Okay, so these are my ideas for the Wizard/Witch Pokemon. =3 Enjoy! <3 If anyone could do an awesome job with some awesome spriting skills, I'd be quite happy! =D
Neophyce and Apprentaze I'm aiming to be Uncommon Urban Pokemon. While Whizark and Wishra are Urban/Cave Rare.
Pokemon
Neophyce Basic Information:Pokémon Name: Neophyce (Neophyte + Ice) Pokémon Sprite: Optional Image: IMAGENESS Species Information:Pokémon Species: The Ice Wizard Pokemon Gender Ratio: 100% Weight: 50lbs Height: 3’5” Type: Abilities: Fade – The Pokemon has a 25% chance to fade out of sight, dodging the attacks for a turn. Can only be used every 3rd round. Filter – Powers down super effective moves. Species Description:Species History: Neophyce and Apprentaze live in the urban areas of Alternia. Any place where people and Pokemon come together, they are generally there. They love to live in miniature groups of no more than 3. They care deeply for other Pokemon and people. They are generally a kind Pokemon and will not start a fight, but if provoked, these Pokemon can and will attack a target. These Pokemon have popped up within recent years in the region of Alternia. These Pokemon sometimes live in the forests as well, often loving nature and taking in much of their surroundings with pleasure. Some say they have seen Neophyce around mountainous regions with snow and cold climate. This is probably because of their affinity for ice. They love cold climates over hot/warm ones and will often produce a colder climate within an area if they are too hot. Story of the Staff: Neophyce and Apprentaze's staffs are created by them when they are first out of the egg. Once they arise, their first natural instinct is to craft something of value. At their birth, believe it or not, they have massive amounts of psychic energy which they feel they must excrete somewhere. So, at birth, the first thing they will do is find a tree branch that they can use to craft their new staff. Once they find the right one, they use their psychic energies to morph the staff into one of their liking, then imbue it with their alternate power. In the case of Neophyce, his alternate power is ice. In the case of Apprentaze, her alternate power is fire. Once they excrete these energies, the Pokemon then loses that first sensation right after birth, and their psychic powers decrease over the next couple days until they show signs of natural wave patterns for a psychic Pokemon of their age. Evolution Information: Neophyce - + Night - Whizark Learnable Attacks: [-] Teleport [-] Icicle Spear [-] Mirror Body* [6] Light Screen [9] Confusion [12] Haze [16] Future Sight [20] Icy Wind [24] Calm Mind [28] Psybeam [32] Cosmic Power [35] Psychic [39] Ice Beam [43] Magic Coat [47] Blizzard TM/HM List: TM04 Calm Mind TM07 Hail TM10 Hidden Power TM13 Ice Beam TM14 Blizzard TM15 Hyper Beam TM17 Protect TM20 Safeguard TM27 Return TM29 Psychic TM30 Shadow Ball TM32 Double Team TM43 Secret Power TM44 Rest TM45 Attract TM53 Energy Ball TM58 Endure TM67 Recycle TM70 Flash TM72 Avalanche TM77 Psych Up TM78 Captivate TM82 Sleep Talk TM83 Natural Gift TM85 Dream Eater TM91 Flash Cannon TM92 Trick Room Tutor List: Ice Punch Thunder Punch Icy Wind Trick Zen Headbutt Helping Hand Snore Swift Endeavor Gravity Headbutt Heal Bell Magic Coat Pain Split Role Play Egg Group(s): Humanshape/Fairy Egg Moves: Encore Barrier Ice Punch Thunder Punch Mean Look Destiny Bond Disable
Whizark Basic Information:Pokémon Name: Whizark (Whiz + Dark) Pokémon Sprite: Optional Image: IMAGENESS Species Information:Pokémon Species: The Master Wizard Pokemon Gender Ratio: 100% Weight: 125lbs Height: 5’3” Type: Abilities: Fade - The Pokemon has a 25% chance to fade out of sight, dodging the attacks for a turn. Can only be used every 3rd round. Resting Nightmare – If the opponent is asleep, their dreams have a 75% chance to damage them slightly and a 25% chance to heal them slightly every turn. Species Description:Species History: This Pokemon only evolves when it is given a dusk stone. Very few are said to roam about the world freely. If they are, they are hidden away within the dark recesses of Alternia, deep in caves and hidden from the life of others. This Pokemon is said to come out much more often at night than during the day, but they don’t mind daylight if they are trained. Wild Whizark are quite rare to see. They are mostly only evolved if and when a trainer gives them a Dusk Stone at night. Story of the Staff: Once evolved from Neophyce or Apprentaze, Whizark and Wishra become imbued with psychic energies once again. This first natural burst of energy as they are getting used to their new bodies is used to 'reformat' (so to speak) their old staffs into their new ones. This burst of psychic energy is used to transform the staff completely, allowing it to maintain imbued with a little of its past self and yet upgrade into allowing new energies to flow through it. This takes an extreme amount of energy and the Pokemon is generally quite tired afterwards. They then teleport themselves to a safe-haven so to speak, or somewhere that they know will be safe for the next day. This takes the rest of their energy, and they will fall unconscious as they reach their destination. If the Pokemon has a trainer