerful and useful, and Soren liked that. Now then, after Pichu had knocked out his foe, Soren quickly reached for a pokeball, and then he would toss it at the crab. Hopefully, the capture would be quick and easy, but there was always a chance that it could break free. After tossing the pokeball Soren would face the kids. ”You guys need to learn how to be respectful to pokemon!” he would shout, ”How would you like it if I threw you guys into a trash can? I bet none of you would be very happy…” After that Soren just stared at them with anger filled eyes, this was far from being over. |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
Millenia Beach... ...Close to Noon The boys stared at you, in anger and disbelief. With Corphish down, the one boy from "da hood" seemed to be the one in the most disbelief. He was taken from the situation, thinking that Corphish could have won. Though, he would not have been totally wrong. Pichu was in a dire state, with his health low, you wouldn't be using him for now. Leaving it all on Geodude was a mistake, if the boys thought that could work. With a mere Absorb, the Shroomish emerged victorious. As he would have from the start. With no more pokemon, what were the boys to do? Of course, they can threaten you. "You'll be sorry." one of them said, before they ran off. Their silhouettes disappeared from view, but something happened. They forgot something. Laying in the sand was the Corphish from the one boy. He had been exhausted, and after the battle, he wouldn't be moving for a little while. But nothing was so simple. Almost immediately after the battle a voice echoed through the beach. The sand carried it in every grain it could, as a stampede of a couple ran up to you. They were in beach wear, obviously out to enjoy the sun and entertainment of the beach. However, their faces said that they were not enjoying. The couple had kept looking behind them, and when you did, you found something disturbing. A boy was lying in the sand, on his back, covered in red. "Sir, hurry, my son!" The man of the couple had been talking so quickly, you only made out a few words. He was waving his hands, and making fish gestures. "A pokemon attacked our son, and now he needs help." At first, you'd think 'Take him to a hospital' but the woman quickly jumped in and explained how the Pokemon Center and clinics were closed. One being for reconstruction, the other being it too early. "The only place we can think of is Nogou or Kijutsu! Trainer, would you be willing to help us get to one of the towns? We're from Peddleton on vacation. We're not Trainers, and the road there can be harsh." *Shroomish gained 15.6 from the Trainer Battle!*He grew to Level 7 with 4.6 left over! After the kids left, Soren rolled his eyes. ”Kid’s these days..” he began, ”freakin’ pathetic..” Almost instantly after that, Soren turned to face the fainted Corphish. He reached down into his pocket and pulled out his last unused pokeball. By pressing the center button on the red and white orb, it expanded, fitting into the palm of his hand. With a slight smile, Soren through the pokeball at the crab, and hoped for the best. This would be his first actual capture, and the thought of it was starting to make him excited, but that would soon change. It all happened so fast. At first he was catching a new ally, and then he was being asked to take a small family from Peddleton to the nearest hospital. Which according to them, was in either Nogou or Kijitsu City. Soren didn’t honestly want to go to Kijitsu, but from what he heard it was the closet town to Millenia. ”Alright, I’ll take you to Kijitsu, but before we head out I need some pokeballs. Only problem is that I’m out, maybe you guys can buy me some. That sounds pretty fair, right?” he would ask the couple. |

Millenia Town --> Route 3 Mid-afternoon Bright sun Look at you, helping out like this. The parents nodded quickly and grabbed their child. People are so selfish, no one else offered to help. Oh well, more glory for The fastest path to Kijutsu is through Route 3, so that's where you guys went. It didn't take long to get out of the city. The path was pretty straightforward. It was very beautiful. There were flowers and trees all around you, and the sky was bright and hot. A perfect day, weather wise that is. On your left you could see vast mountainous cliffs rising high into the sky, also filled with forests and plains. On your right was the majestic ocean, sparkling with all its beauty. If only you could stop to appreciate the wonders of nature. ou only got about half an hour into the journey before you found your first obstruction. There was a horrible fight going on in the middle of the path. A poor Petilil was being attacked by a vicious Lustoat. The red dog was blasting Embers at the poor grass type. The hot sun didn't help, adding damage to the fire. Thankfully Petilil's Chlorophyll helped her move quickly out of the way, but she was getting tired. Oh, you simply MUST do something! Corphish was still too weak to use, and so was Pichu, so you'll need someone else. Or, you could just keep walking. The Lustoat doesn't seem to have seen you, so you could maybe sneak by.
