The Jester's back in town.

An awesome plan gone tragically wrong, though I knew the consequences if it was to go the wrong way long before I gave the orders. Looking back now, there were better ways I could of went about it, but instead of thinking about the usual speed of victory I apply to all my battles, I just wanted to take out the two opponents with better move sets, Goldeen and Psyduck. Now, Puppet is at the point where he can easily be taken out by Corphish and Goldeen, and there's little I can do about this beside get him out of the water and on to the safety of the land before Sparky does his work. 'Puppet, being the more physical component of my strategies, all damage that has been taken in battle has gone to you while Voltorb has sit back and destroyed these water Pokemon from afar. You're low on health, so I can't have you floating over the water where these Pokemon are lurking. I want you to use detect, then launch yourself out of the water using your levitate ability, and get back to shore, far away from the opponents and anything else lurking in the water. Then I want you to use Meditate.' Hopefully my efforts would not be in vein, and Puppet could successfully make it back without any trouble. And to help him out, my little Loony. So far this ghost type had carried out everything I asked as I had planned without any struggle, and I knew he'd be a good addition to my team, the only question remaining was, could he survive this next round? I know he's weaker then the rest of my team, and far weaker then all three of the opponents, but I have high hopes for him. 'Loony, it's your turn to take the spotlight. I want you to use another Minimize, then if corphish gets out of the water I want you to constrict him and drop him back in, if he doesn't, just use another Minimize. Then I want you to circle the Water where the Pokemon are, try and make them attack you, but watch them carefully and use your size and evasiveness to dodge any incoming attacks. We need to make sure Medititite makes it back to land safely, I can't have him being knocked out this battle, or you, so make sure you dodge all them attacks.' Escape route set, and a little plan for cover. All that was left was the assault. And offcourse I have no Pokemon better in this situation then my one and only Sparky. 'Alright, what you've got to do is probably the simplest, I want you to use charge, then release a thunderbolt in to the water. No matter what happens I need you to knock both, or at least the Goldeen out this turn. It's all up to you, show these water Pokemon what you've got.' and it was set, all I needed to do now was sit back and watch, and hope. In short (and order); Voltorb uses charge, Loony uses Minimize, and Circles the water. Constricts Corphish and drops him in the water if he tries to escape as done in first turn if Corphiush stays in the water it will use another Minimize. Meditite escapes the water and speeds on to land, using detect as a cover then meditating. Voltorb uses Thunderbolt on the water, hoping Corphish is still in it. |

It was hopefully going to be your final attack for the battle. Thunderbolt was proving to be an extremely effective move to use against these opponents, and although Meditite was taking a lickin', things were still going pretty well. But now it was time to move Meditite out of the water and finish the battle, yes? Sparky began with Charge, naturally, to boost up the power of its next move, Thunderbolt. That was going to be an S-ranked move, which was pretty much going to blow the two Pokemon out of the water. Meanwhile, Driff was slowly circling the water after using Minimize, which just increased his evasion and decreased his size further. The Corphish and the Goldeen were both confused that Meditite was not attacking yet, so they began to rush Puppet. However, Puppet used Detect on Goldeen's move and dodged it just in time, rushing out of the water to go use Meditate. Corphish would have chased after, but Driff was already using Constrict to grab him mid-air and throw him back into the water. And then came the spectacular conclusion to the show. Sparky, after seeing Puppet safely Meditating on the beach, and seeing both Corphish and Goldeen in the water, he released his Thunderbolt. And boy, was it a big freaking Thunderbolt. The bolt struck the water, sending wave upon wave of supercharged electricity all over the sea. Goldeen and Corphish, both in the immediate vicinity of the bolt, were shocked with great force. Goldeen was knocked out instantly; Corphish held on a little bit longer, but ultimately fell to the powerful attack. Well, break time! gained 14.3 and leveled up to Level 13, with 4.6/13 left over! gained 14.3 and leveled up to Level 13, with 3.2/13 left over! gained 28.7 and leveled up to Level 9, with 2.7/9 left over! learned Astonish!

The Jester's back in town.