however, they will be teleported into the trainers arms or near their trainer's body for protection for the next day. After they awaken from their slumber, the Pokemon is now completely in tune with their new body and will be able to use their psychic energies as usual. Evolution Information: Neophyce - + Night - Whizark Learnable Attacks: [-] Teleport [-] Icicle Spear [-] Mirror Body* [-] Dark Bolt* [8] Barrier [12] Confusion [14] Faint Attack [18] Future Sight [22] Hypnosis [26] Calm Mind [30] Shadow Ball [34] Psybeam [38] Cosmic Power [42] Moonlight [42] Psychic [46] Nightmare [50] Magic Coat [54] Dream Eater TM/HM List: TM04 Calm Mind TM10 Hidden Power TM12 Taunt TM15 Hyper Beam TM17 Protect TM20 Safeguard TM21 Frustration TM27 Return TM29 Psychic TM30 Shadow Ball TM32 Double Team TM33 Reflect TM41 Torment TM42 Facade TM43 Secret Power TM44 Rest TM45 Attract TM46 Thief TM49 Snatch TM53 Energy Ball TM58 Endure TM65 Shadow Claw TM66 Payback TM67 Recycle TM77 Psych Up TM78 Captivate TM79 Dark Pulse TM82 Sleep Talk TM83 Natural Gift TM85 Dream Eater TM87 Swagger TM92 Trick Room Tutor List: Fire Punch Ice Punch Knock Off Sucker Punch Thunder Punch Trick Zen Headbutt Helping Hand Last Resort Snore Spite Swift AncientPower Endeavor Gravity Headbutt Heal Bell Magic Coat Pain Split Role Play Egg Group(s): Humanshape Egg Moves: n/a
Apprentaze Basic Information:Pokémon Name: Apprentaze (Apprentice + Blaze) Pokémon Sprite: SOMETHING like Simirror from Kirby only with the colors being more towards the darker red colors or even pinks. Instead of the star on the hat, making it a fire symbol and the end of the staff being instead of a ball, making it a torch. Optional Image: IMAGENESS Species Information:Pokémon Species: The Fire Witch Pokemon Gender Ratio: 100% Weight: 40lbs Height: 3’2” Type: Abilities: Fade – The Pokemon has a 25% chance to fade out of sight, dodging the attacks for a turn. Can only be used every 3rd round. Filter – Powers down super effective moves. Species Description:Species History: Neophyce and Apprentaze live in the urban areas of Alternia. These Pokemon sometimes live in the forests as well, often loving nature and taking in much of their surroundings with pleasure. Some say they have seen Apprentaze also inhabit the more deserted areas of Alternia. They can heat themselves up using their staff if they become too cold. Story of the Staff: Neophyce and Apprentaze's staffs are created by them when they are first out of the egg. Once they arise, their first natural instinct is to craft something of value. Resting Illusion – If the Pokemon is asleep, they have a 75% chance to heal themselves slightly while they have a 25% chance to have a nightmare and deal slight damage to themselves each turn they are asleep. Attacks
Mirror Body Attack Name: Mirror Body Attack Element Type: Attack Type: Other Attack Power: D Attack Description: The user creates a mirror-like shield in front of them, allowing them an attempt to distract the enemy with their own reflection. Attack Effect: Attempts to distract the enemy and creates a diversion for the Pokemon to escape a fight or use it to their advantage in a fight. Thus, making it a trickster Pokemon that can be quite hard to catch if this move is used. Could give an accuracy debuff on the targeted Pokemon. Prerequisite Attacks: N/A - Pokemon that can Learn
-
Neophyce, Apprentaze, Whizark, Wishra
Holy Light Attack Name: Holy Light Attack Element Type: Attack Type: Special Attack Power: B Attack Description: The user creates a shell of light around them and their target, allowing for the attack to take place. Over the next few moments, the light within the shell completely eliminates any and all damage that the Pokemon or person had taken during the battle. Attack Effect: The user targets a Pokemon, or even a person, and heals the target's HP, Energy and rids them of all status ailments completely. This requires 40 energy and can only be used once a battle. After use, the user falls asleep from exhaustion. This move never misses and can be used on the user him/herself as well. Prerequisite Attacks: N/A - Pokemon that can Learn
-
Wishra
Dark Bolt Attack Name: Dark Bolt Attack Element Type: Attack Type: Special Attack Power: A Attack Description: The user creates a very large ball, about the size of the Pokemon or bigger, of dark energy and blasts it at the target, taking a lot of energy to cast. Attack Effect: This ball hits the target with force and instantly blasts nearby things with dark energy as well, causing but half of the damage put upon the original target. Upon contact, any Pokemon or humans (including allies) that are within a 20 foot radius of the blast will begin to feel very sleepy, causing sleep within the next three turns. First turn is a 25% chance of falling asleep upon the direct contact. Second turn is a 50% chance to cause sleep on the affected targets. Third turn is a 75% chance to cause sleep upon the affected targets. If the targets are still not asleep after the third turn, the affect has worn off and the attack will have to be reused. This costs at least 40 energy to cast but can be used more than once a battle if the Pokemon has enough energy to cast it. Prerequisite Attacks: N/A - Pokemon that can Learn
-
Whizark
Abilities

