Aquos the Third

The boy made his way back to his older brother. If the machine wasn't going to give him a soda, his brother was. And then it hit him - he'd been lugging around a six-pack ... of soda. No wonder he couldn't outrun Mistral. There was that lugging him down all these while. That. Six-pack. Of. Soda. Clearly something had went wrong within his brain; he was losing his memory. Getting old. Kite shuddered, eying Mistral before turning away quickly. "Benny~! Whatcha talkin' about? Me?!" he half-yelled, hearing what sounded suspiciously like his name. The ten-year-old wormed his way into his older brother's lap, squirming as he tried to get his brother to look at him. At the moment, Arthur looked like he was more interested in daydreaming about girls than answering his question. And that would not do. He squirmed a little, looking at his brother expectantly, demanding an answer with his not-so-piercing gaze. He idly slid his hand into his pack, pulling out a can of soda and opening it. Kite sipped it slowly, watching his brother keenly with his matching green eyes. "Benny ... are you and Crissy ignoring me?" |

"Hey, Crissy. It wasn't fair how Mistral beat me in tag, so I didn't have as much fun." With that pointed out, he shot a glare at the mantyke, then glanced at Arthur's other pokemon. He fidgeted a little as he made himself comfortable leaning on his older brother as he watched Criss. The trainer certainly wasn't as interesting as he thought he was, now that the rush of their first battle together had worn off. Criss didn't look like the type to be an older brother, but his train of thought was quickly disproved when the Kalasen boy offered to help Kite get back his candy. Get back his candy? What was he even thinking? With a frown and crossing of his arms, Kite shook his head and frowned disapprovingly at the young man. "Huh. Crissy ... they're probably half-eaten and ... well. I don't want half-eaten candy; they're not tasty anyway. Right, Benny?" He glanced up at his older brother, lightly nudging him to get a response. "I totally love you if you'd agree with me," he continued, but once again, did not wait for his brother to speak. He was already scrambling away from his brother and rudely intruding on Criss's privacy by somehow planting himself on the teenager's lap firmly. "Though I suppose I can't turn away someone who wants to help me ... but it's not gunna be my fault if you die trying." The boy leaned back as he laughed to himself, stopping only to look at Criss with a smirk. |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Shimo City [Retracing Steps] The setting sun was nothing more than a sliver over the horizon, setting behind a hill coated with thick and lush pine trees. It’s light bounded off of the deep green leaved coats that sheltered the trees and down onto the thick hills of snow that lay ahead in your path, the light twinkling against its surface like stars against an inky black sky. The night was closing in as the orange hues became engulfed by the purple and black die that was lit with actually stars, each of them bright and of different unique sized and shapes –some of them even depicted simple pictures in the sky. But you had nothing to fear, for along your path little old fashioned light poles were stretched out along the road. Each of them clicked on as you walked passed, brightening the route ahead, as you went on with your childish quest of hunting down the leftover candies from your previous mobbing. Of course, much like Kite had said, there was probably nothing left of them –and if there was something left, none of you would think about consuming something that was touched with the saliva from those mangy weasels. But the three of you continued on nonetheless, looking for anything, whether it be traces of candy along the snow covered path or those three troublesome weasels causing more problems for any other newcomers; honestly the three of you just wanted something to do, right? The path wrapped around a cluster of trees, which lead to an odd seen. Upon the white ground lay numerous wrappers from Kites stolen candies, all of different colors and patterns; striped, bright colored wrappers and shiny glossed wrappers were spread out everywhere. A small gust of wind crept up from behind, startling a few of you, and moved ahead to pick up the wrappers and throw them away a few feet –showing to all of you that they were empty. Well, all except one. There was a bright glossy red wrapper sitting on a small hill of snow that had a sliver of a cinnamon flavored hard candy left in it. And, out of nowhere, a little creature crept up from the side of the hill and dove for the candy –grasping it between his hands and bringing it up to his beak. He sniffed the artificial sweet, smiling slightly, when a sharp snap sounded from behind him. The little red Pokemon narrowed his eyes and spun around, just in time to be slammed by a Chikorita in the gut by a full on Tackle. The two of them somersaulted down the hill, each of them falling over one another, before they landed face first in the snow –with the candy falling a few feet away, right between and in the line of sight of the two. Chikorita picked herself up first and dashed for the candy, her eyes big with excitement, when she was slammed in the side by the Magby who had a look of revenge flickering in his eyes. The two fell into the snow again, rolling about and hurting one another, while the piece of candy just sat there and looked pretty for the both of them. The two of them were probably starving; why else would they fight over something so petty as (not even) half a piece of candy? The two of them were swearing and growling at one another, trying to fight the other scavenger off, when all of a sudden Magby managed to scramble his way up the small hill to the candy. He picked it between his claws like before and spun around, ready to intercept Chikorita’s attack this time, but the little one managed to counter her move by attacking Magby with a Tackle from a different angle. Again, the two of them fell to the ground and rolled. And again, the candy flew in the sky, the sunlight hitting it just right so that it shined like a holy beacon. And again, it fell to the snow covered ground as the two small Pokemon continued to beat one another down. The candy rolled this time though, over to a small patch of trees on the side where something greedy lay sleeping. It came into his line of vision while the little ones fought as he lay on his stomach, waking up from his long nap, and he reached out for it with his heavy hand. He clasped the candy between his two fingers and rolled over, causing a lot of commotion, and he eventually sat up. He studied the candy for a second and then looked up, only to see that Magby and Chikorita were both looking at him, horrified. The fatass studied the candy once more, then looked at the two, then the candy, then the two, and then he finally preceded to toss the cinnamon treat into his mouth. He didn’t even stop to taste it; he swallowed it whole before he flopped back down onto the ground and began to doze off to sleep once more. Meanwhile, Chikorita and Magby were both horrified and enraged; that fatass, who had enough fat on him to last him a life time, stole the last piece of food available to the two of them. Magby screeched out in anger, but Snorlax didn’t care; he was already beginning to dream. Things were about to get real ugly between these three…