Things where playing out exactly as I wanted them, Sparky executing charge perfectly while Puppet made a run for it, or more a float for it. Driff was playing the role of distraction, though the bait the little water Pokemon didn't take. Goldeen was eager to take on the small Pokemon levitating above the water, and it would of most likely been in success had Puppet not used detect. Corphish to, keen to attack went in for the kill, though with some quick play from Driff, the Pokemon was launched back in to the lolling waves with Goldeen, where they where both soon to meet the same demise as Psyduck. Puppet safely on the bitch, and Driff safely in the air, circling, Voltorb released a large thunderbolt in to the water. The electricity flowed through the water in waves, taking out the two final enemies that remained, ending the battle nearly as swiftly as the last, though by the looks of things this battle took that tiny bit longer. Not to worry, a victory is a victory, and with zero casualties on my side, I can't complain. With that massive thunderbolt ending it, another battle had quickly concluded. Only to be followed by a brief break on my side, where I expect the water Pokemon would form in the masses. It was quite clear I was far from wanted here, though I wasn't planning on leaving for to long, not any time soon anyway. I had things planned for ahead, and a lot of my time was going to be spent here. So, what's up first. Right now I don't really have any option other then heading to the Pokecenter, being in a position where I could be ambushed in a moment, I needed to have all my Pokemon at full health ready for the next battle. Luckily for me, the Pokecenter wasn't far out of reach, and my stop there wasn't all that important, though I did here a few whispers. Though I had already expected what was to come, Hopefully I had enough time to prepare myself for what was to occur next in quick time, as there wasn't a moment to lose. 'Alright guys, before we head back to the beach, I'm going to have to do a bit of tutoring with you. Right now only Voltorb knows moves that are super effective to these water critters, tough all of you have the ability to learn some, so instead of making him the main man in our stage show, I'm going to give all of you the power to single handedly take out these Pokemon without any real problems.' So this is where things where going to get tough, how does one create electrical energy when they aren't electric? I could only come up with one way, and that was how I was going to have to get it done. 'Sparky, I want you to use Spark on Driff and Thunderbolt on Meditite, I'd get you to use a Thunderbolt on both, but Driff would probably be knocked out by a Thunderbolt. I need them to get a feel of your electrical attacks, so they can try and recreate that energy themselves.' 'Alright, Driff, once you've been zapped with a spark from Sparky, I want you to get a feel for that energy, let it flow through you, and then I want you to try and recreate that same energy, in a weak bolt known as Thunderwave. I want you to try and use your appendages as conductors of sorts, try and absorb the Spark in to you, then release the bolt of electricity at the ground.' I wasn't sure how well Driff would do. This move was nothing close to special, in fact it was the weakest electric move out, though it did have some strategic advantages. 'Puppet, it's your turn, I'm not going to be as detailed as the last tutor right of the back, because for this you're going to have to do things you really have no clue about. Once Sparky has used Thunderbolt on you, I want you to use your entire body as a conductor for that electricity, just like Driff, I want you to get a feel for it. When you think you're ready, I want you to clench your fist, and try and build up electrical energy in your fist, then I want you to throw a punch, something similar to force palm, though closed fist instead of open palm.' 'Sparky, after they have began there training I want you to try and use the electricity in your body to magnetize yourself. You're made of metal, so I want you to let the electricity flow through your inner and outer layers to magnetize your entire body, giving you the ability to levitate of the ground. It shouldn't be too difficult, so give it a shot. Just try and magnetise yourself before anything else.' All my tutors where set, now it was time to watch and wait. Hopefully they could get the hang of the moves quick enough so I could return to the beach for some more super fun training. |

![]() So, you decided to do some tutoring before you headed back to the beach, huh. Well, good idea, if you tutored some electric moves to your pokemon, then all of those water pokemon where in for a shock! So anyways, let’s begin with Loony, the Drifloon. You wanted to teach him Thunderwave, the weakest, but one of the most effective electric moves. You had Sparky use a Spark on Loony, and then you ordered your pokemon to absorb the energy inside him, and try and to duplicate the energy. As the spark hit Loony, he let out a small groan, the attack was painful, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle. The ghost felt the energy flowing all throughout his body, and he tried his hardest to feel the energy, and create it himself. Once Sparky was finished with the attack, Loony began working with the energy, trying his absolute hardest to re-create it, and to send it from his body towards his opponent in a small bolt. At first all he felt was the Spark still lingering in his body, but soon he felt more. Loony had been successful at creating his own electrical energy, but would it be enough? He continued building up the power, causing the ends of his appendages to start sparking with energy. Soon, after he felt like he had enough, Loony tried launching the energy forward. It came out in a small bolt, but only flew about two feet and then faded away. It seemed that Loony needed to add just a bit more power, to launch the attack, and he needed just a tad bit more energy to keep it in bolt formation. Well, you couldn’t say that he didn’t do well on his first try, because he did amazing! I can see this tutor ending pretty quick. Thunderwave Learning Curve_60% ![]() Next up was Puppet, you were trying to teach him the move Thunderpunch, which was a good move to learn for any fighting type. Like Loony, you had Sparky use an attack on Puppet, however it wasn’t a spark, it was a full-blown Thunderbolt! You Voltorb charged up and released the bolt of electricity, hitting Puppet