Whizark Net Telepathy Telempathy Levitation Telekinesis Aura Perception
Wishra Net Telepathy Telempathy Levitation Telekinesis Aura Perception Body Glow (staff)

While Whizark is more based around hypnosis and sleep, as they can actually learn hypnosis, dream eater, and nightmare. And finally, Wishra's strategy is more about healing herself and keeping herself asleep while battling in order to heal herself or status ailments.

a couple things jump out at me in the move section. i don't think any of the moves are inappropriate, just sort of jumbled. For instance, you have wishara learning four status moves in a row, and four offensive at the end. you should try and make it as balanced as possible, maybe making an offensive move, then a status move, then another offensive move, etc. the second thing is that psybeam should be learned before flamethrower & icebeam, which are considered luxury attacks imo. for example, i'd say something like
Wishara: [-] Teleport [-] Icicle Spear [5] Light Screen [9] Confusion [12] Haze [16] Future Sight [20] Icy Wind [22] Calm Mind [26] Psybeam [30] Cosmic Power [34] Psychic [38] Magic Coat [43] Ice Beam [46] Blizzard/Sheer Cold
something like that, where the moves are more interspersed. i'd say if the fire one is learning fire blast, the ice one should learn blizzard as opposed to sheer cold, but that's more of a personal choice.
also, the level gap should be a bit more fixed and less random. i'd also make it wider, since this thing is learning a plethora of high power moves, such as fireblast/blizzard, psychic, icebeam/flamethrower. i also don't know how i feel about calm mind & cosmic power both being level up moves, but once again that is more of a personal choice, as it doesn't really offend me.

Alright, I edited in the new move as well as redid their movesets to make them more uniform. About every 4-5 levels they will learn a new move. ^-^ Hopefully that looks better and is less random? xD Thanks to Silas for the better looking move set. ^-^

Major issue with two Pokemon evolving into one. I'd rather it stay near Canon and only Branch on evolutions and not have Branch Pre-Evos. It just seems very weird.

Okay. Thanks. xD That just means that I'll need to create a similar Pokemon that the other can evolve into? That works for me. xD I mean, I actually thought that it was a kinda cool idea, but I guess that I could take out the evo completely or have it be a totally different but related fakemon? O.o does that make sense?

All I need to do to make them 98x98 is change the attributes, I don't need to do anything to the actual sprites so yeh