Kite had quickly asked Arthur if they were ignoring him, but Criss gave a quick answer. Then, Criss mentioned finding Kite's old candy. Kite was somewhat on the fence about it, both seemingly wanting to find the candy, yet at the same time not wanting "half eaten" candy. "Well, he is right, the candy is probably mostly eaten. Then again, what else is there to do? Why did we come to Shimo, anyway. . . I guess we might as well, there's not much else we can do sitting around the Pokemon Center." Kite had once again asked Arthur a question then completely ignored him before he could give a response, moving to Criss' lap. It was pretty common, so it didn't bother Arthur much. "Well, we won't find the candy sitting around, so let's go." Arthur said, quickly calling- much to their dismay- Poliwag and Growlithe. He didn't really care about the candy, but he didn't really want to sit around doing nothing either. With this out of the way, the three had headed off out of the Pokemon Center and into the forest. They had walked a short distance, but why were they not riding on Chu Chu? Either way, they quickly discovered a pile of candy wrappers. The Sneasel probably stopped after realizing they hadn't been pursued at all, and ate the candy. However, after a quick gust of wind swept over the group, the Sneasel appeared to miss one. A small piece of hard candy lay on the ground, as if it was a beacon of hope. At least, it seemed like it for these two. A Magby had dove towards it, treating it like he hadn't ate in a long time. However, he was quickly countered by a Chikorita, who tackled him down to seize the candy for herself. This dispute seemed to continue for a short time, before they eventually reached a tie breaker. A Snorlax had simply snatched the candy they were fighting over up, quickly devouring it. He didn't even unwrap it, and although I doubt his first instinct would be to unwrap candy, he ate the paper too! Arthur glanced at the candy and the Pokemon. Although they had come to seek out the candy, what Arthur was concerned with was the fact that they just encountered three presumably wild Pokemon. Why, it was amazing luck! He didn't necessarily reference their rarity, however, glancing at Kite and Criss before back to the Pokemon. "So, what now, then?" It was a disappointingly short journey, but who knows, perhaps more is in store for them. |