dead on! Your Meditite quickly tried getting the feel of the power, and then he tried to construct the same power inside of him. The difference between Loony and Puppet was that Puppet had to get the electric energy to surround his fist, he didn’t get it easy like Loony, but he could do it. Meditite began trying his best to build the energy within him; he could feel the energy running through his veins, and throughout his whole body, but he was having a difficult time trying to just build the energy up in his hands. He closed his eyes for a split second, trying to concentrate on the energy building up in his hands, and for a second you could start to see some sparks flicker every now and then, but nothing major. Finally Puppet swung, but it wasn’t really a Thunderpunch, it was more like a Strike with a bit of spark.. He needed to work on focusing the energy into his fist, and creating more of the energy as well, but it was a good first attempt. Thunderpunch Learning Curve_42% ![]() Last up on the tutor list was Sparky. Your Voltorb, after it was finishing zapping your pokemon, listened to your every word. You where trying to teach it Magnet Rise, I think anyways. Well, Magnet Rise would be a very useful move to learn for an electric type, and to be honest it shouldn’t be too hard to learn. Sparky started off by charging it’s body with electricity, it didn’t work out as well as planned, the pokemon just pretty much used Charge. Well, Sparky naturally had the ability to charge itself, but where the main focus would come in, would be to change the charge of either itself or it’s surroundings, giving it the magnetic repel that it was needing for the move to be complete. So instead of having Sparky just charge itself with electricity, try and see if it can change the polarity of the charge as well! That should make him levitate, and granting him the ability to use the move whenever you wanted! Magnet Rise Learning Curve_23% |

Out of everyone, it seemed like Driff was doing the best job. Probably because it was the easiest move I was tutoring out of the three, so it would be done the quickest. Which is good, because once that's done I need to move on to the next move with him, Sparky and Puppetonly have one move each to learn, from here Driff has at least 3 more, so I was hoping it wouldn't take too long or it was going to be a long time before I could get back to my training. 'Alright Driff, you're doing great. I want you to focus on building all that energy inside of you, I want you to use the energy that's already flowing through you from the last attack and keep trying to recreate it yourself, once you've done that and you think you have enough energy I want you to release it once again, try and keep form in the attack so it hits the ground nicely, and just keep practising it until you think you've got it perfect. It shouldn't be to much harder then that, you're doing great so far, just concentrate on building that energy and keep form of the electricity when you're attacking.' Hopefully, this would be the last for teaching Driff for this particular move, as it would be one stepping stone complete and I would be on to the next challenge with him. 'Puppet, I want you to focus on creating that electricity as well. Build up the electrical energy inside your body as best you can, then I want you to let it flow through your arm and your entire body and I want you to keep building on to it. Once you have enough, I want you to release it all in a massive punch at the tree again, and just keep repeating this process building up more electrical energy each time until you get the hang of it.' The second last tutor, and the second easiest move by the looks of things, but puppet was still doing good, and that's all I could ask for. 'Now sparky, your move is the hardest but that doesn't mean we can't do it. I want you to take a different approach, I want you to use your electricity to magnetise yourself, I want you to use it to try and magnetise the things around you, try and use the electricity flowing through your body to magnetise the electrons in the air, to pull yourself off of the ground.' By far the hardest tutor out of the three, it seemed this one wasn't going to be easy. Though, Sparky was one of my stronger Pokemon right now, so I had faith in him to complete this move without all that much hassle. Now it was time for one last thing, Squirt. A new member to the team, and it was time for him to learn a few new moves, though they wouldn't be tutors, not just yet anyway. For Squirt I am going to be using both my Attract and Blizzard TM's. His moves are the most limited out of the four of my Pokemon, so I was going to have to give him a boost if he was going to fit in to my team the way I was planning. Now, the final thing for now, tutoring Squirt a more powerful water move, Water Pulse. 'Alright Squirt, you're kind of the new kid on the block, so how about you show me and the rest of your new team mates what you've got? I want you to try and use bubble as a base for the move, but instead of blowing bubbles, I want you to build up water in your mouth, then release it all in a pulse of water. Build up as much water as you can, then I want you to release it all in a big pulse at a tree, so let's see what you've got.' note

So, you decided to make me ref another Pokemon too? That's okay; I'll just remember that for my next ref for you. Anyway, it turned out that some of your Pokemon were performing quite well, namely Driff, whereas others were struggling a little with their moves. And now you had Squirt, the little turtle that was new to your team. You slipped the two discs into your Poketech, and Squirt looked at the screen. The Poketech showed exactly how to use Blizzard and how to use Attract in Squirtle terms, and suddenly he got it! Now on to the training, right? The first Pokemon up was Driff as he tried to learn Thunderwave. It was surprising how quickly he learned the general idea of the move with little effort, but now he had to make the attack go farther and stronger. Of course, he didn't need enough to make it hurt, but enough to make the tree he was practicing on "paralyzed." He began charging the energy in his body, using the feeling of being shocked and its already prevalent electrical energy flowing through him as a reference for the attack. When he released all the energy into the bolt, it shot out of him like a bullet, striking the tree. The energy was released in a wave as the ball hit the tree. Congratulations. Driff learned Thunderwave!
Next came Puppet, the Meditite. He was attempting to learn Thunderpunch, and so far, it was going okay. He didn't get a good strike the first time, but this one would probably look a little bit better. This time, Puppet had to charge his energy within himself completely, instead of with Sparky's help. Feeling the energy pulsing through his body, he attempted to strike his respective tree, focusing on pushing energy into his fist. However, it was obvious that the attack would not reach its full potential; there was too much stray energy around Puppet. Puppet struck the tree, but the electric energy just dissipated all around him, forming more of a Spark move than a Thunderpunch. Now, granted, his attack had a little bit of electric "oomph" packed in it, but it wasn't much. Focus on control, and things might look a little better next time.
Are you aware of how polarization works? I'll put it in terms of the way our brains work: nerve impulses in our neurons. You see, impulses are allowed to pass through neurons by a system called polarization. Electric jolts make walls on either side of a neuron open, allowing potassium and sodium ions to pass through them. Because of the opposite charges of potassium and sodium, and the fact that they switch sides, this polarizes the neuron, which allows the neuron to move. Now then, this relates to Sparky because that's what he had to do; he had to polarize everything around him to let him rise. Sparky charged his own body, trying to let it flow out of himself and polarize the air around him. He was lifted a little bit more, but otherwise didn't work too well. If he keeps it up, though, he should be fine.
We finally come to Squirt the Squirtle. I hope you like the name I gave him, by the way. Anyway, after learning Blizzard and Attract, Squirt looked ready to learn this new move. It was, of course, Water Pulse, which was a pretty powerful water-type move. He first started by forming the motions for Bubble, which made bubbles begin to form in his mouth. Squirt kept his mouth closed, as he felt the bubbles pop inside his mouth. When he felt he had enough water in his mouth, he sprayed it. The problem was that he sprayed it. The idea was to shoot it all at once in some sort of wave-ish form. The attack also didn't seem to be powerful either, looking more like a Water Gun than a Water Pulse. Do those things and it will certainly get better.