There were three big pokemon lurking around! ... a gasp escaped Kite's mouth as he stared, stunned at the scene that unfolded before him. It was a total disaster; words would most likely have failed him, had he attempted to describe the situation. "... nnnnh!" he half-growled. His emerald orbs fell on the strewn wrappers, then they followed the sweets that went into the snorlax's wide-open mouth. The fat oaf! He was stealing all of the candy ... but then again, so were the chikorita and magby. Unconsciously, Kite's hands balled into fists. This was no way to treat candy - his candy. With such a predicament on his hands, Kite found himself on the verge of crying. All of his candy was gone down the esophagus of a fatass and what remained was contested over by two little pokemon he had no interest in. "B-Benny ..." mumbled the young boy as he glanced at his older brother, waiting for some kind of opinion to surface on what they should be doing. Arthur, of course, was his usual self in stating that he had no idea what to do. Criss was of no help either in the child's eyes - the older teen was merely bouncing the Winter boy's question off him and into the open. It seemed like ... yeah. Kite figured that this was probably the time for him to take things into his own hands. If candy was what started the entire dilemma, then candy was going to solve it - or so he thought as he walked past the older boys towards the fighting pokemon. A hand dipped into his sling bag, taking out some mint-flavored candy. "I'm gunna give them more candy, Benny - and Crissy," he announced, throwing the first of three in the general direction of the magby, and then two more in random directions. Naturally, he wanted the fighting pokemon apart ... but whether it worked or otherwise was a completely different matter. Mistral gurgled interestedly as she came to a stop upon Kite's head. She balanced herself rather gingerly upon the green cap, her dull-looking eyes suddenly curious when Kite took a step back. Even though he was courageous in a way, he was still a ten-year-old that was scared of pokemon much larger than him, as well as pokemon who were fighting their asses off over some stupid candy. "... here goes~!" |

Shimo City [Retracing Steps] Snorlax stretched his arms out and yawned after having consumed the last piece of candy, having eaten everything including the wrapper, and rolled back over onto the snow covered ground. He fell to the ground with a massive ‘thud’ as the earth shook beneath your feet, snow exploding off of from the impact site as the creatures body settled down into whatever snow was remaining beneath his massive bulk. As the earth shook the great pine trees which stood around you shivered as snow cascaded down from its branches and down onto the ground, blanketing the Snorlax in a thick quilt of snow. The creature yawned again as he continued to settle down into his frozen bed of ice and snow, completely ignoring the two little ones who were throwing a ruckus behind him. The Magby was stomping his foot repeatedly down and onto the ground as if he was throwing a temper tantrum, screeching and growling and spitting small flames to express his anger with the whole situation. The Chikorita, on the other hand, was simply shaking her head from side to side and growling to herself slightly. She was probably just as mad as Magby was with the situation, but she managed to contain and control her emotions in a much more respectable manner. The tension between the three (despite how the Snorlax was completely unaware of it) was still continuing to swell and fester..until little Kite made his move, that is. The little boy gathered some sweet and delicious candies into his little palms and pulled his arm back for each throw, sending each candy one by one out and into the snowy field. The sweet orbs of goody goodness plopped down and into the snow a few feet away from Kite; he had only managed to get them a few feet away from where he stood. When he had emptied his palms the ground near his feet was speckled with the three brightly colored goodies, standing out beautifully against the blanket of white that lay beneath them. The Snorlax, who had rolled over to the other direction by now (facing away from the three of you), didn’t see the small treasures that had began to rain down from the sky. But the other two, the little ones, caught sight of the other candies as little Kite tossed them out and into the open air. Magby cocked his head to the side, curious and confuses, as he quickly calmed his temper and began to approach the three of you from over a few small snowy hills. Chikorita was less courageous about the approach; she stayed back for a while and watched as the Magby climbed over a few small hills until he made his way to the candies and began to scoop them up and into his clawed palms. When she did approach, however, the little Magby turned his head to watch her. At first he seemed hostile, as if he wasn’t going to allow Chikorita to have any, but after turning back to look at the candies he looked back at her and nodded her over. She approached cautiously as Magby returned his attention to the candies, picking them up and studying them up close, before he turned around and faced his little friend. He chirped his name happily and handed over one of the three candies that he had gathered from the snow, pulling off the wrapper for her before he handed it over. He popped the other one into his mouth as the little Chikorita ate her own, both of them happy with their small treats, when they turned their heads up to their savior and smiled. Magby stood up and waved his arms over his head in the air, almost as if he was signaling for Kite to come over, as Chikorita popped up from the snow and began to bounce around. They seemed welcoming now, if the two of you wished to approach them, but before you could there was an evil that began to approach from afar. A massive shadow lurked over the two little Pokemon as Snorlax seemingly and almost magically appeared from out of nowhere behind the two of them. He held his head low and studied them closely, his eyes shifting back and forth from each loose wrapper on the ground, until his eyes finally settled on the one remaining candy. He growled and threw his arms into the air, like he was declaring to the world that the last one was his, before he threw his body down and onto the ground causing the earth to shake beneath your feet. Snow exploded from the ground again as he fell, both Chikorita and Magby only nearly escaping from the blast zone, for he had dived down for the candy. He was now rolling around in the snow, throwing the last piece of candy into his mouth, as he continued to growl and grumble in agitation. He seemed to be pissed off at everything: not having all of the candy, being awoken from his nap, having had to walk all that way just to get a bite to eat, having to mess with a group of humans, being in the snow –everything was just pissing this behemoth off. Magby and Chikorita were off to the side, watching the Snorlax as he tried to stand once more before he gave off an angry roar. These two were about to enter a whole world of trouble, perhaps things would end up better if you helped?