Recurring, the taste of salt, as it began to crystallise on my cold lips as the fresh sea air slowly drifted passed. My eyes opened wide, tearing up just a little as they began to slightly burn. I was trying so hard to concentrate on what I had to get done in so little time, yet it seemed that it wasn't going to be as easy as I had first hoped. Driff was slowly becoming my biggest success story to date, though, his move was the easiest out of all those I had set I will admit. 'You've done great Driff, but now it's time to step things up a notch, It's time to move on to Shockwave. I want you to begin to charge even more electricity in your body, and I know, it's getting a bit repetitive, but the more electricity you charge, the easier it will become, and then we'll be able to head In the direction of the more powerful moves. If you're having trouble building up that energy on the inside of you're body, try building it up on the outside. Rub you're long appendages against each other and you're body to create static electricity, then try and absorb that electricity in, or circle it around your body so that only your appendages are charged. I want you to use your entire body as a conductor for the electrical energy, and I want you to build it up until you have it flowing through you entirely.' 'Now, when you get the electricity flowing through your body, I want you to use it to charge the electrons inside your body, by doing this, it will make it easier for you to create the electricity and control it. Basically, what I'm asking you to do is make yourself a electrically charged balloon. Once you have a suitable amount of energy, I want you to begin by releasing small shocks around you, just tiny ones, and at first I want you to only release very few of them. Then I want you to use whatever method of creating the electricity you find suits you best, to create more of the electrical energy then release it in higher dosages. I want you to try and release them as tiny lightning bolts, but not just one or two, I want you to release the electrical energy as tiny lightning bolts in every direction, 10 to 12 at a time. This way, no matter where the opponent tries to run off too to escape the attack, there will be to many of the tiny lightning bolts scattered for him escape the attack.' 'For you Puppet, you're going good, but I can see you're struggling on controlling that energy. Now, it's going to be difficult, but I want you to focus on pulsing that electricity through your body, and not just leave it lying around, I want you to let it basically circle your entire body, then I want you to switch the direction the electricity is running, and continue to do so until you feel like you can control the electricity that's flowing through you. Like Driff, I want you to use your body as a conductor for the electricity your building, so I want you to let that energy flow around your body, then I want you to take it all to your arm, I don't want you to do anything until you can move that electrical energy around your body by yourself, then take it to whatever arm you feel the least comfortable with using, and release the energy in a violent punch against the bark of the tree.' 'Sparky, you're doing well. All I really need you to do is what you're already doing, I want you to keep charging the air around you with the electricity inside your body, but I want you to begint o use more power to charge it. You're doing well, but we need more output so we can charge the air around you better to give yourself a better rise. Don't forget to keep charging your outer layer as well, just continue with what you're doing now, with more power, and we should be fine.' 'Now, it's your turn Squirt. You're the last one on the list, and I know you've already got some powerful moves in your list to back yourself up with, but we need a few more. Water Pulse is going to be a good start, and you've got the hand of releasing water instead of bubbles, so it was a beginning, now just to bring this attack closer to an end. I want you to build up as much water as you can, when you feel like you have enough, build up even more. Continue to build up this water until it's literally flowing out of your lips, then, I want you to release the water in a large wave-like pulse. I want you to launch it with as much power and flow as you can, if you focus on these key points, you should be able to take a big leap in learning this move. Let's go guys, I'm counting on you all.' |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Millenia Town... On a Beach... Driff wasn't far off, and this is talking while it is at zero progress. Thunder Wave is a baby version of Shockwave. Add in bigger power, and damage, and you nearly have it. Of course, you know this; the reason you're trying it. Driff shouldn't have too hard of a time, though, we'll need to see. Having Thunder Wave at it's disposal, the Drifloon started to charge up electricity, and to help it, did as you said, rubbing it's stringy limbs together. Small, baby sparks started to wrap themselves around Drifloon's body, showing that the elemental energy was there. Now, to expand it with power and intensity, that was a different thing! Driff started to expand the electricity out, much like it would for Thunder Wave, though he tried to intensify it, and that is where it became a slight problem. The power was a little too much for such a step, though Driff had taken it well. The power had overwhelmed the purple pokemon, to the point that it had to stop, or at least hold off a little. Finally, it tried it again, and having built it all up, tried to shoot the bolts out, but they were tiny. Driff stopped all together, allowing it some rest for the few minutes. Looking to you, it wanted a little more instructions. Whether it simply tried it again, or had even more detailed instructions, Driff was going on the right path. Shockwave [ 55% ] For Puppet, this was a little different. He had a high percentage of progress; that much was for sure. Though, with no base, definitely controlling it was the issue. However, he would have a hard time learning it, so let us see how he does. Building up power, Puppet slowly tried to expand it. The outward movement from his body, and not just building it in his fist, requires a straining energy. It got to be a little much, whether it was normal, or him trying to push himself too far. Either way, his yelling and battle cry seemed to show, as a tremendous force tried sweeping away and around him. A certain aura, or tension, filled the air. He had been doing good, and was nearly done with what he could handle. Now, to put it in his fist. He picked his left hand, but faced a dilemma beforehand on which to actually choose. Sheltering it within, he slowly tried to move it down his arm, and into his clenched fist. Sparks started to show up on his hand, and soon engulfed his fist. The tension was very high; Meditite was focusing a lot of energy while not meditating, and he could surely use a rest later on. Though, Puppet was doing good. His fist was wrapped in the electricity, but was it enough? Swinging his charged fist, the bark seemed to snap in an instant, and sparks lightly burned the underlying wood. He had been getting more power into it, and it was safe to say he was more adept at building the move up now, but something was missing. Oh, yes; MORE POWER. Thunder Punch [ 90% ] Voltorb, lightly rolling on the ground, listened well. He had immediately starting charging up the energy. He was advanced in it. Thunderbolt is close to the top for the line of Thunder- moves. Thundershock, Thunderbolt, and Thunder. He had the energy building up, and by the progress he seems to have, started rising. A certain vibe came from the invisible bubble around your pokemon, having it lifting. It was that high off the ground, yet. As he kept going, and going, and going, Voltorb's altitude slowly climbed. It had gotten to about waist-height, before decreasing. He needed some more charge, but just building it up wasn't working. Maybe if he did it with a move that surrounds him. He'd get a lot of electricity that way! Magnet Rise [ 70% ] Squirt was learning a good move, but was it working out as well as you wanted it too? Listening to you, Squirt seemed to raise a brow muscle. He tried summoning the water up in his body, but more importantly his mouth. It seemed to swell up, filling his cheeks to make him look like a chipmunk. As funny as the scene may have looked, Squirt started to drool water. You asked him to go beyond, did you not? Well, having done so, it was too much. A large wave of water burst out, filling the ground from and away from Squirtle all in a drenched puddle. Water Pulse seemed to be more condensed them just a wave. (Maybe look on Bulbapedia, and find a picture. They sometimes help pokemon.) The Jester's back in town.

The sales and purchases have already been done, the only thing that needs to be done is the tutoring. Nausea. I was beginning to feel sick and out of place. While I wanted to stop and start some tutoring before I proceeded with any battles, enthusiasm began to lack and I found myself losing interest in the whole idea at an alarmingly rapid rate. It's hard to keep motivated with such things though, When you're mind is in a state of lock down and focused purely on one set thing. So really, now I was battling with myself, whether to continue or not with the tutoring or just leave my Pokemon halfway and return to the beach for some more exotic training? and the answer was really no coin toss, because each choice has it's own benefits and downfalls, and it wasn't something I really wanted to leave up to the flip. A lot of time passed and really all that was done was a bit of thinking and weighing up, so I decided to take a detour that led to neither routes and do a bit of shopping and selling, while shipping of most of my unwanted Pokemon to those trainers who may be a bit more interested via Poketech. The sales led to a decent uprising in my wealth, but a few things still had to go before I was ready to go on a shopping spree of sorts. I headed to the local Pokemart, handing over a two items that had no use to me now, my Egg Container and Choice Band, and handed the man behind the counter a list of the items I wanted. The list read;
Okay, so maybe that wasn't really a shopping spree, in fact, it wasn't really that much in the scheme of things, but it was going to cost me about $1,780 of my After doing a bit of thinking, I realized that if I returned to the beach now, I had one Pokemon that knew electric moves that actually did damage, bar driffloon who was halfway there. So, despite my most driving urges to return to the beach, I decided that here is where I was going to stay until Driffloon was finished with shockwave. 'Alright Driff, let's get back to where we left off, okay? I want you to begin charging up that electricity once again. I want you to focus on getting as much electrical current as your body can handle flowing through you, so you don't become overpowered by it. Once you're at that point, I want you to begin launching small bolts of electricity at voltorb who's going to be rolling around. I need you to focus on your aim and speed, because accuracy with this move is a must. To learn this move completely, you're going to be able to perform it so it hits every time. To do this, I want you to begin to charge up the electrical current, then release 8 - 12 bolts towards the target as it moves, directly at it, in front of it, behind it, in every direction the Pokemon can move, I want a full speed electrical bolt flying in that direction, you understand me?' I smiled. Driff nodded, looking at the voltorb that was rolling on the ground behind. It was an electric Pokemon, so electricity wouldn't do to much to it, it was really the perfect target for this move. Voltorb and Driffloon took there positions, and as fast as it could, the small ball of metal began rolling around. 'Alright Driffy, it's time. Start charging up that electrical energy, until you have the max amount you can control, you know what to do from there!' Orders where set, positions where taken, Shockwave was the final move left on my list of tutoring for now, and then it'd be back to battling for me. Edited by Rem, Mar 9 2011, 06:06 AM.