As Arthur contemplated what to do, Kite walked forward. Arthur almost jumped forward to stop him, but decided not to. However, he kept his hand on ChuChu's Pokeball, ready to send him out if necessary. Magby and Chikorita were rather angry at Snorlax's lazy, thief-like behavior, showing it in their actions. Chikorita seemed a bit more mature in her response, however. However, all that changed as Kite threw a few pieces of candy into the air, Chikorita and Magby looked over at the two. Snorlax had already lazily rolled over, not paying the group any mind. Magby curiously ran over to a piece of candy, looking at it curiously and if a bit hungrily. Was it food? Was it. . . Was it for him? Chikorita slowly started treading over, as Magby glanced back with a look of more hunger in his eyes, as if he would starve if Chikorita had any. However, as if taking a moment to evaluate the number of candies, he nodded to Chikorita in an accepting manner, as she- still cautiously- walked towards the candies. Magby continued examining the candies, giving them a light sniff. Perhaps he wondered how they would taste, or if they were edible? Of course, this is all musings. Finally, Magby happily let out a chirp of his name, handing one to his grassy friend as he pulled the wrapper off. Both popped the sweet treats into their mouth, delighted with the taste. The two seemed much happier, as Magby waved for Kite to come over and Chikorita happily bounced around. Arthur sighed now that they were friendly towards Kite; He wouldn't have to worry about them attacking him. However, Arthur still kept his hand on his Pokeball, and it was a good thing he did. Snorlax, as if he had learned Teleport, suddenly cast a big shadow over the two small Pokemon, standing tall over them. Shit, he got back up. There seemed to be a silence for a moment, as Snorlax glanced between all of the candy wrappers, examining the situation. He let out a loud growl, shouting "Snorrrrr!" While he did so, he threw his hands high into the air. That's one way to call dibs, I guess. Snorlax body slammed on the ground, the earth shaking underneath everyone's feet and sending snow flying outward, almost hitting Chikorita and Magby. He rolled back and forth, all the while tossing the candy in his mouth. He made very angry growls and moans, as if pissed that Kite didn't hand feed him his entire bag of candy. Snorlax attempted to stand up, letting out a loud, angry roar. Now THIS, this made Kite in danger. Arthur quickly jumped to action, removing ChuChu's Pokeball and releasing the large, train Pokemon. Upon release, ChuChu let out a small, happy blow of his whistle, but quickly realized a battle was about to happen. Wasting no time, Arthur quickly threw out his orders. "ChuChu, ram into Snorlax with Headbutt! Send the fatass laying on his back! And keep ramming into it!" Arthur shouted to ChuChu, who let out a "Chuuuuuuuuuuuu!" as he charged at Snorlax's fat belly. -- ChuChu: Headbutt x3 |