Beach in Millenia Town Drifloon immediately started to charge up the electricity within himself. The Voltorb then started to move around, forcing the balloon to really focus on its aim. With good aim, this tutor could be over soon. And who wouldn't want to be relaxing on the beach on this becoming sunny day, where things are looking clear and peaceful. Either way, the hard work could pay off. Drifloon released some energy, and it skimmed Voltorb. That attempt wasn't good enough, so trying once more, the Drifloon had been charging. A silhouette entered the immediate area, squirting water at the rolling Voltorb, and your feet. Drifloon's release scared it, but it helped Voltorb slow down enough to be hit. The shockwave was becoming very, very good. What the silhouette seemed to be was a Buizel. The otter-like pokemon wanted nothing more then to be played with. Hell, it seemed it'd join you if necessary. You didn't come off as the best person, putting the pokemon through hard work on a sunny day. The Buizel liked to relax, and may not be fit for you. Until you leave, it'll be here messing with you. Although, you could always take care of it... Lv.16Move Tutors |

The small balloon floated a foot or so above, its body almost being taken by the wind as it passed by. The electrically charged limbs waved to the right, often stopping momentarily until the wind once again picked back up. For such a little, weightless thing, how it managed to even stay in one spot with even the smallest gust of wind was beyond me, but it could more then capably hold ground when needed. Taking its attention away from the natural courses of nature, the small balloon steadied itself even more and began charging more electrical energy within itself. The first bolt hit, but just, skimming the Voltorb doing next to nothing, before an unknown obstacle entered the training area. Shooting water out of its mouth, the silhouette approached, but it was the least of my concerns even after it finally formed. I was asphyxiated on finishing this tutoring before I even considered getting myself in to a battle with anything, or anyone. With little choice, I decided I would move on to a different area until the tutoring was done, but that was really only a problem for one of my Pokemon. ‘Sparky, I want you to use charge and then I want you to release a massive thunderbolt on Buizel, then after that I want you to use thunderbolt once more. Try and take the Buizel out as quick as possible, I need you to stall it while I continue to train Driffy.’ I mumbled, though clear enough my words where to be understood by Voltorb. ‘Alright Driffy, you’re doing great. I want you to keep charging that energy, Voltorb is going to be a little bit distracted this time, so I want you to pinpoint your aim on the rustling leaves, these objects will be smaller, which should make up for their limited movement, but I think all you need now is aim and you should be finished with the move. Focus on your aim and power, and keep pushing out as many bolts as you can, as quickly as you can. Speed and accuracy are a must, but I know you can do it,’ I smiled. I’m all for killing two birds with one stone, or one otter with two thunderbolts. |

Beach in Millenia Town Sending Sparky to fight right now was the best option, but soon it would be awesome to have Driffy come out and try the new move you've been teaching it. Voltorb seemed eager to fight, and the Buizel started to sort of dance, happy that it found someone to play with. It watched as Voltorb used Charge, having a special power start forming and increasing the electric arsenal it had. Totally oblivious, the Buizel never truly realized the Thunderbolt that was coming. It was way to much power; a second one became overkill and Buizel fainted on the spot. After all, it just wanted to play and you basically cooked it up. But this entire thing couldn't get better, right? You just had gotten rid of a Buizel. Wrong, all the way. "Whoa!" A young man, about the age of thirteen, came running up. He was only in swim shorts, had getting to the beach early been too much? He tucked a hand under the Buizel's head, and caressed the pokemon's belly. "Why the hell did you do to my pokemon!?" The boy's voice raised immensely. Behind him came a pokemon that looked pretty cool. A Wartortle, ready and angry and eager to battle you. It stared you down for a minute, before looking at Voltorb. Oh, it was ready for some revenge. It knew of its type, and how it wouldn't do good, but he had to try. Level 17EXP Move Tutors As for tutoring, you had Driff focus on the leaves that moved with the wind. The bad thing was that at the beach line, there hadn't been to many leaves. The amount that was present proved to be just enough, and so the Drifloon tried. It had zapped each of the leaves, missing only one. But that was okay, because it hit a target and that is what matters. It was safe to say that Driff there had mastered the Shockwave move. Edited by Kazuki, Mar 11 2011, 09:57 AM.