At long last, magby's rage was quelled and he seemed to be getting along well with the chikorita. Kite beamed proudly, turning to Arthur just for a little while. He too, could do some good even though he was just a kid. Magby waved at him; Kite took it as an invitation for him to head on over. His laughter echoed in the snow as he ran towards the two little pokémon. The boy soon came close to both of them, and nodded at them in greeting. "No fighting! It's so much better when you -" He fell silent as a shadow cast itself over magby, over chikorita, and over his own self. "Who switched off the lights?" Kite glanced upwards, and his jaw slacked. The snorlax! It was just above him! Knowing Arthur - his eyes snapped to his older brother's figure - he'd know what to do. But he ... he did not. "Bennyyyyyyyy!" he cried. Mistral was still with his brother and Criss, and not by his side. At least she'd be safe if the behemoth wanted to give him a bear hug or something. He bit his lower lip and huddled closer to the two pokémon. He'd rather be singed by embers and cut by razor-sharp leaves than turned into a pancake by ... a fatass. And then snorlax decided to flop down. On him. Near him. Quickly, he scrambled away and in the general direction of his brother; it was close call, for snorlax fell rather harshly and strongly onto the snow. The cold frost sprayed around him, hitting his neck and causing him to shiver. Kite didn't really like that, but it was better than being on the receiving end of a snorlax's slam. "Benny, do something!" he yelled, but Arthur was quick on the uptake. He had already sent out Chu Chu; orders given, the train pokémon homed in on its target. "Mistral, you two! Do ... do whatever you can!" Kite ran past the two young pokémon and Mistral as she soared past him, firing bubbles at the huge creature. The boy soon reached where Arthur was and wrapped an arm around him. "... what the hell just went on ..." Mistral: bubble x3 Edited by Caramel, Aug 27 2011, 12:20 AM.

In My Little White Room Again
|
Shimo City [Retracing Steps] The massive beast bent forwards so that he could place his arm on the ground and steady himself before he tried to stand up. Slowly and steadily though his massive shadow continued to grow over the three of you as he managed to push himself up onto his feet once more, his slit eyes pointed down at a diagonal angle to express an angry frown. His two small arms waddled besides him as he took a few steps closer to you, scaring off both the Chikorita and Magby (who were once acting so brave) to cower behind Kite's legs. They squeaked and whined as the giant Snorlax threw back his arms and head to release an infuriated roar into the sky, but they quickly grew quiet when he tried taking another step forwards. Karys took advantage of his slow movements to shoot up a flurry of Embers too the sky, which quickly rained back down on her and activated her ability. Flames spilling out of her mouth, the canine braced her body before she fired off another massive flurry of fire towards the giant creature before her. Her fire pellets seared against the creatures body, but the Snorlax merely cocked his head to the side in confusion. It looked like his Thick Fat ability had really dulled the amount of power behind Karys' attack. Suddenly though a grin slipped up on the beast's face and he charged the hound, throwing his body into her in a full out Tackle attack. The Houndour flipped back over her body and hit the ground, then proceeded to roll over herself twice before she finally came to a stop. Shaking her head she forced herself to stand once more, just in time to see Mistral try to defend her by firing off her own Bubble attack. The bubbles smacked into the Snorlax's chest, and much like Karys' Ember attack, it caused little damage. Flustered with how weak her attacks were turning out to be, Mistral began to growl as she fired off her second and third attack --hoping desperately that she could summon some overwhelming power like she had when she fought against the Sneasel's earlier. But no power came; the Snorlax was just to strong and had too much of an endurance to truly be in much worry over the attacks these children were throwing at him. The creature burped once after Mistral had finished, showing that he was hardly effected at all, and then quickly he rammed himself into the small Pokemon in a similar way that he had Tackled Karys. Mistral was throw down to the ground with a thud, her eyes big and swelling with tears, when suddenly Chu Chu came to the rescue! The train rammed his head into the gut of the beast, jerking his neck upwards in a headbutting motion as the two of them collided. The Snorlax stumbled back, nearly falling back on his ass, when he managed to catch himself and let out a massive roar towards the train like Pokemon. Steam puffed out from Chu Chu as he narrowed his eyes in anger as he charged the Snorlax again with another Headbut. This time though he managed to throw the Snorlax back onto his ass, causing a whirlwind of dirt and dust to explode off of the ground from the impact. The creature shook his head, trying to put his thoughts together when he noticed Chu Chu was charging again. This time though he caught the train in between his massive hands, halting the attack, then pulled one arm high over his head and struck down with a Strike at Chu Chu's face. The Snorlax grumbled and took a few steps back, happy with how he took on this round.

The Snorlax was rather resilient, taking all of the blows from the group and still fighting as in they were nothing. That's what Arthur liked. ChuChu was slamming into it, but Snorlax managed to grab it and stop it at the end. It stopped a train? With it's bare hands? . . . Heh, bare hands. It's a bear. . . Get it? . . . Moving on. It would need to possess quite a bit of strength to do that, certainly worth a catch. ChuChu was in front of the Snorlax, blowing his whistle angrily at the beast. "Alright ChuChu, let's switch it up! Ram into him with a powerful Flare Blitz! If he doesn't go down or grabs you, pelt him with some Aura Spheres!" Arthur shouted towards ChuChu. The train let out another blow of it's whistle, as a light layer of steam slowly floated out from the Pokemon. ChuChu charged at Snorlax, flames enveloping his train body, ready to tackle him with a Flare Blitz. Meanwhile, Arthur grabbed one of his Pokeballs. If Snorlax would go down this time, he'd throw the Pokeball at him. Of course, if it didn't faint, he wouldn't throw the Pokeball. Then, Arthur looked over towards Kite. "Kite, have Mistral use Supersonic on Snorlax, then go back to Bubble!" -- ChuChu: Flare Blitz x1. If Snorlax doesn't faint or stops ChuChu(Which shouldn't stop him anyway) pelt him with a bunch of Aura Spheres. Arthur: If Snorlax faints this ref, throw a Pokeball and catch it. |

Life is not a fairytale and there are no happy endings.

(Okay seeing as Aquos hasn't posted in a while and as such Sen would like to depart, I'm going to have to create a bit of chaos here to try and create some order..)~ Shimo City Before your attacks could get in, the weather took a turn for the very worst. Shimo was a very cold city, but it was about to experience some really heavy weather. A strong wind blew past you all, halting your pokemon before you were all pelted with snow and hailstone. The weather, litterally came out of nowhere, asif a pokemon had started this. The Snow was thick, and the hailstone hurt, and the air became misty, wrapping you all in a deep, thick fog. This didn't stop Chu Chu from attacking, who lit up like a red diamond in the white that surrounded you all, charging in and hitting Snorlax a little deaper this time. The Snorlax groaned out, yet couldn't seem to do a thing, not being able to see through the snow. This gave the train the perfect oppurtunity to retaliate with a couple of Aura Spheres, rendering the Snorlax unable to battle any further. Arthur had to get off the pokeball now, before this sudden snow storm became even worse. Capturing the Snorlax with ease, you now needed to find shelter quickly. Whilst this happened however, Criss' Houndour began to bark off in one direction, growling and snarling before running off. Naturally, Criss, you would have to give chase, leaving your two companions behind to fare for themselves. Karys got quite a headstart, and all that guided you now was seeing bursts of red through the snow, lighting it up a reddish tint. Karys was charging off fire at something. Which left Arthur and Kite, who were now seperated by the ever growing storm. You could probably hear each other if you shouted, but finding each other would be a different task. What was more important for both of you was finding some sort of shelter, or better yet a complete way out of this frozen hell. The once fighting duo of Chikorita and Magby could be seen huggling together as they watched the snow spin around them. They were frightened, had no idea what was going on or no idea how to get out of this mess. (Chu, if you would like to split for Aquos too just PM me and I will make you a new journey also, no need to post in the RRT. If you would like to wait for her return, then that's fine too. Aquos, same for you I suppose, if you do return.) Chu Chu Trains experience Criss' experience Caramel's experience