Seemed like child’s play, taking down that buizel. Stealing candy off of a baby was never something I fancied though. Two thunderbolts and the Pokémon was lights out, though I guess that isn’t really surprising, it was becoming a daily routine around here, water Pokémon getting fried, I’m surprised I don’t have misty after me, or some other crazy water lover. No, instead I just have the entire wild population of Millennia Beach hunting my head, how fun, it’s a shame most of them are water types though, really. And here I was thinking it was just another wild Pokémon lookin’ for a good time, but now that tutoring was all said and done, this wasn’t really a problem. ‘Look kid, you can blame yourself. You shouldn’t let your Pokemon go walk around alone unless you want them to get fried. Now, I’d advise you to take a hike before your Wartortle gets fried as well, but I think I’m going to enjoy turning your Pokémon in to charcoal.’ I giggled, nodding to voltorb. ‘Alright Sparky, I want you to use charge once again, then use another Thunderbolt, Driffy, I want you to use Thunderwave to try and paralyse the turtle, Then minimize so it’s even harder for it to hit you. Once you’ve done that, I want you to finish your turn off and use Shockwave, let’s show this water lover how it’s done.’ Honestly, my mood for a battle had just hit overdrive. I suppose, it would have been far nicer for me to habe let the kid off with a little warning, or something, but I doubt it would have passed. I mean, him and his Wartortle seem ever so eager, and willing to battle, so why not make the best of it? Besides, right now would definitely be a good time to test out the new move, Shockwave, even if the Pokémon’s 8 levels higher than driffy. Edited by Rem, Mar 11 2011, 10:32 AM.

Beach in Millenia Town The trainer didn't seem like he wanted his pokemon to back done. Through his anger, he didn't even come to think of how he was going to lose. For that, the foolishness would only cost him, thus benefiting you. Of course, the possibility of another pokemon that isn't a water type is possible, but very unlikely. Looks like you're getting off easy this time. "Wartortle, do damage!" The trainer said, returning the poor Buizel to a pokeball. The Wartortle took a step, and then another, while trying to puff out his chest and seem tough. The act was boogus, and could've been done way better. Instead, Voltorb and Drifloon had other plans, ones that would make life so much easier for you. That is, well, attacking. Voltorb started to charge up, only boosting his next move. The Wartortle seemed to wait, but this allowed Drifloon to use Thunderwave. It brushed over Wartortle like it was Death's cold hand, freezing the muscles in the turtle. Watching, as only it could, Wartortle found Drifloon appearing smaller. Temporarily shrinking was only a better part. Still paralyzed, Voltorb was using it to his advantage. A mighty Thunderbolt left the sphere and crashed hard into the turtle, electrifying it like fireworks. In horror, the Trainer gasped, eyes widening. After it all, the Wartortle was still standing, though barely. The paralysis felt as if it weakened for a split moment, and the pokemon in danger wouldn't waste the chance, nor waste time. It released a Water Gun, letting it brush over the Voltorb. Drifloon zapped it with a Shockwave, a move that doesn't seem like it'll miss a mark anymore. Wartortle felt free, but not totally. It got close enough to Voltorb to gnaw on it, but only a good Bite. What a round... ‘You sure know how to command your Pokémon kid, such style and creative elegance. Do Damage! Very unique, very… powerful,’ I scoffed sarcastically, ‘It won’t be long until I deal the same cards to your Wartortle and you have to return him as well, just like your poor little Buizel there. And you’re Wartortle can huff and puff all it likes, it isn’t intimidating nobody.’ Like a light bulb, the little electric ball began glowing as it started to charge the electricity within, Driffloon took a semi-offensive route hitting the turtle with a quick Thunderwave as ordered, paralysing the Pokémon allowing ease of access for the rest of the round. ‘You and your Pokémon look a little Shell-shocked,’ I sneered, taking yet another comic crack at the turtle and his owner parading as a trainer. It wasn’t hard at all to tell that this battle was on its last legs, another battle on its way to a quick resolution, but this is how it was with water Pokémon. My trump card was type advantage, almost always getting the best of the battle. Driffy, I want you to use Shockwave on the turtle then another Minimize just in case it tries to attack you, keep your eyes peeled and use your evasiveness to dodge, even though the Wartortle should be finished by the end of this round anyway. Voltorb, I want you to finish it with another Thunderbolt, but if somehow it survives just hit it with one last Thunderbolt and it should be more than well done.’ I uttered with a smile, ‘not to long now guys. Oh and kid, once this battle is done, I’d suggest you keeping a firm hand on your Pokémon, or at least a heavy eye. I’d hate for you to run in to me again by accident, because next time I might just have to strip you off your cash and Pokémon.’ Note: Along with heading back to the beach for the plot after the Pokecenter, I'd like to use my thunder TM on Driffloon, wasn't sure how to word it in to the post so if you could sort something out i'd be grateful.
